Steve arrived promptly and had one other person helping him. Steve reviewed the carpets and answered all of our questions regarding their process. Steve had a great attitude, very customer-focused. He detailed out the exact price before they started, and as well as their 30 day guarantee. He also explained that their allergy spray was applied last and that it changes the chemical composition of the allergy components so that they do not cause an allergic reaction.
The team were very efficient and worked to pre-treat and hot water extract. One of our rooms had a number of old stains from the previous owners that we were not very optimistic they could do anything about....but the team was able to make them look much better than we thought possible. Only wish the cleaning of the edges of the carpet throughout had been a bit better, but Steve had cautioned us that they would improve, but couldn't be perfect. Forced air heating and cooling causes the carpet to act like an air filter on its edges resulting in their darkened appearance. The job took just about two hours to complete which is what they told me it would be.
One thing to be aware of....it took our carpets about 24 hours to fully dry even with the heat turned up and our ceiling fans activated. Angelo's office had said 4-6 hours and Steve said it would take 6-8 hours to dry. It would be better if they had set our expectations at 24 hours..

There are many climatic elements that could effect drying times that are beyond control. Also filtration soiling (what caused the darkened edges) can cause permanent discoloration which sounds like may be the case in your situation. "Sorry for the delay in responding as we just saw the review. I would like to start by apologizing for the mishap with the air duct cleaning equipment as this is not like us at all. We dropped the ball and that was not taken lightly. We did have the equipment but the remote to control the machine had been misplaced leaving the machine useless. Unfortunately your location was about an hour away from our shop, so all we could do was offer to reschedule the air duct cleaning for another day. We were not aware that you were having a situation with pet fur. Our equipment, because of the agitating brush, actually balls up fur and kicks it back out, then we would have to pick it up by hand. Paul and Matt did not notice an above average amount of pet fur within the carpet and do not recall fur balling up. Could it be the carpet shedding? Dry times for carpet can vary greatly depending on many climatic factors. We try to give accurate dry times per each specific situation once we are on the job. If the heat was set to low or not turned on, this could have prolonged dry times. We cleaned the carpets late in the day and the drying process slows greatly once it becomes dark in the evening, but then usually within a few hours of morning light they are dry. We applied Scotchgard which could add a little time to the drying process. According to our records, we did a follow up call on 12/22/2015 (4 days after cleaning your carpet) and received a good response on job satisfaction. Unfortunately we were not made aware of your later dissatisfaction. Once again, we are very sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused you. One other point, John could have easily charged my an extra fee for "pre-scrubbing" carpets since I had stated to him that I didn't think the carpets would come completely clean, but he said he didn't. I appreciate the fairness, integrity and respect he showed by not "gouging" me.
I highly recommend Angelo's to anyone who needs their carpets cleaned.
