Description of Work: Had a leaky bathtub faucet. Called them on a Monday and set up an appointment for the following Friday morning. When no one showed up on Friday, I called and they didn't seem to have my name down but said they could send someone within the hour. He arrived and did a fine job and apologized for the mistake. I have used Metzger in the past and they have been pretty reliable and will use them again in the future.

+ -1 moreROBERT IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND PERSONABLE, SOMETIMES TAKING UP TO AN HOUR OUT OF HIS SCHEDULE WHEN HE VISITED OUR REHAB SITE TO REVIEW WORK, PLAN, AND EXPLAIN WHAT'S GOING ON. UNFORTUNATELY, HIS PLUMBER AND HELPER SIMPLY DIDN'T SEEM TO WARRANT THE $500 PER DAY PRICE TAG. I OFTEN FELT THAT WORK WAS BEING DONE INEFFECTIVELY AND WITH POOR DETAIL-LEVEL PLANNING. I WOULDN'T MIND PAYING THAT PRICE IF THE QUALITY (WHICH WAS GOOD) AND QUANTITY (VERY SLOW PROGRESS) OF WORK WARRANTED THE PRICE.
Description of Work: INSTALLED REPLACEMENT 4 INCH CAST IRON SOIL PIPE, ROUGHED IN ONE BATHROOM (TOILET, TUB, VANITY-DRAINS AND SUPPLY LINES ONLY), ROUGHED IN ONE KITCHEN (SINK DRAIN AND SUPPLY, WATER HEATER DRAIN, WASHER DRAIN), PROVIDED AND SET ONE FIBERGLASS TUB W/ SURROUND, PROVIDED SECOND FIBERGLASS TUB W/ SURROUND, INSTALLED SUFFICIENT CAST IRON AND COPPER STUBBED DRAIN BRANCHES AND VENTS (BUT DID NOT ROUGH IN) FOR 3 OTHER BATHROOMS. TIME AND MATERIALS-TIME BILLED AT $500 PER DAY FOR ONE MASTER PLUMBER AND ONE HELPER. MATERIALS BILLED DIRECT, WITH A CASH DISCOUNT.
