 + -1 moreEven though we weren't able to work with this contractor, I wanted to write up a quick review just because I was so impressed that he took the time to spend a significant chunk of time going so carefully over the inspection, breaking down different options to address the concerns. He knew in advance that we needed the work done asap and that he wasn't available until a few weeks later, so knew in advance that he would likely not be making money on the project, yet spent the time to carefully and thoughtfully look at the inspection and offer his thoughts. He was highly recommended to us by our real estate agent, and we have heard good things about him from other sources as well. Although he did not ultimately perform any work for us, if we need an electrician in the future, he is at the top of our list.
Description of Work: We contacted Robert Monk to do some work for us, providing him with an inspection report of our home, asking him to come by and make an estimate. As it turned out, the timeline of his availability and ours didn't work out so we weren't able to use him as a contractor, but he responded with a VERY thorough e-mail going over the inspector's report, item by item, an e-mail response that must have taken him 45 minutes to put together.

 + -1 moreIt came under $1000 but he was the only electrician that we came across that was willing to be little bit innovative and a little explorative in putting an electric line for an electric car at curb side.
