Safe Surface Concrete Inc

I had just been quoted $1900 to $2000 from a company that pumps foam to lift sinking concrete. Saw Frank’s add in local paper and called for a second opinion. He and one other guy came out on day and time agreed upon and lifted the steps, stabilized them with concrete and packed the sides with earth. Entire job took a couple hours at about one sixth the price. I am very satisfied. Frank was very nice and easy to talk with.

Frank came out to give an estimate and both parties agreed for him to do the job. The brick was apparently ordered, came in, and frank gave start date. No one showed up for he job. After several failed returned calls I called from a different number with an answer. He gave the run around that he and his brick layer had words and no longer works for him. The conversation ended with him saying he was coming over to explain and figure out options to me face to face. Well guess what, he never showed. Very unprofessional conversation and business.

I emailed the provider with a description of the work and photos and never received a response. This is precisely the reason I joined Angie's List; I want access to reliable, responsive, quality contractors but I guess the vetting process does not filter out all the contractor that do not meet that description.

Frank responded to my request for an estimate immediately. He was professional and a pleasure to work with. He and his crew take pride in their work, and they do a great job cleaning up as well. Frank was there throughout the whole project and made sure it was done right. I would use his services again without question. I got a new sidewalk at a great price. He even gave my neighbor a break on his sidewalk as he needed a couple of blocks replaced as well. Highly recommended.

The date of contact is an estimate but it was in the summer of 2013. Frank set up an appt. for an estimate with us. It rained, he never showed up or called. Of course, we moved on to other contractors. We understand that appointments may be cancelled but we also expect communication.

Workers remove old cracked concrete, mixed and poured new concrete . Cleaned up and roped off area. I am very satisfied with the concrete work.

Perfection ! Frankie (owner) and his guys are concrete rock stars! Safe Surface replaced entire length of sidewalk in front of house and driveway apron. Frank take great pride in his work and his finished product reflects it. Hand finished work showed great attention to detail. Work came out beautiful and made great suggestions along the way.

Great ! We had used Safe Surface previously on a sidewalk replacement and the magic continues. Frank and his staff used their artistry to return an stone wall to its previous glory. Safe Surface rebuilt about 30ft of wall. Supplied additional stone to finish project and repointed entire 60 foot length. Cleaned up, Picked up and left site beautiful in addition to the great looking wall. Safe Surface is definitely my concrete guys!

The price was good, the work was done quickly, they had a great response and cleaned up after themselves.

They came when they said they would; they showed up on time. They cleaned up everything. Their quality of work was excellent and they were very responsive.
