We had purchased a new house which had never had new locks. Although they don't typically service our area someone was able to come by "on the way home" and re-key the entire house (and garage) to one key. We were even able to keep the original hardware on the front door.

Steve was professional and personable. He sounded like he knew a lot about locks and did the work efficiently and didn't make any mess. I will certainly call him again if I need a locksmith in the future.

I called on a Monday and he came by on Tuesday. He looked at the locks and determined he could re-key locks and install one new one. It took him about 45 minutes. He gave some recommendations on improving my basement door security. All in all, professional and easy.

One of the owners Nick personally came over and did the work after spending considerable time on the phone as we discussed what keying system worked best. The work was very professional, quick and neat and the price was very reasonable. I am a confirmed long term customer now and expect to have a continuing frequent need.

My front door wouldn't lock. I live in the city and was concerned. He came within 30 minutes and fixed it within the hour. He had to relocate the strike plate as the door frame was settling.

Nick did a phenomenal job. He was courteous, on time, and completely professional. He has been in the business for so long, he knows every type of lock there is and didn't try to swindle me into services I didn't need. I called at 9am and he was there by 10:30am, even though I hadn't made an appointment. After the first two jobs he did, the next one was basically done for pennies. He knows how to take care of his customers.

Nick called me 15 minutes before the scheduled time to make sure we were still on. Came on time. Complete professional. He checked out the locks, recommended I rekey 4 of them and replace one as it was a special security lock. Got the job done quickly and professionally, and gave me plenty of sets of keys. He even pulled his screwdriver out and gave my screen door mechanism a tweak so that it would close better on his way out. A great find from Angie's List, would not hesitate to recommend or use him again.

In addition to changing our locks, he fixed some issues with our doors. He was great, on time, fast, and high quality work.

Nick called while en-route, and arrived right on the button. He looked at the locks and told me they were very good Schlage locks and that I would be crazy to replace them. Instead, he suggested that he could save me a good bit of money by re-keying the locks. He did that for four locks, and then made me 6 or 7 original keys right in his truck. As he was leaving, I told him I needed a lock for my mailbox, too. He suggested I bring the lock to the shop on Federal Street. It would be far less expensive than having him make a house call. I did, and got that lock replaced, too.

We just bought our house and wanted to switch the locks. Sal came on time and was quick and efficient. He gave me four sets of keys for each lock.

We called Todaro Locksmith to repair the front door knob and deadbolt lock set of our downtown rental townhouse. An appointment was quickly made directly by our tenant and the locksmith came promptly on the appointed hour. It was quickly repaired and operated to our tenant's satisfaction. Also, It was on a day while we had to be away. But Sal of Todaro, readily agreed to call us the day after and get paid by credit. The bill was very reasonable for the work. We definitely will use them again in the future and highly recommend their service.

Nick Todaro came highly recommended, was on time, thorough, very informative and honest. We wanted him to help us make decisions on maximum safety and he was very upfront regarding what would add to our safety and what wouldn't. I have no reservations in recommending him highly.

They were professional, efficient, and nice to work with. We'd replaced the lock before ourselves and it was a time-consuming process. They took about 15 minutes--impressive! I'd definitely work with them again.

I discovered this am that my keys were missing and might have been stolen. I called Tedoro's who made an appointment for 2pm today. He arrived at 1:55! Completed the job professionally and quickly. I now also have one key for 2 locks instead of 2.

Left a message for the company and received a return call from Nick within the hour. Nick provided the cost for the job and scheduled an appointment that fit into my schedule. Nick said he would call before the appointment as a reminder and he kept his word. He showed up on time and completed the job within 30 minutes. Nick was courteous, professional, pleasant, dependable and did a great job. I highly recommend this company.

Being a Center City turn-of-the-century era house, the front door has an old mortise lock. Hard to find new and not in big box hardware stores. While initially reluctant for a call to a residence, locksmith was on time and called before he came. Was able to repair the lock in very short time. Price seemed quite reasonable as it was a house call and a new lockset was not needed.

I called and set up an appointment for the next day. They called around 12 in the afternoon to make sure someone was home, and said they would be there in 30 minutes, and they were. Sal came. He was fast, and polite.

I called to schedule a specific time a few days later in the week with no problem. The employee arrived at the requested time on the scheduled day, and had everything he needed to complete the job. He was done in about 15 minutes, and left me 4 keys (without me having to ask for extras). This was very painless, and I would definitely use them again. I think the price was average, based on what I've seen for other places. But, I gave it a B because for 15 minutes of work that's a steep hourly rate. Regardless I would still use them again, since it was a great experience, and they did a good job as well as being there on time.

The experience was a very positive experience and the work was well done. The gentleman who installed the lock was courteous, prompt and efficient. I will hire them for all of my locksmith needs.

The locksmith was prompt, polite, and very helpful. He was happy to give advice on types of locks we should consider and the safety of our home. Our door is older, and we are considering installing another lock. He offered to find an older lock that would fit in with the existing hardware and door.
