My wife and I needed our bathroom updated since it hadn’t been worked on since the 70s. I did some of the demo myself and Steve did the remaining demo and rebuilt the bathroom which included moving the shower and changing a linen closet into a laundry closet. While he was working on the bathroom, I was working on other parts of the house. Steve did an amazing job with our bathroom. He is detail oriented, has a professional demeanor, and is fair when it comes to pricing. An added bonus was that he gave me advice when I asked questions about other projects around the house. He also let me use his tools. The overall project took about 2 months which included his help on a few other side projects around the house. I felt like our bathroom was in good hands throughout the whole process and the final outcome looks better than my wife and I imagined. I would certainly recommend him to take care of any of your remodeling needs. I’m planning on using him for our other bathroom when we’re ready for that.

Called Steve today, 10-9-19, asking for him to come to my house to get a quote. He told me he was too busy to take on my project!! Wonder why he still ls listed on Angie’s list if he is too busy to take on additional projects. Just wondering

It went very well Two men came who were very nice friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They did an excellent job of painting my step, rails, wooden bilco doors, and one side of patio. When they were finished everything was left in pristine condition. Will use The Neighborhood Handyman from Mt Laurel again and recommend him.

Steve was professional and responsive. He offered solutions to the problems and quoted a fair price. The work was completed on time and the final bill was actually lower than the quote. An honest contractor.

Steve is a good guy and provided service in a timely fashion. I reached out to him via angies list and he called me back a day later and then came over and gave a estimate on that day (Saturday). The work was completed the following week and he did a great job. He showed up when he said he was going to and finished the work when he said it was going to be completed. He also emailed me pictures of the work and the final result. He was responsive to both text messages and phone calls. I would/will be using him again in the future.

My tenant had a leaky faucet and the first plumber we called said that he couldn't do the work because he would need to knock through some drywall to get to the leak. I found Steve on Angie's List and gave him a call to see if he could take care of it. He came out the next morning to take a look and said that he could easily fix the leak directly without needing to go through the drywall. He came by the following morning and fixed the leak. I am so grateful for Steve's quick response and his excellent work. I will definitely call him again.

I called them twice and they didn't respond, also didn't return my call.

The bedroom was in bad shape, and we needed it done quickly, as our daughter and her husband were visiting in less than a week's time. Steve did an outstanding job in our short time frame. He also completed some minor repairs around the house. I found Steve to be professional and dependable. I plan to use his services again in the near future.

Steve, was prompt, professional, and completed the jobs. No issues with the work. With it being so hard to find handymen willing to take on small jobs, and not totally over-charge you, I think the price was fair. I would definitely recommend and hire Steve again.

My 100-year-old home has been only lightly renovated and retains most of the original plaster and woodwork. Steve provided a reasonable quote, with the caveat that the whole thing depended on what he found when he opened up the ceiling...and that turned out to be not much to work with. Steve ended up putting in a full afternoon of work, which included creating a safe attachment point for the fan box, and he did it largely with spare materials he had on hand, helping to keep the cost down. I'm very happy with the work.

I didn't use Steve because what I needed completed on my home was out of his scope of work. He responded right away, I would use him in the future.

It went really well. I have an old weird house and Steve was able to get it all sorted out and made everything look nice. He also tidied up when he was finished.

Steve was great in terms of communicating his time of arrival and his plan to resolve the problem. He addressed the issue I had in a timely and professional manner. I am very pleased with his work.

I never got a response to my question. He left a voice mail and I tried him at the number several times and did not get a response. This weekend he just emailed me again and said they can do it on October 27th, which is too late for me. I can not say anything regarding the quality of his service, because we never got that far. Please reimburse my money and cancel his service. I will find someone local. He is from New Jersey and I live on the western side of Philadelphia.

I called these people and left a message that I needed their help with a rather urgent project. I received no call back and waited foolishly for 3 days to post this review. Do not count on these people for anything as they don't even give the courtesy of a call back.

The drywall in the ceiling was breaking loose. I called Steve to examine the ceiling and he told me he would have to open the ceiling up to determine what had to be done. He removed the entire ceiling and found it overfilled with blown-in insulation. An additional six contractor bags of insulation were found sitting on the ceiling joists, adding approximately 400-500 pounds of extra weight. In addition, there weren't enough fasteners holding the drywall in place. Steve reframed wood and corrected everything to make that ceiling strong. He called me over to inspect his work before he put the drywall back in place. He did a wonderful job of putting in new insulation. I was so impressed with his work. I was desperate to find someone who could do the work right away and he came through for me. Steve's work is top notch and I recommend him highly.

A terrible experience. Steve did not respond to our requests to schedule a second day to finish the simple job he started... but he did send a string of erratic requests demanding payment. We paid him for the partial work so we can move on. We should have trusted our instincts during the estimate.

Steve is great. He is Extremely responsive, knowledgeable and it is obvious he cares about customer service and takes pride in his work.

Prompt and perfect. This was a very small job that I can't do myself due to age and arthritis and I was grateful that Steve was willing to do the work.

Stev was very responsive and professional and the work came in under budget. He also told me how to do one of the jobs I had planned for him which was in fact vry easy and he saved me money.

At the end of the job, Steve came up with the idea of putting the drawer to fit around the fights. It was snowing heavily that day but he stayed the extra time to make the drawer work.

i hired steve to install a stair kit in a loft condo. the job ended up being a bit more time consuming then any of us expected, Steve was fair and upfront with pricing and completed the job. He was even gracious enough to do the installation over the weekend. much appreciated. The stairs look great and I would totally hire Steve again.

He was very thorough. He found that I needed backer board in one area and installed that. He reglued the tiles after adding the board and caulked the tub. In addition, he removed a bad clog in my bathroom sink. He communicated well and did what he said he would.

Steve did an excellent job! I needed some windows and doors caulked (to block out cold air), and I needed to have my tub re-caulked. He did both jobs quickly, carefully, and professionally. I would definitely use him again.
