I was very pleased with them setting up with the delivery. They came the time they said they were. So far I have had no problem with the appliance. They also hauled away the old refrigerator. They were in and out very quickly.

On February 15,2012, Anthony Chiarlanza the owner of Lanza Construction sent me to his friend Jules at the Robert Stevens Scratch and Dent Appliance store at 7119 Rising Sun Ave.Mr. Chiarlanza said that his friend had double ovens for sale for only $2,000. I was told by Mister Lanza not to talk prices of the things that I buy because he could get his friend Jules to come down on price. I also told Jules that I wanted a 5 year warranty on each item I purchased. Mr. Lanza came to where I lived and gave me a list of the items that I purchased on a regular piece of paper which had the cost of each item and the cost of the warranty on it. I gave Mr. Chiarlanza a total of $7,182.00. I was charged $3,050.00 for the double ovens and not the $2,00.00 that i was told. In fact all the prices seemed very high to me. Mr. Lanza knew that I wasn't happy about the prices , so he said that he would pay for the warranty himself which cost $475.00. I was told that when the items were delivered I would get the real receipt and warranty. For some reason Mr. Chiarlanza went back to the store and changed the delivery address to his office address and not my home. All of the appliances except the refrigerator were eventually delivered to my home. Mr Chiarlanza kept giving me excuses each time I asked for a receipt and the warranty for the items. Mr. Chiarlanza never did deliver that refrigerator to date. In May of 2012, I went to the Robert Stevens appliance store on Street Rd., and asked for a receipt for my appliances . Thats when I found out the truth. Mr. Chiarlanza over charged me $1,425.60 for my items, and that warranty that I was suppose to get doesn't exist! I called Robert Stevens Appliances and they said that I didn't buy my appliances off of them; they said that i bought the items from a contractor. They also told me that it is perfectly legal for a contractor to charge more than the store. When I asked about the warranty she said the warranty should have cost $375 not $475. She said that my fight was with the contractor and not with Robert Stevens. This company wouldn't even give me a piece of paper stating that I had no warranty on my appliances. I will leave it up to other consumers to determine whether or not Robert Steven's Appliances are a reputable company or not. In March of 2013, I am going to court with Mr. Chiarlanza for the refrigerator and warranty with no help from Robert Stevens.
