Ron (Ron Thomas) installed 6 vinyl windows (Roma windows on Washington Ave. was the manufacturer). The $2000 above is the price of the labor and the windows. I think the windows were about 250/window and Ron charged 125/window for the installation. He installed the 6 windows in 2 days (1.5 really). He came out first and provided me with an estimate. I was happy with the price so I called him and he came out again to measure. He then put the order through at Roma (I was happy to not have to deal with it and I had seen Roma windows on some other houses near mine so I knew what they'd look like). About 10 days later, he installed the windows. I thought this was pretty prompt service. Anyway, I love the windows, the fit is great, no drafts, they are easy to clean. Ron also did what I believe to be a superb job making a nice presentation of the windows. Clean caulk job, nice craftsmanship on the trim, etc...they look better than many houses on my block IMO. I checked a couple of other installers, including Guida which was very expensive (basically double) and they told me that they would have a hard time installing a small window that I wanted in a bathroom. Ron did it with ease. Looks great, I highly recommend his work.
