We had to deal with a lot of unexpected problems that came up during that project, and Dan was always cheerful and positive about how to deal with them. I now have a fail-safe sump pump system installed, which has been a big worry off my mind. You can count on him to be straightforward in his business, and skilled in what he does.

So far the drain and the water filter are working fine. I highly recommend American Drain Cleaning and Plumbing because of their willingness to go one step further than the average plumber to give good service.

With a big storm came a flood in my basement and silence with my sump pump, I called Dan Rolli on Sunday and arranged for him to come on Tuesday. He came and installed a new pump that day. I, then, showed him my other plumbing needs, fixing 2 sinks (one with a pump he had to order). The previous owner of my home, a do-it-your selfer (who really didn't know how how to do things correctly), installed a wet bar in the basement and had the sink and pump installed wrong. Dan fixed it and it turned out to be a much bigger project then he replaced the kitchen sink and tightened the powder room sink fixture. His prices didn't go over the quote. I didn't have time to get multiple quotes or to wait so I choose Dan because of his reputation on Angie's list and I was not disappointed.

Overall the job went well. The plumber came out on Saturday morning because he knew he was going to be busy the next week. He did not charge extra for the weekend. I called him on Friday and he came out the next day. He showed up on time.

The technician arrived only 30 minutes before our drain appointment was set up. He put on boots and slogged throughout the basement, looking at the sump pump that failed. He took it out of the pit and pointed out why it failed but could not assist us in any other way other than to quote a price for a replacement which was around $450. We decided that was not an option and he said he would only charge us the $129 emergency service charge. I am not sure what else he would have charged us for because he only spent about 15 minutes coming up with ideas as to what we could do but we were able to solve the problem ourselves. In hindsight, it was not money well-spent and we were able to handle the problem more inexpensively on our own. Had we not already had an appointment set up for just 30 minutes after he showed up, it would have been a little easier to swallow an expensive "emregency service charge fee."

Dan Rolli arrived on time. He listened carefully to my story of how the toilets wouldn't properly flush (it took several tries at times) and that they would keep running. "Jiggling the handle" wouldn't stop them. Upon examination, Dan recommended the rebuild, and explained why. During his activities, Dan kept me informed, and kept the work area clean. When he made a run for a part, he kept that errand off the clock. He completed the work within a few hours, start to finish. Overall, it was an excellent experience. I know whom to call for future plumbing needs.

Dan Rolli came on time. He explained exactly what he needed to do. My powder room is very small and the working space was limited and it was a very hot day. He worked diligently under those conditions and did the job. He called me after he left to advise me that if there was a further problem with my toilet he would come back to replace the toilet and apply a credit for the work he just did. He is a very polite and friendly person. He does not talk down to you, which many male service people do to women.

Two days before I took my family on a vacation 450 miles away, our sewer backed up into the bathroom in the basement. Twice. I wish the stench and disgust factor on NOBODY. So I joined the list the next morning and found Dan. He was in the middle of a job, but mentioned that he might be able to come out the next day. We played phone tag on my way home later on--thanks to the dead spots in my commute--but it didn't bother Dan in the least. He agreed to meet with my mother-in-law the next morning and even gave her a call to let her know he was en route. Dan had the issue diagnosed AND fixed in less than two hours and even called me to tell me how to prevent the problem from happening again. My mother-in-law mentioned no less than four times in two calls how nice, courteous, and professional he was.

The result was neutral. Water still stands in the drain but this was not Rolli;s fault

A very positive experience. I called in the morning to report that my toilet was constantly running and wouldn't flush. By late morning, the problem was being worked on - everything was done by lunchtime and the price was reasonable. A nice guy, no pressure and good work. Would use again.

Searched the list and found many good reviews for this company. Called Daniel on a late Sunday afternoon and explained my issue. He was able to come out and resolve the issue within the hour since it was an emergency. Daniel arrived very quickly and assessed the issue. Once he had an idea on where the clog was located he began working to resolve it. I was back up and running in no time. Daniel was very courteous and professional and afterwords I showed him a few other plumbing issues I had in which I scheduled an appointment to have him come back and resolve in the next few weeks. Highly recommended

I had tried clearing the drain for many months with liquid drain cleaners. The drain slowly became slower and slower to drain. Dan responded promptly to my request for service and solved the problem quickly. He was prompt, cheerful & courteous. I have had him repair an outside leaking faucet within one week of the original work. So, Yes I would ask him back for future plumbing needs.

On Christmas day during dinner preparations for nine people (some from out of town), our kitchen sink stopped up. We did our best to figure it out--but could not. Called American Drain Cleaning & Plumbing by looking at Angies List. Daniel Rolli, Jr. said he would come. He told us in advance that there would be a holiday charge of $200. He came over within the hour, diagnosed the problem, and cleaned out the clogged drain, which was part of the basement piping. He was courteous, plesant, thorough and quick. We were able to finish cooking our dinner, enjoy it and avoid a disaster. All this was very expensive (because of the extra holiday charge) but it was worth it.

They were fine. They were a little expensive but the quality was good.

Called him on a Friday night at 6-7pm. And he picked up, rather than those operator service which takes messages (ugh, I hate those). Asked him when's the soonest he can come out, he said he can be out here between 8-10am the next day (Saturday). He came out, courteous enough to remove his shoes since we have a baby crawling around. Looked at the pipes, gave an estimate, and honored the coupon he had on Angie's list for $30 off. Real honest, and great guy. Strongly recommend him.

They were very responsive to our initial call for questions about service and an estimate. One thing to note - though it does say 'free estimate' here in their listing, it's not really true - the company will come out and give an estimate, but charge a fee ($79 in our case). If you choose them for the job you can get the fee reimbursed by a rebate. Just FYI. At any rate we did pick them and they were on time for the job. They diagnosed the exact problem and kept us updated on the progress. Unfortunately it was muddy that day and mud was tracked onto our carpet basement by the two workers. They did scrub it up and put sheets down then, but there are still stains that will have to be steamcleaned left. After going to a store for necessary parts, the spigot and pipes were fixed and now work great. The workers were local guys and professional. We would probably use them again for other plumbing needs.

The main sewage line of our house was backing up. It started becoming noticeably slow a few weeks ago, but got progressively worse until it was unusable. I called Dan on a Saturday and he came out the following Monday morning. He diagnosed the problem and was able to clear the sewage line by cabling from the street back to the house. He performed the whole service outside in the yard. Dan is courteous, professional and very dedicated to his work. Thank God people are willing and capable of doing this type of work!

His price was fair, he showed when promised and completed the job quickly.

Dan was on time and finished the work in a resonable amount of time. The $500 included all the replacement parts needed as well. One of the repairs took longer than he had anticipated, but he stood by his original quote. I would definitely use Dan again for future plumbing issues.

Dan answered an early morning phone call, called ahead as promised when he was on his way, and had our well-toilet unclogged within 10 minutes of arrival at our house. He also gave us good advice to prevent the same problem again. The service along with the discount coupon made for a very satisfactory plumbing repair experience. Now if only he had a preventative solution for potty-training toddlers who flush entire boxes of baby wipes...

Answered my phone call (as opposed to the others who didn't return calls), came out same day, fixed the problem quickly, and was professional and friendly. I can't really tell you what the issue was except that something on one of the pipes was loose and leaking water all over my bathroom and he was able to just tighten it. I'm very happy I found them and will absolutely know who to call the next time I have a plumbing issue!

Dan asked me a few questions over the phone, and offered to come over that night. I asked if it would be OK to wait until the next day, and he advised me that it would certainly save me some money if I could wait. He did ask if we could go through the night without flushing or putting more water down the drains, and I said we could. We scheduled an appointment for between 8 and 10 AM the next morning (Saturday). At about 8:05 AM he called to say that he was in front of the house but there was no parking available. After moving my truck to the alley, he parked and we went to the basement. The water had receded from the tub by now. He checked the air vent at the front of the house as we flushed and ran water, and informed us that the blockage was between the house and the street. He could clear it for us for $275. I agreed, and after the necessary paperwork, he cleaned the drain-pipe out a couple of times, and then watched as we generated as much water flow as possible to make sure it was not backing up. Everything seems to be working perfectly. Oh, by the way, he also honored his coupon (which was deducted off the $275). He also sold us some treatment to help keep the pipe clear of sludge -- 64 treatment's worth. I was very pleased with Dan's professionalism, his calmness, and his work. In fact, I intend to have him come back to fix a leak in the drain of the laundry sink. It's good to find someone like Dan that you feel you can trust. Bottom line: Dan was punctual, professional, knowledgeable, efficient, thorough, and very, very polite. We also enjoyed getting to meet Chester, his assistant (who although he is obviously not comfortable with dogs patiently endured our two dogs' frantic attention). I probably would have paid more to be able to flush my toilets and take a shower, but I was very happy to pay Dan for his work.

I discovered that my sewer pipe was backing up through my access drain. I searched on Angie's List and found Daniel, and called him up on a Friday morning. I was desperately hoping that he could come before the weekend (and before things started backing up into my house). Daniel was extremely polite and professional and said he was working on something, but could be there that afternoon. He arrived on time, and got to work. After he cleared the drain he explained that my drain pipe may have shifted some, and if it clogged again it may need to be replaced. He gave me a quote to have it replaced, but said that if it didn't clog again I would be OK. My neighbor two doors down had to have his pipe replaced 2 years ago and the cost was comparable to the quote given. I was very happy that he came out so quickly, and was impressed with his professionalism.
