Showed promptly for estimate. Suggested excellent structural features not suggested by other firms and still most economical estimate. Job start delayed by bad weather on previous jobs but kept me informed. Job completed promptly once started. Was respectful of neighbors' concerns. Deck appears well built and very sturdy. Contractor, Charles Cofone, is friendly, direct, seems to know his stuff and delivers on his promise but don't expect a coat & tie or smooth talk.

Charlie seemed like a nice guy over the phone. He immediately went to our house, climbed up on the roof and provided a verbal estimate for the job. At first we thought the price was good, but as we got a couple of more estimates we realized he came in high. When I asked him to write down the estimate and slip it into my mailbox, he refused. I thought that was a bit unprofessional. We wanted to hire a local roofing contractor like Charlie, but the price was just too high. I also was a little concerned that he was a bit over-anxious for the job.

Charlie Cofone responded to our inquiry phone call the following day. Arrived on time for the visit to view the project and make an estimate. Called back the same evening with an estimate (all as he said he would). We agreed on his price and he started the project on the specified day. Offered us an upgrade on the decking material when he learned of a deal on cedar. He and his crew arrived on time each day and finished the project in 3 days. I have to add that they even worked quietly one day when my husband told them that I had just worked a night shift and was sleeping!

VERY SKILLED AND EFFICIENT IN WORK. WORKED FAST AND DID A GOOD JOB.

WORK WAS EFFICIENT AND PROFESSIONAL. THEY USED PRESSURE TREATED WOOD FROM A LOCAL HARDWARE STORE WHICH LEFT A BIT TO BE DESIRED (ALOT OF KNOTS AND NOT THE PRETTIEST WOOD AROUND) BUT DID A FINE JOB. THEY HAD TO POUR CONCRETE FOOTERS. TOTAL JOB WAS COMPLETED IN 3-4 DAYS.
