They did very poor work on a very expensive carpet and then proceeded to respond most nastily when I complained. Do not take anything of value to them!

The cleaning was excellent as was the service. They called prior to the cleaning to explain what work required and gave me a quote. The cost was more than I was expecting from an advertised special but the discrepancy was explained and was valid and reasonable. I would have liked to have known little more about how their services worked prior to the pickup but that is just a minor issue.

Not sure if they even cleaned the rug...or if they did the cleaning was so minimal that I couldn't even tell what had been done. Rug was wrapped in paper so I didn't realize the poor quality of the cleaning until I got home. Called to complain but only got answering machine... and no reply.

I have found the people at Zakian to be very knowledgeable about all kinds of rugs. They carefully examine the rugs and offer good advice on how they will make repairs. They also provide good suggestions for on-going care you can do yourself. All if my rugs were ready when promised. I highly recommend Zakian.

They called to discuss repairs that were needed and confirm what we wanted done, and then they did it. Return service was prompt and on-time. Rugs look great. My two oriental rugs were taken to their cleaning facility and thoroughly cleaned ($508). They also sent an individual out to clean my wall-to-wall carpets ($525). Both jobs were done well.

Excellent job. The rugs were quite worn in some areas and had been scratched by our cats in some areas. They look like new. I am shocked by how great they look. Price was fair for outcome.

We had 4 wool machine made "oriental" rugs from 30 to 45 year old. Zakian cleaned and repaired them and provided new padding. Pixie in the office was very helpful at explaining the various kinds of repairs and padding available. The rugs look wonderful. The edges which our cat used as a scratching post look like new. The rugs were picked up and delivered right on schedule. The delivery people were professional, pleasant and careful to place each rug where we wanted them.

We had 4 wool area rugs, machine made "orientals," cleaned and repaired. The rugs were from 45 to 30 years old and had undergone heavy use including our cat using the edges for a scatching post. Pixie in the office was very helpful explaining the various types of repairs and padding available. The rugs were picked up, repaired and delivered exactly on our requested schedule. The delivery men were friendly, professional and careful to place the rugs exactly where we wanted them. The rugs look wonderful.

The company was very helpful and professional on the phone, and the gentlemen who picked up the rugs were also very good. My problem was with the results - having not had these particular rugs cleaned before, I was surprised by how "flat" they were upon the return - very clean, but the expensive rugs especially had lost their softness and depth. I also was surprised that the runner, which was not an expensive one, has the edging all along the side loosened and unattractive. I think the cleaning was perhaps more vigorous than I expected or wanted! I would try another rug cleaner the next time I think, or make sure the process was a gentle one befitting authentic Oriental rugs.

The do a fantastic job and all the work is done by hand. The service is very convenient as you can leave the rug outside on the porch for them to pick it up. They also call and let you know when the rug is ready and schedule a delivery and they also wrap the cleaned rug so it is protected and does not get dirty during delivery. They also do not ask for any money up front and take payment on delivery. I highly recommend them and will continue to use them for any rug cleaning and maintenance needs.

I am a realtor and I am always looking for good service providers for my clients when listing and selling their homes. This was the best carpet cleaning job I've ever seen and I thought I had some really good vendors. Hands down best job. Carpet looked like new.

Went as it had done before, with no problems.
