I started with them and he is the best plumber I have ever had. Once he comes in and does the job there is no problem and if he comes out and there's no hassle there's no charge. He put the toilet in for me 2 weeks ago. He came out and put a toilet in a third floor apartment.

He was here July of 2014. It cost $250. He is the best plumber I have used.

Small leak in shut-of valve in the basement ceiling. I've had the small leak for almost a year and kept a little pail on the floor to catch the water/drips. I promised myself to get it fixed this year, but I've had bad experience with plumbers. Which is why I decided to join Angie's list, to eliminate another bad experience. And I did!! Mike, from Sullivan was wonderful!! Fixed the problem and I didn't have to pay a mortgage payment for a not so big job! Thanks Angie's list and thanks reviewers for helping me decide who to come into my home and treat me with respect!

On a very busy, snowy day Thomas Sullivan & Sons was one of the few businesses to answer my panicked calls. They were too busy to do the work but recommended me to James-Michael Fay Corporation who promptly saved us. After spending the morning in a flooded basement and calling multiple vendors, I really appreciated the timely return phone call.

We have used Thomas Sullivan for approximately 5 years, as our plumber of choice, and they have ALWAYS been GREAT to work with. They are quick to respond, very professional, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend them. On this occasion, we actually did not use their services. That's the reason for all the "N/As" in our rating. However, I feel compelled to give Sullivan an overall rating of A because they responded to our panicked call within an hour, and were very helpful and professional. It was an emergency -- our tenants had a blocked drain -- and Thomas Sullivan could not take the job because it was a Saturday and they were already over-booked for the day. However, the Sullivan person I spoke to on the phone recommended another company (James Fay Plumbing / Drain Cleaning -- will post review on this company too). I really appreciated the fact that Sullivan gave us a recommendation when he couldn't do the job.

My old one was 18 years old and I wanted to get a new one installed before any unwanted surprises happened with my old unit.

I found this provider on Angie's list last week and, based on the reviews thought I would give them a try. I called and made an appointment for today, September 3rd. Early this morning, I received a confirming call and thirty minutes later one of the brothers arrived. (I was remiss in getting his first name.) I had a clogged sink, two running toilets, and a water heater in need of a lower element - issues I had been putting off. Shortly after arriving and examining my issues, the gentleman got to work and resolved all issues. The brother who came to my house was courteous and efficient. He brought his young son with him. The boy was a pleasure to have on my house. His father should be proud.

I've been using Thomas Sullivan & Sons Plumbing & Heating for a while. Tom is talkative and likes to socialize. He knows the work, tells you what he thinks, and I know this man will do quality work for a reasonable price. He does a thorough job that competitors won't do, shows up on time, and cleans up after himself. If I have a problem I call Tom from Thomas Sullivan & Sons Plumbing & Heating even if it's only to give me an idea of how much it will cost. I trust him and he's my #1 plumber.

They did a great job but also it is a very old unit..and i also needed some help from the Gas Company and subequently had to make use of the city program for low income families. But the company above are very reliable and do a fine job for quite a few issues i have had and would have no problem recommending them to anyone for service. They always return calls..prompt and very polite and if they cannot make an appt or have to arrive late your called.

My wife was on the sofa with a fractured heel. We are both seniors and disabled. Mike suddenly acted like a policeman and said "is that your car in the driveway with the (2012 political) bumper sticker on it"? I said "yes ". He went on a very rude critique' of our choice for office and spoke about his "acid test" for a candidate. I mean, he had a small boy assisting, so I was limited in what I could say. You would think he felt that my wife and I were criminals, not his customers. Unknown to me, my wife was crying about this verbal attack on me in the other room. It was all I could do to make-out the check, as he kept degrading me for the bumper sticker. I slept on it and decided that others need to know what went on. I worked 45 years as an engineer and then doctor of education and have never treated any of my co-workers or students with anything but professional courtesy. My advice is, if you need a good plumber and can risk having the wrong political bumper-sticker or lawn sign, then then this would be your choice. I intend to go with a professional who is there to do a job, not insult and preach at his customer. I have always used Angies "A"'s to work on our home. How can one screen something like this?

Nothing but excellent experience I can report here. The best price (by far), responsiveness, job done on schedule and on budget, not a penny over the estimate. Cleaned up after job is done. All phone calls returned promptly, excellent communication, never late for appointment, estimate, service is great, job done very well. Highly recommend his services to everybody. Will definitely use his services in a future if needed.

Mike returned my call the next day and showed up on time on the day of the repair. He is always knowedgeble and works quickly. The total transaction took less than a hour.
