We wanted a new floor in our kitchen since the white tile just always looked dirty. Todd was recommended by a former co-worker/friend whose kitchen floor he had done similar work on. He came over and measured everything. He recommended ceramic tile since we did not have pets (which porcelain is better for, which I did not know) and were not planning on staying in the house too long, really. I thought that was insightful and helpful since we did not know much about tile floors. He told me it would take about 4 days and gave me an initial estimate of $850. He worked around a vacation schedule in early June. We did not know what the floor was like under the tile, but it turned out it was fine and he did all the tearing up, measuring, cutting and laying in about 12 hours over the first two days. Then he did the grouting and sealing and painted the trim over a few hours the next two days. He was methodical and cleaned up along the way. Was able to give him keys and he always locked up. In the end, he charged me less than the original estimate since the floor was in better shape than he expected, which was a pleasant surprise.
