I called this company based on phone recommendation of Angie's List rep. Despite being only 9 miles from my house, it is in Pennsylvania and not licensed in New Jersey (where I live). I initially spoke to the answering service ~noon on Saturday and I am pleased that the company called me back promptly.

This review is long overdue but they were FANTASTIC. They were extremely accommodating, professional, informative and did not make a mess while working. They were on time and did not try to cut corners. Very pleased customers

the plumbers showed up on time, and were able to complete the work for much less cost than I had expected. I was pleasantly surprised ,and would recommend Goffredo plumbing.

He never showed up ! or called to cancel

Luke was extremely professional and helpful. He was here on time and done within an hour or so. The work was phenomenal and Luke even cleaned up after himself. I would HIGHLY recommend is company for plumbing needs. Most times, plumbing issues are not something that can wait so it's nice to have someone so prompt and reliable.

The plumber was able to accommodate my schedule, and arrived on time. He did the job quickly, and also pointed out a couple of problems with the toilet and showed me which parts to order since I wanted to take care of it myself.

I want to start by saying I don't normally write reviews when I have a bad experience because I don't like to affect someones business due to one mistake. I feel like we were not treated well by this company. We purchased a dishwasher from Home Depot which they were supposed to install. When they came out they refused to install the machine because it didn't fit in 'exactly' in the space from the old machine. We contacted Goffredo Plumbing based on the reviews on Angie's List. Everything seemed to being going well after contacting them they sent someone out to install the machine. The serviceman they sent out estimated the job would take about hour and cost around $150. In the serviceman's defense this was not an easy install and it ended up taking 3 hours to complete. They apologized for the for the extra time and the plumber said he would speak to his boss about have the bill adjusted because it took so much longer then estimated. Issue 1, we received our bill with no adjustments made and nothing was mentioned about the discount. We found this to be very unfair and called about the discrepancy but no adjustment was offered. This left a very bad taste in our mouth and we decided to never use them again but leave it at that. The real issue made itself known a couple of months after the dishwasher was installed. Prior to arrival of the plumber we had purchased an after market steel braided dishwasher line to be used at time of the install. We gave this to the plumber when he arrived and asked him to use it. After the long delay for the install we came down and noticed that he did not use the steel line we gave him but instead used the nylon braided cable that came with the machine. He told us they were the same thing and we believed him since we are new home buyers and know nothing about plumbing or dishwashers. We learned the hard way what the experienced plumber must have known from the start. Two months later the nylon line burst in the middle of the night completely flooding our basement and kitchen. This plumber caused us days of anguish and stress all because he refused to install the steel braided cable that we provided him at the time of the install. On top of that he charged us an outrageous amount of money to install a dishwasher. I cannot stress enough to please stay away from this company.

Contacted Eric when we were getting quotes for a basement plumbing rough-in. It was difficult to get plumbing companies to come out, and if they did, some didn't respond with a quote. Eric called back in a timely fashion and although he was unable to come out to quote( because of another obligation) we had a phone consult about the scope of work to be done. He was able to provide a ball park estimate over the phone and said he would be happy to speak with me about another quote we received (also from Angie's List). I received the quote figure from the other firm and e-mailed it over to Eric and sure enough it was about the same in pricing. Our previous contractor told us that our rough-in was going to be 800-1000. Both Eric and the Plumber we hired were around $4,900. This is not a review on pricing, rather, it was comforting knowing what market value is for the scope of work to be done and for a plumber to take the time and review the work that needed to be done and confirm if another plumber was quoting properly. My conversation with Eric was pleasant and informative and I will definitely remember his company for any future plumbing needs.. Thank you!

I was bleeding my radiators and noticed that the radiators on the third floor weren't filled. I filled them up with water and bled them, and then realized that I had a leak in one of them that was moving pretty quickly. I called them and got someone on the line right away, who said they could have someone out within the hour. Amazingly, someone showed up at my door 15 minutes later. He drained the water from the radiators and told me that they would call to make an appointment sometime within the next week. About 5 days after that, I hadn't heard anything, so I called over, and they seemed to be a little disorganized, but found my ticket relatively quickly, and were able to schedule me in early the next day! They were out right when they said they would be, and fixed the radiator quickly. They also went over a couple of my other radiators for me, talked about the system (it's a new house and I'm trying to learn as much as I can), and bled the radiators for me. All in all, great service, though you may have to call them if you're expecting a call from them.

Vincent did an excellent job. His price is fair and the work is high quality.

Eric and his guys are fantastic I have nothing but good to say about them they are punctual, quick with their work do a fantastic job and Eric is very good at getting back and in touch. I have a lot of faith in them doing the job right..i had considered getting a 'special' with another plumber for the job but I knew that it would be done right with Geoffredo Plumbing. I've used them other times and each time i'm amazed how they get the job done much quicker than I imaged ..also my old toilet was quite old from the early 80s (it was pink!! that's how old) and thought bet there will be some problems but not at all!! Thanks guys and especially Eric for his attention & helpfulness.

Finally found my go to plumber. Eric got back to me right away and was able to have the work started within a day or 2. I have been looking for a reliable plumber for a couple of years now, and this is the company. Would strongly recommend using these guys for any plumbing problems.

The leak started the night before around 7:30 p.m in my dining room. I called a plumber and left a message. No return call. I joined Angie's List late that night and first thing in the morning 7:30 a.m. I called and within 15 minutes Eric called and made arrangements for someone to meet me a few hours later. The first plumber got back to me around 9:30 that morning - too late. The gentleman who came to my home was polite, fixed the problem within 1/2 hour, and answered all my questions. Definitely recommend this company to anyone.

Responded to an emergency leak the same day I called their service line. Fixed problem and also installed a new faucet system that I had purchased at Home Depot, but had not yet installed. Explained the nature of the problem and what it would cost before proceeding.

Great experience. We called on a Tuesday - after hours - and the repair folks were here early Wednesday. Very nice and very competent.

I had a pipe burst on a Sunday afternoon and needed emergency service over the weekend. They were fast in getting back to me, punctual in showing up and isolating the problem so that I could use water in the rest of the home, and prompt in following up the next morning to complete the job. They were courteous, understanding and resolved the problem quickly at a fair cost (emergency service).

They always arrived on time and assessed the job and got right to work. For the toilets, they have me an estimate up front. They were very nice and got the job done fast!

Working with Eric was a wonderful experience from the start. I received a quote from another company that I felt was extremely high for the job. I reached out to Eric for a second opinion. I explained the situation via e-mail and asked if he could come out and take a look. He responded right away and was scheduled to come out the following day. I was working at the time so my husband was home while Eric came to do the evaluation. He explained everything to my husband, and still reached out to me via e-mail to give me all the details in writing as well. He gave me a rough estimate of the costs via e-mail (the final cost was going to be determined by how much pipe needed to be cut in case it started to crack as they were repairing it). I was aware of the maximum cost up front. Total costs for the job ended up being much lower (almost half) of the original quote I received from the previous company I reached out to. It was well within my budget and Eric worked with me every step of the way so I know exactly what to expect. He knew our maximum for the job and assured me he would stay within that, if not lower. Luckily, the bill was much lower than expected! Prior to the work being done, Eric sent me an e-mail letting me know the names and information for the two men that were going to be performing the work. The men were on time and did everything in a timely fashion (and clean). After they were done, I received another e-mail from Eric letting me know exactly how things went . They also informed me there could be a bigger issue with my sewer pipe. Instead of charging me an arm and a leg to fix it, he referred me to another company that may be better equipped to handle the situation. I really appreciated his honesty. It made me feel like he had our best interest in mind. Working with Eric and this company has been an absolute pleasure. While I hope I do not have any more issues with my home, I know I can use them in the future should anything arise.

They responded immediately to my request, and scheduled a plumber to come to my house the very next day. The plumber, Luke, called when he was on his way, was punctual, was very friendly and happy to explain everything he was doing. We even bothered him with lots of other questions about our DIY bathroom project and he was glad to answer our questions while he worked. We also thought we needed a plumber to come back for a different job, and while we didn't end up needing anyone to come out, Luke was very helpful in setting up an appointment right away. I will definitely call them again when we have a need for a plumber again in the future. I would absolutely recommend them to others.

First off, I will start with I am extremely busy in my work life, so when trying to find someone to do work on my house, I ask that whomever I am trying to get, communicate thru email as it's easier for me. I received a message back from Eric with exactly what I asked for vs everyone else that told me to call. So right off the bat, good! He was able to come over and assess the job and what was needed, however when his worker came, he figured out it was a different problem and explained in detail what it was and what was needed. It made perfect sense and I was happy with the estimate. At that same time, I had needed a new sink installed and asked if that could be done at the same time. He was able to work around my schedule and came on time and explained to me what he was doing when I needed to know the changes to the plan. In the end, he was able to complete both jobs in about 3 hrs. Overall, extremely happy. I found my new plumber and will use them again if (when) I have issues.

Excellent Started in January - a major job - and just completed. Brought in a tile person and a carpenter to fix the bathrooms and damage from the water damage downstairs. Well organized, always on time , very nice people and did an A+ job. I recommend Goffredo Plumbing highly. Note: Cost was for the plumbing not the tile and wood work.

My toilet started to overfill when flushed. I had done my best to plunge it clear, but it was a short term solution. I called early in the day (probably around 11 PM) and was told that there was one of his guys in the area finishing up a job and that he could be at my house in under an hour. The plumber showed up before the hour was up and snaked the toilet for me. He explained that I should probably switch to a cheaper, thinner type of toilet paper for the bathroom because the toilet's jet that sends material down the drain was not in the most ideal place. He was friendly, clean, and took a fairly mundane situation with the same seriousness and professionalism as a complex job. We were billed in the mail and not on site. $150 seems like a lot of money for about 20 minutes of time, but I also understand I wasn't about to be able to fix it myself. In addition, recently contacted them for some sewer work and though they are not able to do the job they did recommend someone to me. This is a nice added bonus to know they do to help homeowners make decisions.
