He initially told me that he could not get out there until Thursday. He said that he does not work on pipes, and he gave my tenants an alternate number to call.

THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB, ARRIVED ON THE DAY AND CALLED TO SAY THEY MIGHT BE DELAYED AN HOUR OR SO, WHICH I APPRECIATED AS A GOOD MANY CONTRACTORS YOU WAIT AND THEY NEVER SHOW UP. THEY DID THE WORK PRETTY QUICKLY AND AT A GOOD PRICE AS ANOTHER COMPANY WANTED TO CHARGE ABOUT A HUNDRED DOLLARS MORE. I WAS QUITE PLEASED AND REALLY INTEND TO USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN SHOULD THE NEED ARISE.

Eric came and estimated the labor and materials cost including asking me if I wanted to replace the pipe with PVC (i think) or pay a bit more for cast iron. He quoted me the precise difference in price and I chose to go with the cast iron. The crew showed up at the time we agreed on to do the work-- they were friendly and professional and clean. And they were super efficient. The job took the minimum amount of time Eric had estimated and I was charged the low end of his estimate. I couldn't be more satisfied.

Technician Dan arrived on time as promised, did the work and I was able to get to work on time. Excellent service!

I contacted Gofferdo Plumbing on Tuesday. The woman took a message and Eric called me back a few hours later. He told me he could have someone out by late morning on Wednesday. They were held up a little on the previous job but once I called they got back to me quickly to inform me they were running late and would be here shortly. Very professional from start to finish. Will definitely use them again.

They were very nice, they brought high quality stuff. They did good work and cleaned up beautifully. I was taken aback at how expensive it turned out. I did not price shop, I like them enough and so I just went with them. My neighbor recommended them. I would recommend them to others. They charged a lot for labor, about $80 an hour. I didn't price shop so its okay.

Excellent service from Dan the plumber. He was very efficient, and also took the time to show me some tips on how to take care of future problems myself. He also clearly explained why the toilet was leaking in the first place. It works perfectly now. The final bill for the service was actually less than the rough estimate that was provided over the phone!

From start to finish the repair went quickly and effciently. He had what he needed to complete the job. The new drain assembly works great. He asked why I called them and I said that I got their name off of Angie's List. He said that I would get the 10% discount for using them through Angie's list.

I live near Vincent Goffredo's but never used them because I thought it may have been expensive. I contacted the group, received an appt and the work was completed quickly and effectiently. I was so thrilled to come home and not hear our money going down the drain with the dripping water. I will absolutely use them again.

We came home to a small flood in our kitchen, water coming thru the ceiling. We called these guys based on so many positive revues on Angie's List & were not disappointed. I thought we had a leaking toilet because I found a large puddle around it, which caused the leak. These guys came the next day, checked out the situation & advised us it was probable coming from the shower stall, which has some cracks in the tile. These guys could have told me anything & done un-needed work, but they did not. They were very honest. While there he noticed the flap in the toilet needed replacing & took care of it. We will be calling these guys back to install a new shower soon, however as they were leaving I asked how much for the visit, & they didn't charge us. He said ?oh, we'll send you a bill? & left.. Who does that these days? These guys were courteous & professional. We will call them for all of our plumbing needs.

Superbly. Called on Thursday and asked for appt on Monday. Set time. They arrived on time. Worked efficiently and neatly. Everything was completed in less than an hour. Very knowledgeable and personable.

I had never had a garbage disposal before in my unit so it required rerouting the pipes slightly, and using the dishwasher's water supply. He quoted that it might take about 3 hours of work since he was giving me the estimate over the phone and couldn't see my plumbing, but his men were in and out in less than 2 hours and therefore I got charged less than the estimate! I was delighted with their service. He was available the next day, his men were prompt, they saved me money, and the disposal works. Would definitely work with them again.

The experience was fine, no complaints and only took about 20mins. from start to finish.

I called early in the morning and they made every effort to accommodate me. Eric came at around 11am to evaluate the problem and to give a quote for the job. After reaching an agreement on the price he than promised to send Danny (I like to keep track of names-give credit where it's due) between 2-3pm. This being my first dealing with them I was a bit concerned about their ability to come through. Sure enough at 2:30pm I got a call from Danny who came and did a great job. He was professional and answered all my questions. If you have a busy schedule, you can actually count on these guys and their great teamwork. Thank you.

When we tried turning the heat on for the cold season, found water pouring out of the ceiling below a radiator. (Bummer!) My husband and I removed part of the floor before Goffredo came they came in order to reduce labor time and see what kind of damage the subfloor had incurred. As they always do, Goffredo came when work was scheduled. Found the offending leaks quickly (valve and stem, which were obviously totally rusted out, and an L-bend that had a small crack in it), and Danny (I think? sorry!) and another guy were able to do some tricky torque thing to get the new parts back in without having to remove the radiator or more of the floor. Did need to cut a small section in the ceiling below, which was my suggestion since it was damaged anyway. I repaired the damaged subfloor myself afterwards (and will also do the ceiling myself), which gave me an excuse to do some needed repair to the original (very delicate) topfloor when I put it back. Repair was a bit more expensive than we expected, but considering it included our annual servicing, and the fact that Goffredo always does superior work, we really don't mind. Plus they got it all done in approximately 2 hours (perhaps a bit more), which impressed us.

Overall it was not horrible because I've heard of a lot worse, but I feel that if I am paying a professional to do a job I shouldn't have to go behind and still do the work I paid them to do.

We had leaky tub/shower plumbing behind a panel in the wall. They came and assessed the situation, initially recaulked the faucet fixtures because they thought the water was leaking around the fixtures. When the leaking continued, we called them back and they replaced the fixtures. (We had to pay extra for the new faucet head and handle.) This fixed the problem. However, after they left I opened up the panel again to double check that the leaking had stopped, and noticed that they had left a large towel in there (which had been used to soak up the dripping water). Not a huge deal, but could have been a smelly mess behind the wall if i hadn't checked!

I called, they came out when they said they would, reviewed what needed to be done, scheduled a return date, came when they said they would and looked at and solved the problems. I have already referred them to 2 others.

I called the plumbers as soon as we found out the washer couldn't be hooked up by the delivery guys. I spoke with a person in the office who said that Eric (the main guy, I think) wasn't in the office but that he would call me back the next morning. He did. Both people were great to communicate with over the phone. The plumber and apprentice arrived on time and were nice trust worthy people. They did the work in under an hour and didn't have any problems. The washer works great so far! The only things that were somewhat bothersome: They used some sort of very smelly solvent or appoxy and there are now permanent black drips on the floor. In fairness, I told them not to worry about the floor when they pulled things out, but I was refering to some of the vinyl tiles that were pulling up. Also, at one point they asked me if I had a brick or piece of wood or something. I said sure and that they were welcome to take a piece of wood from the basement. After they left, I realized that this block was being used as a permanent part of the set up. It's wedged between a curve in some pipe and the floor. I don't really care about how it looks, but it hardly seems like the most long-lasting setup. Lastly, I was told that I'd receive a bill in the mail. I received the bill over two weeks later. It was near the holidays, so perhaps that delayed things a bit, but still, I would have prefered to take care of this payment immediately or at least within the week. All of this being said, they did what we needed, were able to schedule us reasonably soon, and charged a fair price. Thanks!

There was one little problem with the spickets in the sink. One of the screws keeps falling out and they have to continue to come out to fix it.

Water started appearing in my basement, which has never had water in it. I found Goffredo's on Angieslist. I left a message on a Thursday, Erik called me back that afternoon and came over on Friday. He was professional and personable, and figured out within 15 minutes that my water heater had finally given up the ghost. He said he would not be able to get anyone out to my house until Monday, but I was planning to be out of town until Monday night. He said he could schedule it for Tuesday, but that if I was comfortable giving him a house key, he could get the work done on Monday while I was gone. Because of the many excellent reviews on Angieslist, I didn't hesitate to give him a key. He then showed me how to shut off the water in the house when I left for the weekend so that the leak would not continue while I was gone. I got a call on my cell on Monday morning at 10 am from the leader of the crew at my house saying that the work was all done and asking me where I would like him to leave the key. When I got home later that afternoon, it was clear that not only had they replaced the water heater, but they had also swept the basement floor and I also suspect that they used the wet/dry vac to vacuum the water up off the floor, as I had been doing. The difference was that this time the floor stayed dry because my water heater was no longer leaking! Yay!

He was the nicest man and he was absolutely amazing. If I ever do that work, I know that I will use him. I spoke with him a couple of times over the phone and worked with him. I liked that he was able to explain what he thought the problem was and was very reassuring. He was able to accommodate whatever schedule to come and do the repair. Someone told me that I needed all the radiators replaced in my house and he said that no way and that I just needed a simple servicing of the boiler. He was wonderful and he wasn?t trying to rip me off or try and do repairs on things that did not need to. I was real pleased with him. I called him back and said that I was not going to need him to come out and he was real nice about it and said to give him a call in the future if I needed work to be done on my boiler. He was wonderful to work with. I remember speaking to Eric.

The plumber provided quality service. Clean up afterwards could have been better.

VINCENT GOFFREDO PLUMBING & HEATING My initial contact person took my information and a description of my problem and said she would forward the info to Eric. Eric called me back a few minutes later and informed me a cancellation allowed his plumber to stop in and take a look. About an hour later the plumber stopped by and examined my problems, a leaky drain pipe under my bathroom sink and new guts for my toilet tank. He had neither of the parts for my specialized components and since it was later in the day arraigned to stop back at noon the next day. As promised, he stopped back with the needed parts and commenced to work on and fix the problems. The work was done very well, exhibiting good craftsmanship, cleanliness and speed. The pricing was reasonable and within the going rate. Bottom line, I?m very happy with the difficult to reach repairs and will rehire this group in the future.
