Reiter Roofing

I had a large hole in the flat roof over an extension on my house. I called during the busy season in late September and they were frank about how backed up they were because of the hurricane and storms (I was immediately impressed because they actually responded to my call; other companies didn't). The estimator came out when I wasn't there and gave me an excellent price, lower than I expected. They did not demand any money up front. Happily, they were able to come two weeks earlier than they had estimated. Unfortunately, the estimator had not found the full extent of the damage and the workers had not brought sufficient supplies. The owner of the company came out to look at the extent of the repair needed and fetched more supplies. He was honest and said that he put pressure on his estimators to work fast and that was probably why the estimator had missed the rest of the damage. He also warned that they would have to raise the price because of the additional materials and time needed. He would have to postpone a couple of other jobs that day because mine would take longer. To their credit, they stayed to finish that day, working through lunch, and the job they did looks good. The final bill, when it arrived, was quite a bit higher than the original estimate but fair and in line with what I think are prevailing rates. The workers were excellent, the owner responsive when the job did not go as he had expected, and they finished the work neatly and on the same day. They also cleaned up very well. I would use this company again.

They gave a good estimate but we had to wait a few weeks for them to make it out. They did a good job and took some extra steps to make sure the job was finished.

They came to the house shortly after I contacted them to inspect the roof. And forwarded a detailed quote shortly there after. The price was fair. They followed through with the repairs in short order. Their work was neat and professional. And it was evident that they cared about their reputation. I would have no problem recommending them to others.

Their customer service was excellent. They were very quick to respond and did great quality work. They cleaned up and left no mess behind. I was very statisfied and I would use their services again.

Very pleased with the service, Evan has been my contact for getting estimates and he's been great--- easy to work with, responsive, and delivers on what he promises. The work has been as expected and they mostly cleaned up. They are clearly quite knowledgeable which is difficult around old houses with slate roofs, but they have come through. This has been a much better experience than I have had with previous roofers.

After Reiter Roofing, Inc came out and a complete inspection of my roof as well as the room that had the leak, they provided an assessment of my roof and a very detailed estimate of the work to be performed to correct my problem as well as the cost. I was especially pleased to see the written 2 year repair guarantee. This has been an unreal season of rain, but they stayed in touch with me and kept me advised of my job status. The workers arrived when scheduled and performed the job as it was outlined. I was also impressed with the responsiveness of their office personnel. I would recommend this company to others.

Reiter Roofing was responsive and professional and their prices were reasonable. They came and did an estimate quickly and too digital photos of my roof to show me the problem areas. They came out to the house as soon as possible and completed the job in one day.

How did it go? When two days went by and Barry was unresponsive to my call, I called another roofing company around 8:30 at night. Danny, the other roofing company, came out first thing the following morning, up the ladder he went, let me know the source of the water penetration, and wrote up an estimate; all in about 1 hour.

They have came out to the property twice, once in heavy rain. The tenant was not available at the appointed time. I have been in constant contact with them and we are trying to schedule a date that is convienence for the both of us. They have been very patience and informative.

All work performed as contracted and agreed.

Evan was great. He called back very fast after I left messages, he showed up exactly on time both time, and he was really professional and nice when he came out to do the estimate. The roof looks shiny and new and I feel like they did a great job. They could have recommended a new roof, but instead, they said that the roof was in great shape and would last another 5 years with good maintenance, which confirms what our inspector said.

I told the office I worked 5 minutes away from home and requested a call. The call came and Challie and I arrived at the same time. He introduced himself, gave me his card, asked to see where the problem was and explained everything in detail that was wrong, what had to be done (in layman's terms) and when he would be back to get the work done. Welcome to my home!

The men came and handled this job expertly, with swift cleanup, and with obvious expertise and care. I feel I was given good counsel, excellent information about maintenance, when I should schedule a recoating, and a few other suggestions about house maintenance not even related to roofing. Communication was fast, excellent and informative. I would not hesitate to recommend Reiter Roofing to anyone, and am very glad to have found them through Angie's List.

I had a leak over my 2nd floor bumpout. I had gotten an estimate from another roofer who suggested replacing the entire roof. Reiter Roofing came and diagnosed the problem as a relatively simple pointing issue around a window and saved with a guarantee to come back if the problem was incorrectly diagnosed. It's rained a bunch since the fix and I haven't had any leaks!

They did a fantastic job for me. They were very responsive. They had team of three guys that worked for three days straight in the freezing cold. The owner, Berry, is very accessible. Not all of their solutions worked and they came back and fixed the issues promptly.

They were very responsive. Whenever I called them and they didn’t respond, they would call me back. They were quick. They told me exactly what they were going to do. They did it in one day which I was not expecting. When there was an additional issue, they called me right away and we were able to resolve it standing there. So I would be able to have it done in one day. I thought they did a great job. The original price was $3200 but then they had to add on because of that additional problem. So totally it came up to roughly $4000. I would use their services again in the future.

Very prompt response to initial phone call for estimate. He came out to the house and did a thorough evaluation, cleaned the gutter, and suggested I waited until the next rain to see if I still had leakage. After the next rain, HE CALLED ME to check in, and was out to the house within a week to make the repairs.

After having a very unsatisfactory experience with another roofing vendor which for some unknown reason continues to have an "A" rating on Angie's list, I called Reiter roofing to investigate the problem the prior vendor failed to fix to the tune of $2500. Reiter was very professional and punctual and what's more, gave the issue the patience and took the time to actually fully look over where the leak could have originated from and made appropriate revisions. Nice to have a company that doesn't just try to throw an idea against the wall and hope it sticks but actually investigates and does a good look over and through before advising of a solution. Greqat folks and I recommend them highly.

We were contacted by Reiter within two days of my initial posting. Spoke with Charile who was very kind and gracious. He apologized for any delay and service that we had experienced. During the two weeks of bad weather (snow & ice) we also were arranging withdrawals for payment of the job. Charlie did remind us that we did not request to be put on the waiting list schedule for first available openings (which in retrospect, we did not, because we were still arranging funds). After the two weeks had passed and we did contact Reiter again, there was such a back log of work from customers who had already scheduled service there was another week delay for the written estimate we had requested (Because this is part of an insurance settlement). By the middle of the fourth week, Charlie had been in touch with my husband (of which I was not aware) the day before I joined Angie's list. I was very upset. It was raining in my bedroom for almost a month. As of this point My roof will be fixed in 48-72 hours. Thank You for all your help Angie's List.

He is a local roofer, and he is always excellent. They have a local reputation here. Their responsiveness was good. They came and gave us an estimate. We live in a tall house, and they did the work while we were in the house, and I did not even know it. I do not understand roofing, but I was happy that they did not suggest that I needed a whole new roof. The roof does not leak anymore. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

Chalie came out to look at our leak and did a fantastic job finding the source. In the end, it was something I could fix myself and he was happy to have me do that. He was extremely helpful and generous with his time and was not looking for me to spend any money I did not need to spend. Fantastic and ethical service!
