Dan picked up his phone off-hours over the weekend, scheduled me for first thing Monday morning, showed up on time, and addressed the problem fast and professionally. I particularly appreciated that he used covers on his shoes to prevent tracking dirt in and out. Dan was knowledgeable, efficient and a gentleman.

I was very pleased with the service from Dan and Gar at American Drain Cleaning to clear the clogged upstairs bathroom sink in my house. They arrived as scheduled, and were very professional. Throughout the visit Dan continually updated me on the progress of the job and clearly explained all of the possible solutions and associated costs with each. I was impressed with his perseverance in working to clear the drain, rather than simply moving to a more costly alternative. After the job was completed their clean up was equally impressive and much appreciated. I will call American Drain for any future plumbing needs and will recommend them to friends and neighbors.

Dan and Garth came out to snake the sewer pipe. They spent a lot of time doing this as it was very clogged. Dan stuck with the job until it was thoroughly cleaned. He made some plumbing recommendations whici we will follow. Both guys were a pleasure to know and I would highly recommend them for plumbing work.

Dan was very pleasant and professional from the first phone call to completion of the job. I felt very comfortable having him in my home and very confident in his expertise. He patiently answered my questions, left the workspace very clean and did a great job. He let me know he found a leaking pipe in my basement (which I was aware of) and was very professional in his recommendation to have it repaired before it became a bigger problem. This is the fourth plumbing company I've had to my home in the past five years and the only one I will be calling for future work. No one ever likes to spend money on replacing old appliances but Dan made this a very pleasant experience.

The week after moving into a new home we had the sewer back up in the front yard. I had just started my new job and was away from home when my wife called me about the issue. I called Dan based on the A ratings he has received and was not disappointed. He was at a job in Delaware at the time but said he could be there within 2 hours, Dan was right on time and professional. I would definitely use him again.

Dan Rolli is a conscientious, careful, thorough, and professional life-saver. This is the third time we've called Dan for a blocked sewer. The house is 103 years old, and the line between the house and the street got blocked (again) by tree roots. This time I also pre-purchased for a reduced fee a maintenance cleaning next year. No more sewage backup in the washroom sink for us! Later in the week, Dan also came back an replaced the nasty washroom sink. The old one leaked at the drain, the faucets leaked, and it wiggled around like a hula dancer after a mai-tai. He also replumbed some water cut-off valves (putting in new ball valves instead of the ever-leak-prone older valves, and replumbed a rather nasty drainage system done by a previous owner who apparently lacked a spirit level (or common sense or even a rough sense that water won't flow uphill in a drain). Net results, the new wash sink is rock solid. The valves are nicely modernized. The drainage pipes from bathroom and kitchen run downhill, and are much neater looking overall. In addition Dan and Garland (his right-hand man) cleaned up the work area so that it was cleaner than when they started! Garland even climbed out on the roof and put a bead of silicone seal around the exhaust stack. I heartily recommend Dan Rolli's American Drain Cleaning and Plumbing services. He and Garland are two of the really good guys. Approximate cost for new washroom sink, drain, faucets, and ball-valves cut-in to isolate the rear of the house: $825 Approximate cost for replumbing the drains for the kitchen sink, dishwasher, shower, toilet, and bathroom sink (including a new cleanout access point that wasn't there, before): $1,100

Once I discovered the issue, I came to A.L. to search for a local service. I sopke with them on the phone, ans was told they be there in a couple of hours. I began the cleanup inside, By the time I finished, they were on their way. Once they arrived, they accessed the situation, provide a written quote, and began their repair. A couple of hours later, the drain was unplugged. They were polite, professional, I would use them again, and recommend them.

I asked for an estimate to install a GAS-FIRED water heater for a friend that was in the hospital.This would be a new installation, where there was no stand-alone water heater before After examining the area, which had easy access to the supply water, the feed water and the gas supply, I thought that I would get an actual itemized quote. Instead, I was told the labor rate of $240/hr plus materials. I found this to be quite surprising, since the job was fairly straight forward. Also, I rather annoyed that although I specifically asked for a GAS-FIRED water heater, an Electric water heater was mentioned several times, where each time I said I only wanted a GAS-FIRED water heater. This incident demonstrated the typical "I am the contractor, and I will tell you what you want!" attitude. It was obvious that this job was not desired by American Drain Cleaning & Plumbing, and I fufilled their wishes!!!

Our main sewer drain clogged and (ugh!) backed up on Sunday afternoon. I called them and got an immediate answer and a promise to arrive between 8 and 10 today (Monday). They called at 8:15 to say they were on their way and arrived soon thereafter. It took a good long time to get the roots, etc out of the pipe, but I can report that they were fully successful. They explained what they were doing and why. We ended up spending a bit more for some grease-cutting drain cleaner. And I signed up for the annual maintenance plan which includes and annual pipe cleaning. Neither of these expenses are the $383 listed above (which would have been $413 but for the AList discount.)

Called to proactively change out a 15-year old hot water heater and spoke to Dan. I felt immediately comfortable because of Dan's courteous and helpful demeanor. He and his assistant, Garland, were able to come out the next day. They arrived at exactly the agreed upon time and in fact, they even called 30 minutes before to say they were on their way. This is totally uncharacteristic of so many other businesses we've called and was truly appreciated. When it was noted that our water pressure was way too high, they not only changed the hot water heater, they also installed a new relief valve. I'm certain that we avoided a major disaster because of Dan's knowledge and experience. I felt the price was reasonable. I'm completely satisfied with American Drain Cleaning and Plumbing and I would HIGHLY recommend that others use their services. In fact, we will definitely call them again when we have additional plumbing needs.

They were fast and good. They were a little on the high side as far as pricing goes, but they were very good. They were very prompt and came out the same day and finished up in a day. I spent about $1100 on that service. They were here within the hour of me calling them.

Daniel arrived within the hour and was done in less than an hour. I've never had anyone apologize for charging an emergency fee before and he apologized at least 3 times. He explained exactly what had to be done and showed me the repairs he made. The guy's a gem and I recommend him without reservation.

No complaints. He came when he said he would. He did what he said he would do. He was tidy and cleaned up after himself... all good!

Since the cleanout, we have not had problems, but it might be a year or two before we know for sure how well it was done.

Overall the service went well. They said they'd be at my house between 8 and 10 am, and were there and gone before 10. He did try to sell me on an additional service, installing a different kind of valve at my main water supply. He gave me an estimate on the work, and when I said it was out of my price range for now, he didn't pressure me.

Even though he encountered unanticipated technical difficulties in performing the task, Dan charged only what he had estimated to complete the job. We are impressed with the professionalism and knowledge, and will call this company again if we have a plumbing problem.

I noticed there was no hot water coming form the show/tub faucet in the hall bathroom (but there was hot water from every other faucet in the house, including the sink in the hall bathroom) so I logged on to check out reviews of local plumbers. The reviews were glowing so I called, they worked around my schedule and were out to the house in a couple of hours with the work complete in a short period of time. They let me know exactly what the problem was, how they were going to fix it and how much it was going to cost. I will most definitely call Dan the next time I need any sort of plumbing work done and highly recommend this company.

I got the company from Angie?s List, based on the glowing recommendations. They were right! I called on Monday and they were able to come out on Tuesday. As promised they called before they showed up and were right on time when they did. Mr. Rolli and his partner were wonderful. The job was explained to me upfront, firm price quoted, and the job began. He did a nice job correcting the problem, and making my new dishwasher hum. They used mats to cover my hardwood floor, and cleaned up when they left. I couldn?t have asked for a better plumbing experience!

We are very pleased with the overall job. They experiened difficulty accessing the pipes they needed to install the shower fixtures but persevered until they were successful. They were neat and left the job site as clean as they had found it.
