 + -1 moreJohn and his crew, especially Adam and Ed who did most of the work, were outstanding. They were on time and within budget. We had to have more than half of our existing wiring in the house replaced. We were surprised how non-invasive their work was and that they did a decent job of patching behind themselves. They even did a great job installing a wall mounted towel warmer, which involved a little more complicated work than anticipated. John and his guys exceeded our expectations in just about every way and we would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: Complete replacement of remaining knob and tube wiring in 2700 sq ft 1930 house, including a few upgrades and additions as well.

He and his team came to put in recessed lighting in our dining room; he made sure to listen to my requirements, and the finished job looks wonderful. Description of Work: We hired Your Electric Now to install new recessed lighting in several rooms in our home (kitchen, bathroom, hallway, bedroom), along with removing existing track lighting in the kitchen and hallway, replacing an existing ceiling fan in the office, installing pendant lights in the kitchen and replacing an outdoor motion sensor light as well as install a new outlet in our bathroom. John, Adam and another colleague came out and did all of the work in 2 days, they were on time and very professional. John was very easy to schedule the appointment with over the phone and via email, and was very responsive to my emails. After the work was completed, we had an issue with the outdoor motion sensor light not working properly, and John was willing to come back promptly to check it out, and worked with my schedule to find time to come back and replace the unit. We are very happy with their work, and their price, we had gotten 3 estimates for the same work, and Your Electric Now was by far the best price. I would happily recommend them to others.

 + 0 moreI called the owner, John, the night before and explained that we quickly needed to have a new light installed in our foyer because it was very dark at night and impossible to see into the foyer coat closet. We also had two other non-urgent issues needing solutions. John arrived the next morning and quickly installed the foyer light. We also had a recessed ceiling fixture that had become loose and was "drooping" on one side. I expected it would need replacing, but John was able to simply make an adjustment and tighten it back up. We had a vanity light over our sink in which one of the four lights no longer worked. Again, John was able to do a simple repair (reconnecting a wire that had become detached) saving us the expense of a replacement fixture. His quick response and competence were very impressive and I will not hesitate to contact him for future electrical work. I would encourage anyone in the NE Philadelphia/Bucks County area to call John when they need professional electrical work.

They showed up on time, wore shoe coverings when entering the house, covered the rug and furnishings and cleaned up after themselves leaving the two rooms better than when they arrived. . Job the we thought would tKe 8 hours took about 5. When I tipped the two workers john made it clear that it was not necessary. Overall great job and will hire them in the future for the next electrical project

As you can see, we had several projects, all of which came with some difficulties, as our crawlspace and attic space are very small. They wore protective covers on their feet, which we apprecaited since we just had our floors done, and cleaned up after themselves completely (which some contractors don't do!). For the price and the workmanship, we found ourselves a go-to electrician for life. Thanks John!

 + -1 moreWell not good He did not do any work for me. He said my electricity level was not at the level that he could work on it unless I had other work done. I thought well why couldn't he refund my money. He gave me a 6 month contract to come up with the money but I was unable to do so and I lost my $49.00. I wanted outlets installed but he couldn't do it. I only have 2 prong outlets and wanted 3 prong outlets installed. When they put my air conditioner in they installed a 3 prong plug so why couldn't he do it? I fault Angie's list and the contractor that they should have refunded when they stated they couldn't do anything.

 + 0 moreIt turned out wonderful. Everything was fine. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. I handed him the coupon. Over the phone I told him I had it and he was fine with it. He came on time and cleaned up after himself. He was very professional. It didn't take that long. It worked out well. The coupon was for $250 electric project. I think it was a really good idea to have a coupon. I think that's a neat thing that they do. He asked what I wanted to do with the old fixture. I gave him the fixture, I said, "I don't really want it. If he can dispose it." He said, "I'll do that." He was in and out in half hour. He did exactly what I asked him to do. He was here when he said he would be.
Description of Work: He got in, took one chandelier down, put the other one up and was on his way.

The appointment was made for Saturday December 6th between 1 and 3 PM. They arrived early and completed the job in no time. They wore" booties" in the house and cleaned up the areas they worked in. Both men were very courteous and knowledgeable. I would recommend YourElectricNow. As a matter of fact I told the electricians that after the New Year I will give them a call for some other issues I need to take care of.

Installed a proper grounding system. This includes a new cold water ground to the water meter, an 8' galvanized ground rod and bonding of hot and gas pipes.
