Two years ago, we had called Vincent Goffredo to fix a leak in our dishwasher because they were the closest plumber to our house. After joining Angie's List this year, we were thrilled to see that they were also so highly-rated! When I called to schedule the appointment for them to come install the garbage disposal, they made sure to confirm in advance whether or not they'd need to bring a dishwasher connector (I had bought one, but I was glad they'd asked!). When it seemed like the disposal might not fit under the sink, they asked permission to rearrange some of the below-sink plumbing if it became necessary. All in all, the installation barely took an hour. I would gladly hire Vincent Goffredo Plumbing again.

All activities related to this remove and install were exactly as described. Very efficient and professional. 5th time user of this contractor and each time as good as this, never disappointed.

It was a great experience. The company has been my family's plumbers for more than 30 years. As the home's newest owner, I was frantic when I noticed a large stain spreading across the dining room ceiling. I called the company and explained the problem with my leaking toilet. Eric, the owner, called back and told me how to close the shut-off valve. He explained that he would check to see who was in my area and would send them over as soon as they completed their job. They came, inspected, and did the work. Needless to say, Goffredo Plumbing will be my plumbing company, too! Also, I can vouch for a bathroom makeover done in the mid-1970s that still looks great as well as for a water heater installation (2000) and a sump pump installation (2010). Dependable, excellent workmanship, and great customer service - can't ask for more!

My husband and son tried to fix a leaking pipe under the kitchen sink and couldn't. I called my regular plumber and he never called back after two calls and three days, so I called Goffredo. They called back right away, and they came out that same day. They also fixed the pipe in under 15 minutes. They did a great job, with no drama whatsoever. Will I call them again? Absolutely!!!!

We bought a house in October and it had several plumbing needs. Got an estimate from a plumber recommended by my realtor but was very unimpressed with him, plus he took about a week to give me an estimate. I called Goffredo plumbing based on the AL reviews and spoke with Eric who could not have been more accommodating. When he came to do the estimate I was having the countertops replaced and there was an issue with the existing dishwasher.... Eric jumped in and started helping (during the walk through for the estimate!) which was totally not necessary since we hadn't even hired him yet. Then, due to some issues with that dishwasher it actually needed to be disconnected prior to the countertop installation so Eric called a few employees to come take care of it (again, this was all prior to even completing the estimate). Two guys showed up at the house about 30 minutes later, fixed the problem and carried the dishwasher all the way out to the garage so it was out of the way. I was pretty blown away by the level of customer service. Needless to say, I went with Goffredo for my plumbing needs (they were a little higher than the other estimate but I'd much rather pay a little more for good, professional service so I didn't mind at all). Two employees came out and were extremely fast, effective, and very courteous. They completed everything we wanted, I couldn't be happier. I will definitely use Goffredo for all future plumbing needs, great customer service, great work.

Vincent Goffredo Plumbing put in a new water line that ran from my kitchen sink to refrigerator to provide water for the Ice Maker. At the time I thought they had done a good job. A month and a half later the line burst while I was at work, severely flooding my kitchen and basement below. Long story short they did not back their work at all, or show any concern for my flooded house. I turned off the water to the house and called them around 6PM. They use an after-hours phone service that is terrible and Eric does not provide his number for a reason. When he finally did call back, he was vague and defensive, already telling us he was not responsible before even hearing the story, looking at our past invoice, or seeing the damage. Then he started telling us how to file a homeowner?s insurance claim. He refused to come out that night and promised to call back the next morning to schedule to come out that day. It?s about 2 PM now and hasn?t called or returned our calls. I would highly recommend you not use this company!!! They do not back their work, and Eric who I believe is the boss or owner, showed absolutely no sense of concern when their failed work flooded my house. Completely unacceptable for a plumber. I now need to find another emergency plumber as well as have someone come out and gauge the water damage. You are asking for trouble using Vincent Goffredo Plumbing.

He came the same day I called, worked on it for about 45 minutes, and I wasn't charged, since they had done the installation themselves. I have used Goffredo Plumbing for 10 years and always been very happy with their service-- efficient, friendly, reliable.

Eric came over to give us an estimate for the work. He was prompt,courteous and friendly.I hired his company to do the work and the day of the repairs his crew arrived on time.Matt and Frank were professional, did a great job, and cleaned up when finished .I hired them to come back the following week and install the bathtub faucets and showerhead. Danny and Luke also arrived at the time scheduled and they also did a wonderful job.We are very pleased with this company and will definately hire them again!

This happened on the Sat. of Labor Day weekend and we got a call back asking how bad the problem was. I was then told what the price would be for Sunday and Holiday. I really liked the up front style of business. We both agreed that the Tuesday would be OK and the gentleman that came out was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Eric and his team are the nicest people you'll ever meet. They are prompt. They are courteous. They are helpful. They gave me the best price. They used the right materials. I couldn't be happier. I love Angie's List, too. I would never, ever have thought to call Goffredo, but I'm so glad that I did. Wow. I earned back my $8.99 annual fee with my first job. Eric's price to repair the leak was $350. I had prices of $450 and $617 (!) from other plumbers that I've used before (who are also top rated and on Angie's List). This has been the best experience. I've told all my neighbors.

Eric and his team responded within one hour of my calling in the leak in the hotwater heater on a Sunday. the work was scheduled for the next day and was completed within the day. I have used Goffredo in the past at my son's house as well as at my mother's house and the results are always the same. They are prompt, efficient and professional on every level. I was fixing my kitchen faucet over the weekend & had to shut off the water under the sink. Everything was fine until I tried to turn the hot water back on. The knob just kept on turning. Needless to say the knob was stripped. (They were the old wheel turn style). I looked on Angie's List for a reputable plumber & saw that Vincent Goffredo Plumbing had great reviews. I called & left a message. I received a call back & they were able to come out on the same day! Luke called me to let me know that he was on his way. He showed up & replaced both valves within an hour! I felt bad because the space under the kitchen sink was limited. He assured me that he was in smaller spaces before. Luke was very courteous and cleaned up after as well. I now had hot water in my kitchen again!!!

We woke up to find a leak in the drywall in the room below our bathroom. Having no idea what was leaking in the bathroom as the bathroom itself looked and functioned fine, we had no idea what to do. The plumber was really helpful in helping us investigate over the phone and when it seemed that we really would need professional help, sent someone out that day. The plumber investigated the whole bathroom, found the problem, explained exactly what went wrong and fixed it all that day. Price was completely reasonable. Everyone we dealt with was very helpful and we were very, very happy with their work. Would definitely use them again.

On a Sunday afternoon in August, I discovered a basement pipe had sprung a serious leak. It wasn't in a place where I could fit a bucket under the dripping water and within an hour, the towels I had placed under it were soaked. Not something that could wait until Monday morning - which was when a few plumbers I called told me was the earliest they could come out despite their claims of 24 hr emergency service - without causing a huge mess in the basement. Goffredo Plumbing had someone at my house within 2 hours of my call to them. The pipe was repaired and a big problem, as well as a missed day of work, were averted. The plumber who did the repair was terrific: professional, communicative, reassuring. For an emergency service call I found the price quite reasonable.

It was an emergency that happened the night before Mother's Day. Our in-sink garbage disposal backed up and leaked everywhere. We called and were able to speak with a plumber in 30 minutes. They were able to accommodate us first thing the next morning even though it was a Sunday and Mother's Day!! They installed a new disposal and were in and out in less than an hour. They were courteous, professional, and exceptionally helpful. We've used them in the past for some other minor jobs and their plumbers have always been a pleasure to deal with. We will use them for all of our plumbing needs in the future.

Our problem started when we tried to replace the bathtub knobs ourselves, and found that one of the faucet seats was stripped. Since we couldn't get it out, the main body of the faucet might have needed replacing. They came out on Monday in the early afternoon, which was exactly when they said they would. Both workmen were very professional and friendly. As they worked, they explained details of the problem and what needed to be done for it. They first tried to extract the stripped seat, which they were able to do. This saved us from having a lot more work done by them replacing the entire faucet. They quickly removed the other faucets and installed the new knobs. Though it wasn't part of the original work request, they also looked at a leaking drain in a sink. They explained what was wrong with the original pipe installation and quickly replaced the drain trap pipes. They cleaned up the work areas well in both rooms, and they completed the work very quickly. Also, the bill was extremely reasonable. I'd definitely use them again, and recommend them to other folks with plumbing needs! Very professional.

The toilet no longer runs and the work was done quickly and well. The plumber was friendly, patient, and courteous.

When I called for the appointment, I had a very good interaction, and when Eric called me back, again a very good conversation. The guys showed up exactly on time, which I apprecaited, as I had to come home from work to meet them. The only concern that I have is that they did not have ID, and I didn't know ahead of time who was going to be coming to the house. My suggestion is that either someone calls or emails ahead to tell you who will be showing up at the house (sometimes I have gotten emails with the name and a photo of the technician) or that the guys carry ID from their company. They were super quick and efficeient, they were neat and very clear about options and very friendly. Would definitely recommend and will use them again! Thanks very much.

I just bought a new home, which came with a 16 year old water heater. I was concerned about having issues with it and wanted to quickly replace it after moving in. When I called Goffredo, they quickly called me back, answered my questions, and provided an estimate that was quite reasonable compared to the other vendors I had looked at. They were very responsive and able to quickly schedule me to have my water heater replaced. The crew of two arrived on time and was in and out very quickly. Given their price, timeliness, and quality, I would recommend them.

Simply Fantastic! Since I had moved out of the house, I was able to provide them with the keycode for the door. They were able to repair the issues without incident and with extreme professionalism.

I have used this company before and have always been delighted with the excellent service they provide. Dan, who usually is the one who does the work, is very friendly, punctual, and businesslike. He and his assistant arrived as scheduled and were able to complete the work quickly and neatly. Their willingness to schedule a time that worked for me, and to complete the job on a timely basis, is a big plus as it limited my time off from work. They were able to change the spigot without having to cut into the wall of the room behind it for access, saving me the cost of drywall repair. Really, I would recommend this company unreservedly.
