They were punctual, worked hard all day, serviced the door very quickly after it had settled a bit and we found some air flow (no more problems). Big Jim even showed us that we could save some money by waiting until after year-end and buying an overstock door from the factory, which we are now in the process of doing. We are highly satisfied, feel we got excellent value for our money, and are looking forward to having a new, airtight front door as well. Quality of workmanship was excellent; the door quality I think is more a middle quality in terms of appearance, but perfect for a starter home like ours. By that I mean we can see the patches covering the screw holes on the trim. However, the door is solid, safe, and well-insulated. The storm door with screen and self-storing glass is excellent. UPDATE: We have been so thrilled with the back door that we had We Care replace our front door this spring (which was drafty and had nearly paper-thin glass, a security risk) as well. As before, they were prompt, worked quickly, quoted a fair price, and we have a new door we love. VERY happy with the results of both projects.

The contractor arrived quickly to provide an estimate and was helpful & friendly. The work was started when discussed and completed timely, as also discussed. The actually price was just as discussed. The contractor called regarding my satisfaction after job completion.

Jim and his crew were awesome. The process was very challenging due to the house being so old and in dyer need of repair. From beginning to end, jim was in constant communication about the project. They stand by their work and they did an incredible job. I can't say enough about this company. I look forward to using them again for additional home repairs as I know it will be done right. I am so grateful for finding them.

They came out and really worked hard to provide the best work and customer service. The crew came on time and the job was very time consuming but they worked really hard to get the job done. The owner, Jim was involved with getting me the best price and product from start to finish. Jim made the whole process very comfortable and stress free. We had a leak in our kitchen ceiling that has gotten progressively worse and was terrible when hurricane Sandy came through. Jim and his son came and sealed a crack under our bathroom window for free and explained the source of the leak was the installation of the window. We'll have to wait and see if the work they performed the next time it's windy and rainy but Jim and his son did the job for free and let us know they'd come back if anything is still problematic for us! It was a great overall experience! Highly recommended!

One's public perception depends ultimately on one's self-presentation. The first self-presentation by the owner/president of We Care Contractors was so highly professional that we developed an immediate sence of confidence in the company's ability to perform the renovation of our property. We have had a long water damage on our porch. Because of the conditions of our non insulated walls and windows, our house was not energy efficient. We sat down with the owner and president of the company, in our first appointment, he discussed in detail how the company will handle the construction procedures. He has his own working crews and material suppliers. And finally he gave a time schedule for the project. He appointed a project manager that actually supplied shop drawing of the continuos sun room windows that we both agreed would be the best design for the porch. When the construction finally started, he, project manager stopped by everyday to see the progress of the highly efficient and highly professional tradesmen. He changes, suggests better methods to improve construction on site. .Everyday, the owner /president came to document on video the progress of the work. In the process of construction there were so many little and major works that were not anticipated, these were added without additional charges to the contract. The various working trades working on all aspects of the construction are highly experienced artisans, like artists, i have observed them stand back to visually look at what they are doing not withstanding they have checked and re-checked their lines with plumbs. Our house being an old house has settled to an irregular off center building. These professionals took the time and pride to straighten the mess time has created. The clean up after each day's work was meticulous. Nothing was left for us to clean up after they have completed the job and left. The project was completed on schedule. We were quite pleased with the results, and not surprisingly, We Care company was also quite pleased with their work. They have the CD and pictures to support this fact.

The job was completed timely and professionally. Jim was in constant communication with us during the entire process. Jim made helpful suggestions and patiently waited for my wife and I to decide on how we wanted to proceed. Jim made video recordings throughout the process and presented us with a complete DVD of the job upon completion. Every employee we interacted with was a true professional. They showed up on time, worked diligently, cleaned up the work area and were always pleasant and happy to answer any questions we had. The team removed the debris left by the accident. Jim was able to obtain a beautiful door for us that we were hesitant about but are glad we listened to his advise. The team poured new concrete, built a new pillar and installed future rock on the front of the house, which was another of Jim's suggestions that we are so happy we followed. Jim's team also completed some maintenance issues that Jim pointed out to us when he did his site survey to work up his quote. I can honestly state that I have never had as positive an experience with any contractor or repair company in my life. We have received many compliments from our neighbors about how great the house looks. One of our neighbors asked for We Care's number while the job was in progress. I would recommend this company without hesitation or reservation. We plan on using them again when we are ready to redo our roof and install a new back door.

They have good follow up, and always make sure I am satisfied with the work. They also have a good guarantee.

Jim and his team provided excellent service. I contacted Jim, and after an email exchange, sent him some photos of the work that needed completion. He responded rapidly, and set up a time to meet us at our house. He videotaped the entire walkthrough, offering suggestions on what might be causing the leak, and said he'd send an estimate, which he did. We approved the estimate, and his team got to work. They redid a portion of our roof, cut a new eaves box, and replaced the windows right away. All of that work was excellent, and rapid. At one point, when they cut into the eaves box, a great deal of white finish from the upper roof spilled down to a lower roof, which went un-noticed until I got home. When I called about it, he had a team over the next day to repaint the whole lower roof. The windows were perfect, and the leak seemed fixed - until the next big storm. When it started again, Jim didn't hesitate - he sent his team right back out, we took a careful look, my wife spotted some wetness inside the wall on the side where repairs hadn't been done, and without a second thought, Jim sent his guys back the next day to attack that side of the roof. It's a year later. No leaks. And I've contacted Jim to do more work on the house. Excellent service!

I requested an estimate for a complete stucco replacement due to a number of cracks in the stucco on the rear of my house. Big Jim came over and told me that my problem was not, in fact, the stucco, but the water flowing down the outside of my house, freezing behind the stucco, and hence cracking it. Big Jim came over twice (and sent his son over once) during the estimate phase. They both videotaped all the problems they saw and later showed the tapes to me. They even cleaned out my gutters while they were putting together the estimate! Jim patiently answered all of my questions and explained all of the work he was planning in a way that I could understand it. They provided me an estimate with multiple options and allowed me to choose exactly what work I wanted to do at that time. The estimate seemed a bit high, but I went ahead with the work due to the extremely positive reviews here. The work was completed 3 weeks later (after the door was ordered and delivered). It took 2 days in all (1 day less than he said it would). They threw in a bunch of extras at no cost, and even aligned my front door (completely unrelated to the project) for free. All of the work seems very well done. I got everything I paid for and more, everyone I had contact with was friendly, professional, and courteous. They even had treats for my dog! I would absolutely hire We Care again for this type of work.

We Care Guaranteed Home Remodeling were masters at doing the window work and the bump-out was fine and it works for the air conditioning guys. A lot of these air conditioning require a skilled carpenter to work with them and it worked out great. They cleaned up well and they did not goof up or anything. The carpenters were great. They came out when they said they would both for the estimates and the work. The boss stopped by a few times; he is really knowledgeable and he knows what he is talking about. You could tell that they were real carpenters and not just guys with a trunk full of tools. I was really impressed with the quality. And like I said, the boss is really good about returning calls.

Jim Weigold, the owner, came out looked at everything that I needed to have done and gave me an estimate. We set a start date, which they honored. The first day they installed the 2 windows and the transom window over the back door with all of the capping done. On the second day they completed the rest of the work. Everything was cleaned up. I am very happy with their work, the house looks beautiful. What a difference the new windows make. I am very pleased with the job they did putting the AC over the window, this allows me to open the window. Jim has kept in contact with me to be sure that I was pleased with everything.

He presented his case well. He was informative. The cost is much more than what I expected for a door. I sent an email to his organization, and I never heard back from them. In my email I suggested where they might be able to adjust some things because I even took out the glass part of the door thinking that would knock off something but I never heard back.

They went above and beyond in their work. This is one of the most beautiful jobs I have seen. He had an audience to see the work he had performed. I am very pleased and happy with the work they did. They had a crew come out for a week and a half. They are extremely fair in price. They have done a magnificent job on my property. They bring a computer with recent jobs done in the past, and the consumer has the chance to review prior work before the decision is made. They record all of their work and treated the home as if it was their own. I would recommend them to anyone.

The job started when he said it would and was finished when he said it would be finished. The workmanship and professionalism of his employees cannot be surpassed. I’m not only a homeowner but a Realtor as well. In my years of owning and selling real estate I have never seen such level of professionalism and workmanship, they went beyond what was expected, they even replaced a rotted wall we didn't know was rotted and and a few other things at no extra charge. if I could give We Care more than an A I would. They were very prompt and came when they said they would and they also did the job was quickly, which was nice. They did a good job of cleaning up after themselves, too. If there are any problems after the work, they come back to fix any problems for up to 4 years.

I received estimates from several contractors before setting on We Care, mainly because their excellent reviews on Angie's List. The owner, Jim W, got back to me very quickly. Within a day someone had been by my house to examine the roof. I needed to replace/repair the roof. I was beginning to experience some leaks in a window and wall water damage, which were ultimately roof-related. I met with Jim W and he showed me a very informative DVD of the roof inspection. What convinced my to go with We Care over others, even though they were the most expensive, was the attention to detail and more comprehensive understanding of all the problems at hand. For example, several contractors did not recommend replacing the downspout, or even cleaning it out. Jim W and his crew were able to pinpoint all of the damage the clogged downspout was doing and were able to diagnose damage from ice damming from before I purchased the house. Once we settled on a contract, the We Care crew arrived on time and completed the project on schedule. They left the work site very clean. I met with foreman, Justin, and was impressed. The the crew was very courteous and willing to explain any issues I had. I had some strong storms since and no more leaks so far. The DVDs are a nice touch as you can see a before and after picture of the job and what was accomplished. Overall, I'd highly recommend We Care. They are not cheap, but they are pleasure to deal with, use high-quality materials and appear very meticulous in their workmanship.

The wall facing our rooftop deck had been a source of consternation since we bought our house. Water was constantly getting into the wall and dripping down to a second-floor closet. After replacing the door to the deck, the leak was abated somewhat, but most of the water was entering through the old storm window, which was mounted underneath the stucco. The previous owners had put a new vinyl window underneath the storm window, making it a complex job to remove and replace the whole deal, so we called in professionals.I chose We Care because of their stellar reviews here, particularly one which mentioned that they performed work with stucco in a situation that sounded a lot like our own. I had called a number of other window companies on Angie's List, and none were interested in coming out to replace just one window, but the folks at We Care were happy to do so.Jim, the owner and estimator, gave me a call a day or two later to set up an appointment (he's the only one who does estimates, so there was a bit of a backup). He came out and estimated the job at $1190 (including the stucco work and additional framing for the door) and gave a rough estimate of when they would be by. It was roughly a two week wait, since the windows are all built to size in a local factory.The contractors came when expected; they even threw an extra guy on the job because the window was on the third floor and they would have spent forever carrying things up and down the stairs otherwise (there is no way to come directly up the back in our house). They put down dropcloths everywhere to keep the dirt off and accomplished the task very quickly. They even replaced a number of the supporting 2x4s underneath the window frame because they had been so damaged by nearly 20 years of water and carpenter ant damage.The work is good quality and precise; the new frame stuck out exactly half an inch from the wall framing, so the half-inch drywall we put in is perfectly flush. The framing itself is very solid, and the new window is a lot nicer than the builder-grade one it replaced. The new window includes a new outer sill (replacing the old storm window, which they had to cut out of the stucco). Their stucco surgery was also very neat and precise; the (slightly) ragged edge is completely concealed by the outer frame, which is well-capped. We've had quite a few heavy rains since the replacement and I've seen no water come in. They also sprayed the old wood underneath with a mold-killing agent for good measure.After the job was done (several hours before I thought it would be), they cleaned up very well. I think the inside room was actually cleaner than when they got there.In all, I'm very happy with the job We Care did, and will be contacting them when our budget permits to replace our downstairs doors as well. The price they quoted was slightly more than I anticipated, but a) it included the framing around the door, which I hadn't planned on doing then but was quite an appealing price to add on in parallel, and b) a quality job is worth some extra money, especially when it comes to water-intrusion issues. The amount I paid is commensurate with the quality of the work, and I'd happily do the same again.

They did an excellent job. I liked the crew and how they presented themselves. The owner checked up to make sure everything was satisfactory to me. They communicated well, to let us know when they were coming and to make sure it would work with us. I would recommend them and will use them again.

A second floor roof deck, which also acts as a roof over a bedroom, was cracking and leaking into the room below. We called We Care and received a call back from Jim W, that same day. We mentioned we typically come home late from work and they were able to have someone come out to look at the deck on our schedule. Jim also passed by earlier that day and there was a packet of info waiting for me when I got home. Jim?s Son, also named Jim, came by and looked at the roof and gave me an idea of what they could do. To point out, we had a rolled fiberglass roof, which we found not many roofers deal with. What Jim mentioned as the best option was redoing the roof with rubber roofing, and then building what is called a "floating deck" over it. Jim explained that a "floating deck" is a deck that sits on the roof material but doesn?t press into it due to an even distribution of the force on the roof as it lays over and is nailed to other pieces of wood that have ridges. Jim also came and showed us a DVD of what he was proposing for the deck. He showed us the similar work he did at another house and how the finished product should look. We deliberated over it and since we liked what we saw and agreed to the work. Jim let me know his guys can start the next day, which they did. The finished product is exactly what we wanted. Jim kept me in the loop on a daily basis and listened and responded to any questions or concerns I had. Deciding on getting the "floating deck" was difficult because it was not work we were expecting to get (we simply wanted to repair the leak, not planning on replacing it with another type of deck). However, the fact the We Care tapes each job they complete so that the customer is able to see what gets completed daily, really allowed us to trust We Care, and the work that they would be completing. We care delivered a great deck, and although it was not what we originally planned for, we are excited with the final outcome (so far no leak issues, and I hope this is the case for years to come). We Care also put drylok on the side walls separating our rook deck from our neighbors, and covered the borders of our french doors with plastic borders. We will definitely keep them in mind for future work. Pros: 1. They were always prompt with responses. At no time when I called, did I go more than a a few hours without a response. They went out of there way to work around my schedule and showed up when they said they would.2. Daily updates of their work. Jim called me daily after the work was done to let me know what was done and what changes were made. If I had a concern he would let me know the resolution or find out and inform me of the resolution.3. Professional Staff. I met Jim W and his son Jim and they could not have been any more polite! We saw the men he hired on occasion as we left for work, and when they showed up they went straight to work. I never saw an unwanted mess and nothing was or seemed damaged in any of the process.4. They make a DVD of all the work they do; from start to finish! The DVD shows the area before the work and then the area after for each stage of the process.We watched it and it does seem pretty comprehensive to the point that we do feel comfortable that the work is quality. We highly recommend We Care! Please see the before and after pictures below (Note: we plan on staining the deck ourselves and may post those pictures after its complete)

Everything was great, They did everything they said they were going to do. The owner was very involved and he always called and told us everything that was happening and would talk to us. Their prices to me were fair.
