Mr. Kassab was punctual and very personal; he was also responsive and good about returning phone calls. He arrived one morning, about a week before the work was done, to diagnose a leak we thought we had in the master bath and give us an estimate on work. Mr. Kassab was able to find the source of our leak right away, which was a huge relief. He gave us an oral quote, which ended up being about what we paid for the work. His team (his son and another coworker) came over the following week to make the repairs. They were timely and did great work, working efficiently and fixed all of our problems. After previously using a plumber who liked to chat a lot (and charge for the time he was chatting you up) and who also repeatedly came to our house and would fail to fix the problem, it was great to have a plumber come in, diagnose the problem and actually fix it -- all in the first time. We will definitely be using Mr. Kassab and his team again!

Old lead trap on bathtub was leaking replaced it with pvc.Guys were in and out in under 2 hours.I will be using them again when needed.

Eric Kassab from Goffredo personally came to my triplex to review the problems. He was knowledgeable and took the time to explain the scope of the problem. He and his crew showed up on time. They resolved the issue with the leak and also advised me on ways to prevent it in the future. In addition they replaced a bad thermostat , repaired a bad radiater valve, and made sure all the boilers worked properly. My home is ready for the winter and I cannot thank Eric enough for his patience and professionalism. Goffredo is truly a class act and I appreciate the work they have done.

The men were very professional and tidy. I actually had a phone interview while they were there and they were very considerate. They were as efficient as they could be. Showed me what was going on and answered questions adequately. Was a bit nervous about the cost of work since it was a hard to reach pipe. I didn't get an invoice right away however and that maybe due to the fact I had to leave before they finished. When I returned I found a message from the older plumber but no balance owed on phone. I got the invoice a week later. It was within the ballpark that was given to me and the Angie's discount came in really handy. Overall it was a job well done. No more leaks in the house!

My house was broken into and extensive copper piping from the main water supply and boiler in the basement was ripped out. When I returned home, water was gushing from a severed copper pipe and had flooded the basement. The plumbers first quickly reestablished a basic water line so that I could use the bathroom upstairs. They returned and mapped and reestablished lines to the three different levels of my home from the antiquated boiler which supplies hot water baseboard heat throughout the house. This required the running of extensive "PEX" piping, after they figured out, from the clues of the scant remaining copper pipe nubs, what had gone went where. They also addressed problems with the valves and relays on the boiler itself, and replaced ripped out water lines and drains to the kitchen. They worked in teams of two over the course of four days. They were invariably punctual, courteous, respectful and friendly. They happily explained their work so that I could understand the various valves and controls of my new system and they seemed to welcome my plumbing-ignorant questions. Their workmanship is of high quality and I have confidence that it will serve the house well for many years to come. I also had multiple occasions to meet with and talk to the owner. He was informative and sympathetic and helpful, and helped make the painful experience of the break-in that much less stressful.

Since the walls behind the old tub surround needed to be replaced, Charlie Sage arrived as scheduled and tore out the old surround and walls. Right behind him came Eric's workers who pulled out the old tub. Next they plumbed in the new fixtures and prepped the area. The next step was to put in new walls that would be a tile backer board. It needs to be pointed out that the estimate Charlie Sage and Eric gave us was based on the job and not on what they discovered when they pulled the old tub and surround and walls out. The mess they found, left by the previous owners needed to be corrected before they could do their install. This added an extra two days to what they had estimated, yet they did not jack the price up. Please note that they could have also just done a sloppy patch job, but they didn't, they did it right! Charlie corrected the stud problem then put the new walls in, next Eric's team installed the new tub. This in itself was a challenge since level was a concept the old owners were not familiar with. The next step was laying the tile which Charlie Sage was a true artisan at. The work is first rate and lastly Eric's team finished off the job with the fixtures. We now have a bathroom that could be photographed for House Beautiful. If anyone ever needs a plumber Eric will be the first person I would recommend. We have a vacation home in the Poconos that we wanted to add another bathroom to. It is going to be a struggle to find a team as good as Eric and Charlie to do the job.

The flexible pipe going from the copper piping to my hot water heater sprung a leak. I called Goffredo in the morning, around 7:30am, and they were out at my house at 1:30pm to fix the problem. It took Dan about a half hour to remove the flexible pipe and add a new section of fixed copper pipe with a shut-off valve. I'm extremely pleased with Goffredo's quick response and the quality of their work. I'll definitely be using them again in the future.

Eric came out to my home to give me an estimate for installing a gas lamp outside my house. The new gas line had already been run by the carpenters so I needed him to hook everything up. He was on time, very professional and completely honest. He said he had never installed a gas lamp before, and although he was complete confident they would be able to install it, he thought they might take longer and therefore cost a bit more than someone who had previously installed one. I personally had in the past moved gas lines around in my basement and told him I thought I could do it, however the plumbing stores would not sell me the 2 special parts I need, given I did not take a course required by the manufacturer of the pipe called "Tracpipe". When I came home from work I found the two parts I needed on my door step, no note or bill. It is rare today that you find someone like Eric. I highly recommend him as your first call.

Excellent to do business with. Noticed water leaking at base of toilet when toilet was flushed. Called the company at about 12:00 noon and was advised they would have a tech call me back shortly. Dan called a little later, came to home, diagnosed problem and made repair for a reasonable charge. Company personnel were help, informative, professional and courteous.I will definitely be using them again.

I found Goffredo Plumbing to be very service oriented but felt when compared to other plumbing work I've had done, their services were over priced.

Hello: I called Vincent Goffredo Plumbing And Heating on to have them come to a potential home I am trying to purchase to address some pluming issues. I called the number provided through Angie's of 215-724-3425. I spoke to the receptionist who took my information. With a few minutes I nice gentleman called me and took my information, took my agent's info and wrote down what I needed. The gentleman did contact my agent, and Vincent Goffredo Plumbing And Heating went to the home to check out the pluming issues. They stated that they would provide the estimate to my agent. As of July 1st, I have not heard from them.I contact them again on July 1st to check the status of this before I contacted someone for the repairs. The receptionist had my information on file and stated that someone will get back to me during business hours. I am giving them a C overall and a B in professionalism because their receptionist are nice and very friendly but my agent and myself have called them multiple times to obtain the estimate which they performed already and to have them fix the problems, but we have been unable to reach them. I will need to find another plumber. Update: Finaly was able get the estimate. Reason for delay was due to the "owner" being away and the estimate could not be provided without his permission. Estimate received. Updating review to B. Throughout the entire process they were extremely proffesional.

I tried to fix the faucet on my own at first but one of the seats was corroded in the stem. I had a plumber come help out but I didn't like his work or professionalism -- pretty messy in more ways than one. Already out $100, I called VGP based on the reviews. They weren't able to fix the stem, so I was out the $50 for that too, but they didn't charge me for the first visit and ordered the right parts for the job. The price was reasonable for the new faucet and I was able to use a coupon for the labor. Eric runs his business smoothly and his workers are very professional and efficient.

My experience with this company from beginning to end was positive and as a result of that, I have a plumber for life. First of all Mr. Eric Kassab came out to my house about two weeks prior to the start of the job to assess what needed to be done, gave me an estimate, the amount of time required to perform the various jobs, patiently answered my questions, which I greatly appreciated, and provided me with the name of the plumbler assigned to the job. Danny arrived on time and finished the work much quicker than I expected (he arrived early and was done before 12:30pm; I expected him to be done around 2pm). He was friendly but worked quickly and efficiently and, just as did Mr. Kassab, he was patient in answering my questions. I am very happy with the quality of the work and will definitely hire this company in the Fall to inspect the radiators which are quite old. Since I have not received a billing statement, the approximate amount to be paid is around $1,500 to $1,800.

They were cost effective and responded quickly. I was very pleased with their work. I would definitely use them again in the future if needed.

Eric was great to work with. He spent the time talking through the options with us, and was easily accessable and punctual. He made sure the job was done correctly and even identified a gas leak on the street!

These guys were fantastic! They not only did great work and solved a problem that others didn't with our water pressure and garbage disposal drain, but they helped me save money by not installing unnecessary fixtures. Really, I'd use them again in a heartbeat. They were also incredibly nice, responsive, and on time!

These guys were absolutely wonderful to work with. My husband and I are new to homeownership and all of the issues and fixes that come along with it - they helped us with using our homeowner's insurance and that ended up covering pretty much the entire cost - if they didn't suggest that it would of been out of our pocket. The guys that came to the house were courteous good guys - questions were answered promptly and in a way that didn't overcomplicate matters for us They made what could have been a huge problem and burden to us not a problem at all

first price was quoted at 450.00 When workmen arrived, part was too small said they would be back later in the day got another call said the part was not in stock and had to be ordered , cost would be 500.00 and they would be at the house on Monday at 11o,clock work men arrived at 10:15a.m. job took 1 and a half hours to complete work area was left clean I was pleased with quality of work

I called Vincent Goffredo to have them check over items that showed up on an inspection report for the house I am selling. Eric called me very promptly to go over the items on the report and then set up a time to do a visual inspection the next day. Eric was very pleasant and professional. He reviewed the report again and then looked at each item. Upon inspection he found everything to be in perfectly satisfactory condition and nothing in violation of the building code. I asked if he could write up his assessment for me to give to the buyer and offered to pay for that since I would not need to hire them to fix anything. I will admit I am a past customer of Vincent Goffredo and every time I have used them I have been very happy with the work, the plumbers and the price. I understand they do normally charge for a home inspection review, but considering the few number of items I had, they did not charge me for it and did a very professional writeup for me to hand to the buyer. If I weren't leaving the area, I would most certainly call them for any plumbing issue.

There was a crack in my waste pipe on the outside of my house. Anytime I ran the shower or toilet, water would be leaking out of this crack. I wasn't sure if I could simply patch it or if there might have been a clog somewhere below the crack causing the water to squirt out the crack. I called Goffredo Plumbing based on the reviews I had seen on Angie's List. I was told that a technician would return my call shortly. I quickly heard from Eric. Since he happened to be in the area, he stopped by to look at the pipe. There was nothing that indicated to him that there was a clog. He recommended that I just patch up the crack which is a simple repair I could do myself. I was impressed by the punctuality, responsiveness, and honesty displayed by Goffredo Plumbing and will be sure to call them again in the future when any of their services are needed.
