Universal Marble & Granite Inc

Fast, good quality counters but one counter out of plumb.

Our experience with Universal Marble was wonderful! I had been to three other places to get estimates. I originally looked on angie's list for a resource and found a listing for Gennex-that was rated the highest in every category, so I contacted them. The individual there explained that he was now part of Universal Marble and Granite. I was given an appointment for the next day to go in and look at samples. We brought measurements of our kitchen area and were given an estimate. I was able to negotiate the estimate and was comfortable with the price as compared to other places I had checked. They allowed us to take a sample piece of granite. I had not been able to get a sample from the other places I checked. We did not commit at that time, and felt no pressure from the salesperson to do so. She explained that if we would decide to go with them, that we could call for an appointment to have them measure for the template and after that it would be about 2 days and then we could schedule to have the granite put in!! This turn-around time seemed unbelievable to me, as other places I had gotten estimates from had a much longer turn-around time from start to finish. When I got home I realized I didn't love the color I chose. They did not have a problem with me going back to the store to get another sample to take home. When we decided to go with Universal granite, I called for an appointment to have them come to the house to measure. They were flexible with my work schedule. They called the morning of the appointment to confirm it was still set, and he arrived on time. I had an additional cabinet I had put on wheels and asked how much extra it would cost to have granite put on that cabinet. He told me it would be no charge as he would have extra from the bigger piece he would be cutting. The template was measured on Monday morning and he asked when we would like it installed? I suggested that Friday. (That was not a problem at all-he would have been able to do it as soon as Wednesday). On Friday morning he called to say they were leaving and when I could expect them. Again, they were prompt. They were professional and friendly- . There was one little area where we had not made it exactly level, and he evened this out for us before putting on the granite. Our entire experience with Universal Marble and Granite was wonderful!!!
