+ -1 moreThey never responded to me. I don't know why they are in Angie's list. I expect as a professional courtesy that they would at least reply that they are booked or not interested. Nothing. No communication whatsoever.
Description of Work: On Friday, 7 April 2017, at 1:40 PM I sent them the following note through Angie's List: I am looking for a lawn mowing vendor and landscaping services vendor for jobs such as such as fertilization, mulching, gardening, water run off maintenance as required. We are located at (***** address edited out *****), Schuylkill Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. Our property has a steep grade in spots. In the past, we have had lawn services which have damaged our trees and bushes with their weed whackers and cracked our PVC downspouts with their lawnmowers. I want to protect my trees, bushes, and downspouts. Please let me know if you are interested. Thank you.

+ -1 moreHow did it go? Horribly. He broke a large window garage window with his leaf blower he was told specifically NOT to use near the house. Caused a loss of $1535! When he was starting to use the leaf blower in the back of the house he showed me how strong it was to blow leaves several yards into the woods. Told him NOT to use it. But when he got to the front, he was too lazy to use a broom and used the leaf blower right in front of the windows and blew a rock into the garage window. Don't hire him!. If you do, get a contract for the pricing and a copy of his insurance with your name and property address on it. Total creep. Horrible disreputable business.
Description of Work: Bruce Wassel was hired to cut the grass. We agreed on a price then he doubled it. He's a creep. I showed him the property boundaries, having described them in detail [simple enough, though had to say it several times.. "Our property goes all the way to the neighbor's bed, in fact their bed is a foot over the boundary. Cut the grass in a straight line up from the street to the edge of neighbor's bed and go straight back."] But after all this, he cut only the grass halfway between the 2 properties. Then tried to defend himself by saying it makes more sense if the boundary is between the 2 properties. Slow? Arrogant? Obnoxious? Used to getting away with up-charging and the breaking windows and walking away??

+ -1 moreBruce has been my lawn care and leaf clean-up resource for approximately two years. He has consistently been both proactive and very responsive with scheduling. His prices are reasonable. Additionally, he also performs some handyman services. If there is a project that I need completed in an area outside his experience, he is often able to refer me to someone else.
Description of Work: Yard cleanup/branch removal from the major storms that came through the area this spring, trimming, lawn mowing.
