Royal Value Landscaping

A few weeks of visits and back and forth with planning the project. I even designed/sketched exactly what I wanted and gave Romeo a copy. All he had to do was give me and estimate and execute! The start date was set and he never showed up. Called several times and got no response! Apparently this is this company's MO! He's done this to many of my neighbors. Shameful because the they do beautiful work whenever and if ever anyone shows up! I will be highly upset if I see my designs anywhere in Philadelphia!

I spoke with Romeo, the owner, who did some work on a house a few doors down. I asked him to make a garden nothing really specific just something nice and easy to take care of. The work took 3 days and it was ok. when I asked him to place decorative rocks at the bottom of the garden near to the sidewalk he said ok. I never heard back from him..I left countless voicemails and he never responded. He got paid but never finished the job. Also he left a pile of trash against the sidewalk. Very unprofessional!

I used this company in the past and found the work to look good on the surface but to be lacking in actual execution. The first time he was here, I asked the owner to remove a bush from the rear of the house. When I returned from work, I found that the bush had been cut all the way down but not removed as requested. The owner told me that it would grow back nicer the next year, so it was better not to remove it. This bush is still a constant headache to me, and I will now have to hire someone else to actually remove it. I also had vines growing on my house, which I asked him to remove. He said that he would kill the root, causing the vines on the house to dry out and fall off and that he and his crew would come back to remove whatever was left. This was last year. They never came back. In addition, the roots were not fully destroyed because the vines are overtaking my property again. There is a long list of other items that were requested but never completed, including removal of dead bushes. There was one bush that was supposedly removed to put another in its place. However, I discovered this year that the original bush was never completely removed but rather was merely cut down like the other bush I had wanted removed, so now it is growing behind and around the new bush. Other problems include workiers trampling my drain pipes and dragging work out over a long period of time. I contacted the owner this year only because I couldn't reach the people who had been mowing my lawn. He did send someone out for that, but when I later contacted him about the removal of the bushes that should have been done previously, he said he would come out but he never did and he is now not answering my calls. It has been over a month, and I will now have to pay someone else to do what I have already paid him to do.

They do a nice job. They are very dependable. They bill me once a month. My husband had liked them the best from a couple of companies he had looked. They can also do snow removal in the winter, provided I inform them in advance. Their price is same as the other companies. They are very professional.

He asked to be paid in cash which should have been a red flag. He didn't discuss flower selections with me. I came home one day and there were flowers and plants. I had seen other jobs he had done which is how I found him. The assortments of plants that he planted for me are not compatible to each other nor to a shady area. I asked him to tell me how to care for my plants, he never did. He was supposed to come back for regular maintenance. Once he got paid, I have never heard from him again and he does not answer his phone when I call.
