Reiter Roofing

Reiter listened to my work around recommendation (most companies wanted to detach and reset the panels which is unnecessary and costly). Prices were fair and no trying to upsell me like other companies. Real easy to deal with and let me make a last minute change in color of the micro-bitumen material on front slope. Actually answer their phone and respond promptly.

After using other contractors without success to fix our leaky roof deck (which was leaking into a spare bedroom below) Reiter fixed the problem. What more can we ask for? Totally satisfied.

It went terrible. Warranty calls for them to come out up to two times. Sent out some kid in flip flops who claimed to repair the leaks. Roof still leaked after the 2nd time. After that they didn't return calls. Would NEVER recommend them.

They started this project in May 2015 and I was supposed to get a 2 year guarantee. They supposedly secured all of the shingles properly but they had to come out several times because shingles kept falling off of the roof or it visible that they were not attached properly. The last time that they came out I informed them that I was still having this issue and they informed me it was because of wind damage. The contract the does not state anything about wind damage.

Great. I had two other roofers come out that were not on time or did not call me back right away(days later). Reiter Roofing told me what to do before paying to have any repairs done. His name was Evan and was good to go. I was quoted $3000 for this repair from another roofer. Evan gave me his card and will send me an estimate if I decide in the future to get the roof recoated, which was just done 2 years ago. After dealing with this company, I will use them in the future. The two others just wanted to rob me.

Everything went fine. Roofers showed up as promised and chris the Forman before beginning came to go over with me any issues or concerns I had. Afterwards they completed the job and cleared up any yard mess that was created. The Forman chris had before and after pictures of my roof to go over with me. That's my only regret of entire process , that I had not asked for copies to keep in my records. Otherwise, could not have asked for more.

I called to schedule an estimate even though they came at the time I asked them not to, it was ok because I was home. They came shook my hand told me they would go up to the roof look at it and get back to me by Friday with an estimate. That was over a month ago. In the mean time, I got 2 other estimates and new roof. What a waste of everyone's time.

Great. Every conversation with them was a pleasant one. They came out within a reasonable time and from what I can see the work was executed well. Will update as the roof undergoes the summer storms but overall impressed.

Due to the weather, the job was delayed by one day. The roofers - Andy and Louie came on time and brought all the materials needed for the roof repair. They were professional. Once they removed the old shingles, they showed me the plywood and I told them that it was from inside the attic, we can see the water entering into the home. Therefore, they cut and removed the old wood and replaced them with new pieces cut to size. They were able to remove the aluminum siding and cover the window sill area to create a pitch to ensure the water would run alongside the metal and into the gutter instead of pooling in the area. The company offered a 2 year warranty on the repair which is more than what others had quoted me. They cleaned up and removed all the nails, wood, old shingles, etc. I am very, very happy with their service.

We had some delays due to the weather, but Michelle kept us up to date about when he would arrive. In fact we got a call today, 4/13 from Chalie to tell us he was on his way, & he had the shingles needed to finish the job. He called back a while later to say the job was done, and he even checked the surrounding shingles. Needless to say I was thrilled, I know our roof can be steep, but Chalie found a way! Great job Chalie!! Thanx to everyone @ Reiter for another job well done!

Chalie and his team were absolutely great, this was definitely a situation where he could have tried to sell me on services I clearly didn't need, but instead helped me to identify the actual problem causing a leak in my home. With this information I was able to actually get the problem fixed by a mason, rather than pay for roofing services I didn't need. Absolutely plan on using Reiter Roofing in the future if I need anything done, and would recommend their services to anyone else.

The work they did was good and they give you a 15 year warranty if you have them come back and maintain it every 4 years. However after I got a written estimate I was told my roof would be done with in 2 weeks and it took them a month to come out and do it so it was a pain having to repeatedly call them.

They did an outstanding job. I would use them again and have recommended them to my friends and neighbors. They showed up to do the estimate when they said they would. And then showed up to do the work. They were professional in everyway.

Chalie had called me back and we set up an appointment. He was able to visually inspect the roof and I gave him access to the attic to see the state of the wood boards. I already knew it would need a full replacement and expected many of the boards needed to be replaced. I would consider many of the areas not safe to walk on as it had extensive water damage. The roof only recently sprung a leak in the last heavy wind and storm we had but water damage was visible. The initial estimate I received was @5000. Nick stopped by the day before the work was to be done to check out the roof and prepare for the work. They also had the shingles delivered at that time. They were friendly and gave me realistic expectations of the cost after they climbed on the roof to inspect the strength more closely. They then told me that the price would probably be between 6500 & 7500 depending on the amount of boards. The plan was to load the shingles on the roof for the next days work, but they reconsidered and loaded into the driveway for safetey. They arrived @730am with 2 trucks, 4 workers and began work. I provided a camera and they were willing to take pictures of the work before, during and after. The work spanned 2 days from morning to dusk on Sat & morning to @5pm Sun. I was very happy with the work and piece of mind with a solid roof. It was more money than I hoped but can't say it was unexpected. The price ended up being @7000. The next day after the work was done, Barry had left a voice mail asking how the work was and if I was happy. I did appreciate that even though I didnt get a chance to call him back yet. I think thats a classy thing to do since usually after work is completed you dont expect to hear back from the contractor. The only issue I had was they were unable to secure a dumpster and because of that they needed to drop the torn down roof debris onto the driveway. Both days they did clean up the entire driveway before they left, so the concern was only during work hours. Overall I had positive experience and would recommend them to others

Did a job estimate very quickly so I could have it when the insurance investigator showed up at the site. Also did work very quickly to avoid any further wind or rain damage. Two groups did the repairs, one to do the roof repairs and another for the siding repairs.

Chalie gave me an estimate. After which I called a few other companies to do the same. I'd show them the damage inside so they would know where to go outside. Needless to say every one of those companies were trying to push a new roof on me . Me being a new homeowner, I grew worrisome as they told me my roof was in bad condition. So I contacted my home inspection company. I talked to the owner of the company and told her my experience and she assured me that I didnt need a new roof. I read her the estimates and when I read to her Reiter Roofing's she was pleased. She told me that I would getting exactly what needed for my roof and was happy that Chalie never mentioned anything about "new roof" as the others. And also that he wasnt trying to intimidate me. Today is repair time: John and his partner arrived on-time and were very professional. They wasted no time getting right to work. I asked for before and after photos which I saw and that were sent to me. They sealed everything that they were supposed to seal. After seeing the wall in my home John went on the upper roof to look around. Sealing some cracks up there as a courtesy. Which was Great. John also gave me a few recommendations for things I may need in future, which was great for a heads up. From all the worrying to now it was the better than I could imagine. I was even given a 1 YEAR GUARANTEE: Reiter Roofing will return up to two times in a course of one year from completion of work to make additional repairs if needed to stop leaks, should they occur. One thing I like is when a company stands behind their products and labor which Reiter Roofing is doing!! I have already recommended this company to my sister and will continue to do the same to my friends if I'm ever asked. Thanks Again

19137they showed up on time for estimate and started work shortly after. John and his crew did a great job even in the rain and cold. Complete clean up during and after all work. Painted the porch and chipped my paint to match what the color was before they started the job. I thought this was above and beyond, but that's me. Completed job on schedule and were very polite and helpful. Waited so long because I wanted to be sure about the weather worthiness of the job. No leaks and holding. Thanks guys!!!

I had a horrible experience. They said I did not need to be there when they did the original work. They said they repaired it, but they didn't. It was still leaking within a couple of days after they left so I called them back several times because it was ruining my ceiling. It took about three weeks for them to even come back out. When they finally did come out they said initially they repaired the neighbor's roof. They said they accidentally did the wrong roof. Then they said it would take them a week or two to come out and repair my roof -- after I had already paid them and my roof was leaking worse and worse. They did not do anything about the ceiling. They came out again, supposedly did a patch job and the ceiling was still leaking. I had to call in another roofer and had to get a whole new roof. Reiter Roofing, they are the worst. They charged me $650 but they did absolutely nothing. I spoke with someday named Michelle and she was so mean and unprofessional. I have looked at comments other people have made and it is in there; Reiter Roofing is just horrible. I used them five or six years ago and they were fine but last year I don't know if they changed management or owners. When they were supposed to come back they did not come and they did not call.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Reiter Roofing. Chalie did our estimate and gave us a great price on the service. When scheduling the service, staff at Reiter were incredibly accommodating. We needed to change the dates of service a few times and had a narrow window when we would be at home to greet the roofers, which we wanted to do in person. Reiter handled all our requests courteously and rearranged scheduling to fit our needs. The new fascia is gorgeous -- who knew it would make the difference to our exterior that it does. We couldn't be more pleased. I highly recommend using them!

Everything a contractor should be. Professional well written estimate that was done, worked clean and on time, answered any and all questions.

I called Reiter and got a prompt response. They came out and gave me an estimate. I love Reiter because they are HONEST! They could have said that I need a new roof but they told me I didn't need a new roof, I needed maintenance. Reiter is who I'll be calling for all of my roofing needs. Everyone I have had contact with from the company has been very professional an friendly.

In summary, Reiter arrived an hour and a half early, knocked on the wrong door, and inspected someone else's roof. We scheduled an appointment between 9-11am and my girlfriend took the morning off. We were awoken by the sounds of roofers at 7:30am looking at another house. It turns out these were Reiter roofers. After waiting until the end of the appointment at 11am, we called to find out where the roofer was. Reiter confirmed my address on their paperwork, suggested that they may have visited the wrong house, did not apologize for wasting our time, and could not commit to revisiting our street to look at our roof.
