Description of Work: They called right away to schedule an appointment. They arrived on time. Those are the only two positive comments. I have a leak in a ceiling which is below a bathroom. He cut a hole in the ceiling, looked around with a flashlight, advised he did not see what the problem was, ran the water in the shower, and advised he still did not see what the problem was. He had no moisture detecting equipment or anything besides a flashlight. I then received a bill for $150.00. I would not recommend this company

Description of Work: They balanced all the radiators in the house. They hadn't been taken care of for 20 years. It took over an hour and a lot of basement-to-third floor back-and-forth. Now the house is warmer and the bills are down. We have used them various other times and always been happy.

Description of Work: Eric Kassab was a lifesaver! I was out of town and needed help doing a renovation to sell a property in Philly. He coordinated the whole project including finding me other workers to do electric and other services. He is always punctual, reliable and trustworthy. They cost a bit more, but they are worth.

Description of Work: Removed old gas HW heater, replaced with new one of same make and capacity. The estimate given over the phone was right on, Angie's List coupon was honored, everything went smoothly in the first visit. Installers brought all the right supplies and tools to make everything work the first time, and they were timely, tidy, and they explained the operation of the new equipment well. Will certainly call Goffredo again for any work to be performed in the future and have already recommended to my neighbors. Reason why I chose this company is because Eric was very professional over the phone; I told him what my situation and expectations were to eliminate many of the unknowns, he advised me what he and his team would do, everything he told me made sense and seemed reasonable and he did not try to sell me anything more than I needed. Even after I told him that I was shopping around, and would call him if I needed him, he gave me advice on what not to accept from other plumbing services, which I very much appreciated. There was as a consequence, mutual respect and a job well done. (Tip to anyone who has a HW tank failure - if you can wait and shop around, do so. You'll save yourself some money. Don't panic; turn off the water supply, turn off the gas, and get out the Shop Vac. If you can drain the tank yourself after the water is cool, you save yourself a lot of sweat & time that the plumber is on the job since that is probably the most time consuming and messy part of the job.)

Description of Work: Goffredo's was recommended by a colleague as well as Angie's List. Their work was excellent and they went the extra mile to make sure that the plumbing rough out for a new upright radiator to replace the baseboard heater was *exactly* where I wanted it. They also removed one (large, rusted through, and non-operational) pipe and re-routed three others in the partition wall between the kitchen and the dining room so that we could open up the space. The original plan was to run the new pex lines against the side wall, but Danny realized that part of the stone foundation was in the way of running the lines straight down as planned. So they called me and asked my preference: run the lines straight down a half foot or so out from the wall or create a joint at the floor to go around the obstruction. They actually called me!! Even though it was a little more expensive, I really wanted to remove the entire partition and opted for the joints around the obstruction. The total still came in under estimate, and the final work looked very polished--they even put the new radiator in the downstairs closet to protect it from the dirty old plaster dust involved in removing the wall. These are the kind of details that make all the difference: communication, customer service, providing options with pros and cons of each, and taking the time and care to do quality work (while still keeping within budget). I already have several more jobs lined up with Goffredo's.

Description of Work: I had a leak from the bathtub into the kitchen below. They were able to show up the next morning. They were prompt. There were no easy access panels. They determined the leak was coming from the drain closing knob in the bathtub. They caulked the whole area, gave me some advice on other plumbing questions I had and mailed me a bill. I have not had any issues with the leak since.

These guys are great plumbers, very friendly, and very knowledgeable. We've had him and his team back many times for many different issues in our homes and apartment buildings. Mr. Eric K. serviced my property on one other occasion and he did such an excelent job that I had to contact him again. And I was very pleased. This was one of my rental properties and my tenants even asked if we were able to have Vincent Goffredo Plumbing return because of his timely service. They also were pleased and felt really comfortable in his environment. Which is one of my most important concerns today with so many dishonest workers. Just too mention, I had another plumber come out before contacting Vincent Goffredo Plumbing and I was not pleased at all with their manner of perusing the problem before even giving me a price for the work. After they explained to me what they would then later consulting with other plumbers and Vincent Goffredo I was told that the job could be done without all the work and for less than they were charging.
