STRAIGHT LINE BUILDERS INC

My budget was $17000. I gave them a budget and they lived within it. Their price was appropriate. My experience with them was ok. There were some things that they had done which I did not really like. There was a problem with the radiator that they had installed and could not get a level. So, it was coming off separating from the wall. I had some other smaller issues as well. They always knew better than I and that was not what I wanted as it could be frustrating. I got what I wanted. I guess I would recommend them to other members. They would not be a waste and would get the work done. They would be prompt and honest. I would not use them in the future as I found another service provider that I prefer at this point.

Great - wayne was very professional and helpful

He showed up on time, when he scheduled the appointment; he quoted a cost of $22,000; however, when I asked him where he got the number, he said he got it out of a hat. I had asked him to break down the costs, showing material and labor cost separate. When he came back to walk through the home again, he wanted to tell me what I wanted instead of listening to me and what I actually wanted. He gave me another quote for $19,000, but the costs still weren't broken down to show the cost of materials and labor. I mentioned that he did have the prices separate to show the costs for materials and labor, he said, "I am not going to do that for you or anyone else." This was very unprofessional and I would not recommend this company to anyone.

SLB arrived early every day during the three days of installation. I was very satisfied with the overall appearance and work. There were a few snags due to the size of the kitchen, but SLB was able to work them out to my satisfaction without incurring any additional fees.

Wayne found the perfect fitting doors to my old condo. The openings prior to getting a renovation were un-usable. Opening the existing doors was hazardous because they could not be closed properly. The existing doors were from 1961 when the condo association was created. The frames above the doors were rotted from water damage. The doors also included outside screens which are hinged instead of sliding, so there really is no cleaning involved. The kitchen ceiling had suffered water damage from a neighbor's leaking pipe, although the leak was quite small, Wayne was able to find it, replace the pipe for my neighbor and fixed my ceiling. His timing and work mates were exceptional. His team was prompt, courteous, honest and fast. I am extremely pleased with his service. City dwellers note: (He does not mind finding parking. Which is a critical complaint from contractors from the mainline and the Northeast.) Wayne will get it done, right, on-time and in budget!!!!
