The door is just beautiful. The insulation around it lets me know my house will be warmer this winter. The garage ceiling was also well put together. I was very pleased with the work and would recommend Steve to others.

It went pretty well. He encountered some problems because the last one wasn't installed correctly. I guess my only complaint was that we prefaced our appeal to him by saying that it appeared to have been installed improperly before and he gave us an estimate based on him having no problems, then acted all surprised when he got in there and found that it was previously botched. We already knew that it was going to be a problem. He may have just been distracted and didn't hear this part when we described the job. He added some additional charge for the additional work and it was reasonable for the amount of work done. He did show up right away and threw in some additional little jobs as a bonus. Overall thumbs up and well recommended.

Steve was great. He responded to my initial query quickly, and came soon after to provide an estimate. We thought the estimate was quite reasonable for the work we asked him to do. He completed the tasks competently and responsibly and cleaned up afterwards (even taking away some of *our* trash!). We actually added some jobs to the list which he also completed, only charging us a very modest sum beyond the original estimate. Throughout our interaction, he was polite and a good communicator. I would not hesitate to hire him again. Excellent handyman.

I haven't heard anything from him and he didn't show up to do the services.

Steve gave us a good price to perform the work. We gave him a house key so that he could work undisturbed during the day. Steve started the day he was slated and worked until the job was finished. He arrived early and worked late as we wanted to have the project completed by Memorial Day. We actually had to ask him to stop one night and get some rest. He worked very cleanly and was unfailingly polite and cheerful. It was a good experience working with Steve and I will most definitely call him back to work in our basement laundry room to make it a more pleasant environment.

Very polite, very helpful, very friendly and he did very good work. He was also very courteous. Additionally, he cleaned up well when he was finished.

Steve was just great. He was responsive, professional and worked the whole time he was at my home. I am very pleased with the work he did. His repairs were done very well, not just bandaids on a problem. I would definitely recommend Steve for any kind of handyman work.

Steve was great. He is a professional from start to finish, and did a great job on the shower, and a fabulous job on the tile work. His work was so good we had him come back to replace some broken tiles in the kitchen, which because of the deteriorated nature of the original install there, turned into replacing the entire floor with new tile. Once again Steve did a great job. He is neat, cleans up, and very pleasant to have around. A great experience. I would recommend him to anyone.

Mr Gengaro personally answered my phone call to inquire after his repair services. We agreed on an inspection date to occur within two days of the call. He showed up at the property promptly. We surveyed the work needing to be done, discussing any other work desired. An estimate was supplied the next day and a schedule for the work to begin agreed upon. Once the down payment was agreed upon and received, work was started. Mr Gengaro is quite personable and kept me well informed of the progress and any issues uncovered during the repair. Despite the relatively confined space, the water damage was expected to be extensive and required additional work above the original estimate to be performed. This had been discussed prior to work beginning and Mr Gengaro requested approval before any additional tasks were undertaken. The work was completed in a very timely manner with absolutely no complaints by building management and no issues with neighbors. Final inspection of the work performed revealed an impressive job, repairs completely done and the space refreshed. All refuse was removed and the re-laid carpet vacuumed. An excellent job for which I was not hesitant to remit the complete balance due. Thanks, Steve!

Overall, the service went very well.

It went very well. I called Steve and he returned my called immediately. We scheduled a time to give an estimate. He was prompt and gave a very detailed estimate. We scheduled when the work would start and he came and we discussed the job in detail , including how much time it would take. The work began by removing the divider wall in the powder room. Removed a light fixture and exhaust fan. He then installed a new exhaust fan that was not in the original plan. He installed the pipes for the new sink. He had to work in my crawl space in the basement to accomplish this. A wall cabinet was installed, a new floor and sink. This was done in the time we talked about. He then returned a couple of weeks later to change out my bathroom sink and moved the toilet. He was very responsive to any changes I wanted.

We got Steve to install custom window screens. He was extremely responsive, he was willing to work late and during weekends to work around our schedule. He was prompt and finished the work on time. The fact that I could communicate to Steve through texts and emails and get a response within a reasonable time was a big plus for me.

We called Steve and make arrangements for him to come by later in the day to look at the project and to give an estimate.He arrived at the time he said he would and gave a reasonable price so he just did it right away. We were very happy withthe job and would hire Steve again.

Steve was great - he was prompt and prepared to complete a wide variety of jobs - caulking electric, fixtures. Would absolutely recommend him.

Unfortunately I have to change my original review which was a glowing one. After the first round of drywall and spackle, I noticed it cracking in two spots on the day he returned to finish the job. He started to repair the cracks then ended up having to tear out half of what he had already done and informed me it would cost almost as much as the original job did to "fix" this again. There hadn't been any leaks that caused the cracks and he explained that he "probably" should've waited to do the second coat because of how saturated the ceiling was. This was something that he - the professional - should have known and should have told me. I felt very manipulated at first and thought that perhaps he had intentionally "made a mistake" so he could charge me more money but the more we spoke, I think he just isn't very experienced at this and his mistake ended up costing me extra time and money. I was also pretty disappointed to learn that the one other review he had which was very positive and is what I based a large part of my decision to hire him on initially was written by his girlfriend. All in all, it was a pretty unpleasant experience and I'm sure it was just as unpleasant for him. I will not be calling on him again in the future.

It went very well. I had some ideas that weren't going to be as I pictured in my mind before starting the big project of the kitchen. He has a very good eye & his finish work is what really makes him stand out. He helped me to get a better idea of how things would actually look & helped me to maximize the space in a small area without making it feel closed in. I would suggest telling him your expectations for the finished product, but then listen to his design ideas as well. He has a better idea of how things will look than you probably do. He will not try to talk you into anything and will be very mindful of your budget. He is willing to price jobs out on a per diem basis or give a whole-project estimate -- however you want him to do it. The tile work was the finishing touch. I almost spent three times what I ended up spending, but I found the exact hand-painted access tiles that I wanted on the innet & saved a bundle. Take your time & make sure you get exactly what you want.
