They were prompt and did a very good job.

John and his team were very responsive to our needs. After we called PECO and they determined that it wasn't their issue, we contacted Your Electric Now. They arrived on time and were very professional - even putting little bootees over their shoes to protect my floor. They worked for over an hour to diagnose the issue, and when it was determined that it was something that our park office had to handle, John rearranged our circuit panel to get power to our essential areas (computer, fridge, etc.) and he agreed to contact and work together with another set of electricians to resolve the issue. The park electricians came out and poked around. They told me that they were reading full power and that there wasn't anything wrong and we should call John and have him put our circuits back where they belonged. My husband and I both argued with them that there was indeed a problem and that they should talk to John. They left and we were unsure whether or not they would call him. Later that evening, John called us to say that he had been in contact with the park electricians and that he told them exactly what he had done to diagnose the problem and convinced them that the issue was most likely with the underground wiring. If John hadn't called us, we wouldn't have known what was going on. The next day, no less than 10 people showed up in my back yard to completely dig up the wiring. Once dug up, they discovered that one of the wires was bad, and that John was right after all. They replaced both wires and I called John who agreed to come out and put our circuit panel back the way it was (at no extra charge). While there was nothing that John physically could do to resolve the situation, he not only correctly diagnosed the problem and made sure we had power to our essential items, he went above and beyond to see that our problem was solved and that we were restored to full power. I am so happy we had someone on our side who could fight for us!

A representative came to give an estimate on the appointed date and was very professional and friendly. The estimate was ok by me and we agreed to have the work done on the 20th of march. Two of their men came out on the appointed date and did the work. The work done on the inside was very good. I was not too pleased with what was done on the outside. Three holes was made that I thought they should have fixed. I did call one of the numbers that I had and left a message to call me back. I did not get a call back. I was told by some people close to me that usually when this happens I would have to have it fixed on my own. I did get someone to do it for me which cost me an extra $75.00. All in all I did get done what I wanted so I'm pleased with that.

Jim and his helper installed five (5) 5 inch recessed lights in my kitchen ceiling Once in the ceiling he pointed out to me some electrical items that I should correct and I did have him do them They were neat and clean and did the installation in a very efficient manner I also had him install a ceiling fan in my kitchen which I had bought at an earlier date I have already given his name to my neighbor who is starting some work on her house

Work was done quickly, neatly and as proposed. Very nice people to deal with they were polite, neat and punctual.

Everything went as expected. The representative met with me a few days prior to any work being performed. The representative was able to guide me with the layout of the recessed lights and recommended a larger size for the right amount of light. He was even able to replace two units that were no longer functioning as normal. When the workers showed up to perform the work they reaffirmed the work order and the layout configuration. The work was done quickly and cleanly.

I will add that the cost above is discounted significantly as the work they did was part of a promotion they were running on Angie's List. My only complaint is that they arrived about 40 minutes after they were supposed to. In their defense, we had bad weather that morning. The work took longer than they had predicted, which I don't blame them for (I think a quirk about our old house made the work take a bit longer than expected.) Overall, I'm quite satisfied with them and would use Your Electric Now in the future.

John was punctual and completed most of the repair work to the outdoor lamp. He could not detect if the light sensor was working (later I asked another electrician who said shining a flashlight at the 'eye' of the sensor was the test for operation). John said to call him if the light did not go off in the morning and he would return to to fix it. The light stayed on and I made the call to John on 2/12/13. John said he would return my call later as he was driving at the time. On 2/14/13, I called John again to see if and when he was coming to finish the repairs. John insisted that he had left me a message but this message was never on my answering machine. He proceeded to give me an estimate of $ 115.00 for finishing the repair work that had previously been paid for. I dedlined his offer because I felt like I was paying twice for the lamp repair. I told him that I would get someone else to complete the repair. John again called on 2/18/13, the holiday morning, to say that he was available and would come out immediately to complete the work at no-charge. I again declined his offer stating that I no longer trusted him or his work anymore. As a result of John's actions or inactions, I would never use this service again.

They had a deal for Angie's List members to replace an entire circuit breaker back in December. I called them about the deal knowing that I wouldn't be able to schedule the job until after the deal had expired. They told me that was no problem, and came out to do a quick estimate just to make sure the job fit what they expected. I didn't call them to schedule the job until almost 2 months later and they still honored their estimate at the deal price. I was shocked to find that the final invoice price was EXACTLY the estimate. The gentlemen I worked with with perfectly polite and courteous and finished the job in only 2-3 hours.

Story is they came when they said they would. They took time to figure out the problem and correct it. They cleaned up after themselves.

John was very thorough and did an excellent job. He replaced the gfi outlet in our basement as well as the outdoor outlet. He then put a bubble cover over that with cut-outs for the plugs so that it would be protected while in use. We will be using him again to install some recessed lighting in our bathroom, overall we're very happy.

For the past 9 years, since we bought our house, we have lived with and adapted to the fact that we had to leave the switch in one position on the first floor, and just use the upstairs switch to turn the upstairs hallway light on or off. We wanted to be able to turn it on from the first floor, then turn it off from the upstairs hallway. We had put off fixing that for all those years. When I saw the $99 Big Deal for fixing an electrical issue, I decided to remedy the situation. The day after I paid for it, John called me and set up the appointment. He called and confirmed the appointment, and let me know the arrival time. I appreciated the good communication. When John & Ron arrived, it was a rainy day -- they amazed me by putting clean booties over their work boots when walking into my house so as not to track any wet dirt onto my brand new carpeting. They were totally professional and corrected the wiring in about 20 minutes. I was extremely pleased. I would call them again for any electrical needs.

John showed up at my rental property right on time. After I explained the problem, he told me the diagnostic cost up front and immediately got to work. After exploring a few different avenues to diagnose the issue with our switch, John identified the problem and fixed with issue within an hour. He cleaned up his work area when finished. I will definitely use Your Electric now in the future thanks to their promptness, professionalism and cleanliness.

I found Your Electric Now (YEN) on Angie's List as one of the first services I needed for my new house. The one thing in my home inspection that needed immediate attention was the electrical box, which was triple-tapped and a possible danger. I called YEN and spoke with John, who became my contact throughout the entire process. John came out to the house to give me an estimate, taking care to wear protective booties on his shoes when entering the house to make sure not to mess up the floors. We discussed the work that I needed to be done and even figured out how to incorporate an Angie's List Big Deal into the work order. Satisfied with the estimate, we set a date. YEN arrived on time and began work, which was estimated to take one day. Unfortunately, one of the partners was sick and I threw my own curveball that meant a return trip would be needed. No problem. The second outing, things were moving along, but being an older house, there were a few more snags that held up the process. We were going to need a third trip. On the third outing, all the work was completed. Despite taking 3x longer than expected, I wasn't upset, as the YEN crew were a pleasure to have around, very professional, and very considerate of my property. The work they completed was high quality, they even took care to repair any drywall damage they made in installing new outlets. Weeks later, I received a follow up phone call checking in to make sure everything was working fine and if I was experiencing any issues. Everything was fine, no issues at all. I would definitely (and mostly likely will) work with John and the guys at Your Electric Now again.

When John came to provide an estimate he listened to what my husband was looking for and made some good suggestions as to the layout etc. When it was time to to do the work he and his partner got right to it and the basement looks sgnificantly better. The placement of the lighting is great, the old wiring, including some knob and tube, was removed and looks clean and they cleaned up so well afterward that the floor looked better than when they arrived. We will be having them back to add some sensor switches and for some additional rewiring.

JIM PROVIDED THE ESTIMATE AND IT WAS SPOT ON. WE MADE AN APPOITMENT FOR THE WORK TO START BUT THE PERMITTING PROCESS WENT A LITTLE SLOWER THAN EXPECTED SO WE HAD TO RESCHEDULE. THE SECOND APPOINTMENT WAS KEPT AND ALL THREE MEN SHOWED UP. THEY WERE CLEAN WITH THEIR WORK AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. MY WHOLE FAMILY WAS VERY COMFORTABLE WITH ALL THREE MEN. THEY WERE PUNCTUAL AND DID WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Jim from Your Electric Now arrived right on time for the appointment (after calling first to make sure I was ready). From start to finish he was courteous, professional and neat. He was happy to explain what he was doing and why, consulted me about the (few) options that were available within the scope of work, updated me as needed on his progress, and made recommendations and suggestions in response to my questions about the overall electrical system and what might be needed in the future (I already knew there was plenty). This work was done under a fixed-price coupon offer, and at no time did Jim try to push any extra services on me or do anything to bump up the price beyond what I saw was clearly necessary (a new box for the meter which was previously boxed with the old panel), in fact he carried out a couple of small convenience tasks for free. I couldn't ask for more.

Jim was punctual. He was neat in that he took the time and effort to cover his shoes so as to not track dirt into house. He provided a detailed explanation of his generator proposal. He gave a reasonable estimate unlike other generator installers who seem to be taking advantage of the situation in the wake of superstorm sandy. I have not yet decided who I will go with.

I called Your Electric Now because my panel looked old and my service cable was frayed. They came out the same day I called and left me with a quote at that time. They were very personable men and presented themselves very professionally. They came in with shoe covers even though I told them they didn't need to wear them. The day they came out to perform the work, they gave me a call before they came out. They were very knowledgeable and kept me well informed on the whole process. They were finished in about 4 hours. Everything was neat and tidy when they were done. I have already informed my neighbors and co-workers about these gentleman and I will definitely be using them again in the future for recessed lighting in my living room.
