Jim responded promptly to my initial request for an estimate on some work. He called me and left a message stating that he was in my area and that he would drop off some information about the company and take a few pictures of the house then we could discuss what I wanted done. When I called him back and told him what I needed he basically said in a nutshell that the job was too small. He never gave me an estimate for the job. He said that they are a big company and can not be competitive. I took that to mean that the job was too small and the cost to do the work was not worth his time or manpower. Although I appreciate his honesty, he should state on his advertisement that he does not do small jobs. He said that he does not do repair work. If you are a roofing and siding company then you should do repair work also. The bottom line is the job was not big enough for him. If you have a small job and need repair work then I guess this company is not the right company for you. I gave this company an overall rating of C because I think that you should be upfront if there is a bottom line as far as price is concerned in order to do the work. I would not have even contacted him had I know in advance that he does not do small jobs or repair work.

I would use them again in future if needed.

They were prompt and did lovely work - above and beyond. They did leave a pile of rubble in the corner of the garage where they had run the electric line. I called about it and they sent out a guy right away. He not only cleaned up the rubble, but mixed up some concrete and sealed the whole area from the line to the ceiling of the garage where it was crumbling. He even carried off some construction trash that had been left by another company.

I had three different roofers come a provide estimates for work - I chose We Care for a number of reasons - mainly responsiveness (they answer their phone when I call and were willing to work around my schedule). They went on the roof and provided a video of the analysis (which is huge for me, being I need to see exactly what the problem is, no other roofers provided that) and we had a detailed discussion of different repair options. Being it was a rental property, they asked me to be put in touch with my tenants to keep them abreast of when repairs would be made, even though it wasn't necessary to enter the property. Once the work was complete, they provided another video of the finished work so I could see for myself. 15-year guarantee provided on all work. Jim W. (owner) was a pleasure to work with, knowledgable and professional. I have had the same exact issue on 3 different properties (design flaw in the houses in this neighborhood), so I have extensive experience with roofers. We Care is the only company I will definitely recommend and plan to use again in the future. Glad to have finally found a great company! Thank you We Care!

We Care did an excellent job, even better than expected. From start to finish professional, reliable and walked us through everything. Particularly grateful for the choice in siding they recommended, since we never would have thought of it on our own. Will definitely hire again for future jobs.

I got the number for We Care Free Estimates.com, Inc. from my neighbor who uses Angie's List. They have reasonable pricing. They filmed everything so you could see exactly what they took off and put on. They filmed their work. I have never seen anybody doing that and then they give you the tape. I most certainly use them again. They were very good and cleaned up everything, you know, all the debris and took everything away, so they were excellent. I don't know if people use them, but I would definitely recommend them.

I needed some cement repaired in front of my home after a tree had been removed. I e-mailed We Care on a Sunday and I received a call back from the owner, Jim, on Monday. He was very polite and helpful. After evaluating the work that I needed to have done, Jim was honest and let me know that he didn't have the necessary equipment to remove the tree root that was left behind. But he did give me some good advice on some alternative options. He also left me with information regarding other services that he and his crew provides. Although he wasn't able to help me on this project, Jim was so helpful that I would definitely call him if I need any of the services that he provides.

That went well. I was happy with the experience. It took a little longer than they said but the quality of the work was great. The price was pretty fair because I checked others. The first day he was late. I would definitely use him again.

We were extremely impressed by the service provided by We Care. From the initial consultation, they were professional, courteous, punctual, and extremely honest. Unlike other contractors that we contacted, they listened to our needs and did not attempt to push unnecessary services on us. we care contractors are the greatest! I will recommend them to everybody. Big Jim, Jim and Ron were the best I felt like I had family members doing my work . they were so warm and friendly. we Care came when they said they would, called when they said they would, and did everything they said they would do and extra too. I have an old south phila row and putting in new windows is always a challenge . We care did the best job ever. the windows and trim match up seemlessly I am so happy with this job. Jim W. and his team are the most competent and reliable contractors out there. They are highly skilled and they know exactly what they're doing. I do like the video aspect where you can trace your job all the way through. They went above and beyond what they set out to do on the job. Each and every crew member - Ed, Ron, Pete, and Jim's sons Jason and James Jr. all take pride in their work. We bought lights for them to replace, and when they found out that one was broken during installation, they went to the store and exchanged it without us even having to get involved. They even let our appraiser in and scheduled around the appointment because we couldn't be home. For someone who doesn't have time to manage their project, contractors like these are a god send because they will make sure things get done right so you don't have to. Some additional good things about them: They are communicative (they called me every day - some times multiple times a day) and accommodated all our needs - they tried to keep our house clean as they went in and out. They were even nice to our neighbors so the work being done our house was not a nuisance to the neighborhood. I read one of the reviewers say that they provided an inflated quote. We Care guys are not cheap - but you get what you pay for. Jim W. and his team provide excellent customer service, attention to detail, years of experience and best of all is they are really good at what they do. They make sure you get your money's worth and more. We are already having them quote our next project.

Jim W is a true gem. He is a professional--knowledgeable, customer oriented, and skilled. His response to our emergency was all and more than we could have hoped to get. The window is a quality product, well installed. The site was thoroughly cleaned. Jim kept in touch every step of the way. He called several times to report progress. I am from out of town, and I felt I had really hit the jackpot in finding Jim and his sons at WE Care Free Estimates. I highly recommend their services.

From start to finish, excellent work and excellent responsiveness and professionalism. Free estimate came quickly. Big Jim sat with me in my house and explained what his team would do in detail so I had an exact idea of the problem and the solution he was proposing. He showed me DVD footage of my own roof and walked me through each issue. They followed up as promptly as possible and provided DVD footage of the work afterwards, prompt billing and recording of the job. All in all, I am grateful.

I should have had each door itemized separately,because the company was unable to repair the one door. Jim and I had to renegotiate the price as a result of this.

Very professional, upfront, and no sales pressure. Clearly laid out options, explaining all steps beforehand, and the DVD before the estimate to show areas being discussed is a brilliant idea. The guys performing the work were very professional punctual, and clean, and did excellent work. Everything began and ended according to schedule. I could not be more satisfied with their work, and will refer others to them without hesitation.

I was extremely pleased with the project from start to finish---- starting with the initial project review and estimate (performed by Jim, the owner) , the installation performed by Ron and his assistant , and the final inspection and clean-up. Everyone was punctual, professional, and great to work with. All of our questions were thoroughly answered. I definitely will use again and recommend consideration of their services ,if needed.

I got more than three bids on the job. Some of the other bids were double what We Care quoted, others were fairly close but We Care provided the lowest bid.. Normally I would be leery of going with the lowest bidder but In addition to offering the lowest price We Care was also the most impressive to deal with. Jim from We Care provided a detailed estimate. I've built a few decks and knew what to look for and Jim was very agreeable to tweaking his proposal to provide more detail so that I could be comfortable that everything that I expected would be included. Jim promised to document the entire process and E-mailed pictures daily to keep me informed of their progress. They cleaned up very well after the demolition and knew enough not to re-attach the new porch roof to the neighboring row homes whose roofs were also rotting. They asked for three payments as work progressed with the final third due when the job was completed. They accepted credit card payments which ensured that I had a recourse if work wasn't completed properly. They completed the work in less than a week so the payments came pretty quickly. In the end they provided a full packet that included a receipts for each stage of work completed (in addition to ones they E-mailed), information on other types of work that they are able to provide, and a DVD Video of the entire process from demolition through final construction! After beginning work, Jim offered to include gutter guards at no cost to protect against leaves from trees across the street. Some of Jim's team went back the day after receiving final payment to install them. When I inspected the job the attention to detail was remarkable and I think based upon the way it looks that there's a good chance it increased the property value or at least my ability to sell the property quickly. I plan to have Jim and his team provide a quote on a few flat roofs that need attention on other properties. Get multiple quotes but you owe it to yourself to have We Care be one of the bidders.

I've been dealing with them a couple years. It is a good contract. He follows through on his word.

I'd like to apologize to Jim, the owner, for not being able to go through with the project, but due to other projects with our primary contractor and lack of funds, we had to cancel the work. Jim is a real like-able guy, and true professional. He came over the day after I called, walked through the work, took photos and a video, and gave me an informational packet. I was really excited to complete the work, until I realized we needed to use the funds on another portion of our renovation project. Even though services weren't performed, if his work looks as good as his proposal sounds, then you will be very very happy. Very professional guy and hopefully we will be using him for a future project (once we get the funds!).

Our basement utility room walls were in really bad condition, in desperate need of resurfacing. We were having our entire HVAC system replaced. The contractor doing that work removed the old furnace and gave us about a week to get the wall resurfacing work done before they came back to install the new system. At first we thought we could resurface the walls ourselves. Not! So on the 2nd day of that week, we decided we needed a pro. I searched Angie's List and found We Care. I called and talked to the owner, Jim, in the evening, explaining the situation and our timing needs. He came out the next morning to give us an estimate. We felt that the estimate he gave us was fair and he said his crew (his sons, I believe) could start the next day, so we gave him the job. His crew showed up on time the following morning and got to work. Before the work on the walls could be started, they had to move the washer & dryer and a very large, heavy professional toolbox away from the walls. The job took 2 days to finish and the things that were moved where put back in place when they were done. Jim's son did have to come back another day to do a few finishing touches. The walls were finished and the space was ready for the HVAC contractor on schedule. Jim was in touch regularly from start to finish. He was very attentive and responsive. We are very pleased with the results. Looks like a completely new room! And we were very pleased that We Care could accommodate our timing needs with no advance notice. I would hire them again.

I ended up having someone do it for $150.00. [Estimate cost $1,400.00]

Mr. Weigold was in contact, continually throughout the project, by phone, by e-mail, or in-person. Because of the impending weather, he actually moved up the start date, and the project was completed ASAP as weather permitted. Mr. Weigold and the on-site employees were professional, punctual and polite. The on-site employees were organized, experienced and knowledgeable, and worked quickly and efficiently. Mr. Weigold was considerate and respectful of the circumstances at the time of the project (property access, death in the family). I was provided several DVD's that documented the initial condition of the roof, the progress during the project, and the roof's condition at completion. I am more than satisfied with the results. "We Care" is a reputable company; Mr. Weigold is a man of integrity. I would recommend "We Care" and would certainly use them again.
