Description of Work: I scheduled the move with Tom, who offered me a flat rate for the travel time, so traffic and gas and food stops would not add to the total amount due. He also gave me a small break on his original quote, when I told him I had found another company who could do it cheaper. On moving day, two friendly guys showed up on time to pick up furniture and other items at an inside, second floor storage unit at the Jersey Shore. They then picked up more items at a second floor dorm room at St. Joe's University, and delivered it all to a second floor apartment in Lower Merion. They were deliberate and careful with everything, there was no damage, and the move was completed efficiently in the time expected. All in all, a painless move.

 + -1 moreWe spent too much. We would not recommend them. It took too long and the truck was too small. We had to pay for the truck and they had to do two trips. Things got damaged. The guys were great and very nice people but they were very inefficient. We've used other movers before that did a much better job. They were a little late. They were college kids and they worked hard in the heat but inefficiently. They were not professional movers.
Description of Work: We used Sultans of Schlep for an in town move.

 + -1 moreThe gentlemen showed up on time, with the truck and were very polite and professional. They quickly and carefully packed all of the boxes and odd items and furniture in the truck. We had a long drive but they drove carefully with all my belongings. We arrived safely and without taking a break they jumped right in and unloaded the truck, placing everything in the house, in the rooms where it belonged. During the whole process they were diligent and polite.

 + -1 moreThis was a killer job. I had alot of stuff and the stairs were a long four flights. They stayed in contact with me before the move and during. The guys were all polite and personable. Thank God they all had a sense of humor because it was ALOT of work. They never got crabby or became careless with my stuff and nothing got broken. It was a difficult and long day but they managed to make it fun (as possible)They were careful to put the stuff in the rooms were i labeled the boxes and even managed to get furniture through narrow corners in this old house that i truly thought would be impossible. I would highly recommend them.
Description of Work: Moved me and my art studio down 4 flights of stairs to a home 3 hours away
