WRIGHTWAY GENERAL CONTRACTORS

Wrightway was hired by the seller of my home to repair termite damage. They sistered 7 joists and replaced a portion of the hardwood floor. The work appeared satisfactory. However, once I moved into the home I discovered additional areas that should have been repaired. After negotiations with the seller they agreed to pay for Wrightway to come back and finish the job. After canceling on me once, I finally met with Dave Wright, Owner, regarding the work to be done. He assured me the damaged spots would be properly repaired the second time around. However, Wrightway replaced the additional portions of the floor with no consideration of the floors final appearance. Although the floor was now safe to walk on, the replacement boards were not aligned with the existing boards and many of the new boards were not nailed down at all. Since he was being paid by the seller, Dave Wright knew he would be paid for the job regardless of the quality in which it was performed and this fact showed.

The crew did an excellent job, price wise. Wrightway's estimate came in substantially below the other company I was considering, and came with a great recommendation from another client. Work took a bit longer than I think was projected. Crew was professional and meticulous about getting everything right;I felt secure letting them into my house and having them lock up when they were done for the day. They cleaned up as they went, called if they weren't coming because of bad weather, showed up on time (sometimes early!). Overall, I was very pleased and have received compliments, not only from my neighbors, but also other contractors (deck painter, roofer) on quality of the work.
