Reiter Roofing

They did a really great job. They came out and gave me an estimate; it was a reasonable estimate. They had to cancel a couple times because of the weather; I understand they can’t go up on the roof when the weather is bad. When they did come out they came when they were supposed to and they cleaned up after themselves. I paid them the balance and it was fine. I think they did a good job. Since it is a roof I can’t go up there and look but I haven’t had any leaks. They were good about coming out when they said they would. If they had to cancel they called right away to reschedule. I would definitely recommend them; I thought they were really good.

I liked that their price was reasonable.

I contacted Reiter, made an appointment for an estimate, and they came as promised. I agreed to the price, made an appointment for the work, and their people arrived and completed the job on time and as promised.

They came out when I called and fixed my roof which 2 other contractors hadn?t been able to fix. They came back out twice to make sure the leak was gone. The second roof I had them repair was a great job as well. It rained the day after they did the work and the leak was gone.

The fella who completed the initial estimate was punctual and thorough. I'm waiting on a major rain to assess the quality of the actual repair work, but I this company was been professional from start to finish and I can say they did not harm the plants in my garden! Thanks, Reiter.

Great. I called and had someone come out to do an estimate within a week. I then scheduled service for 2 weeks after that. Everything happened on schedule and within budget.

We had no problem with the quality and timelieness of the work. I believe that the company did the work described in the estimate and did a satisfactory job. Mr. Reiter's terms were net 30 days and we had a problem meeting these terms as a result of an unexpected financial hardship. We sent the company a check for $250 of the $750 that we owed and I informed them that we would send balance as soon as possible. Following day 30, Mr. Reiter began to call me on a regular, at one point almost daily basis in what I can only describe as an abusive and harrassing manner. It is clear that Mr. Reiter has an anger management problem and my wife began to be fearful that Mr. Reiter may come to the house and have an outburst. I have never been treated so badly by a businessperson IN MY LIFE. Mr. Reiter was very unprofessional - threateded to "take the job back" and ridiculed me several times. I can understand that Mr. Reiter might become frustrated at not receiveing payment on time but we are talking days here - not months. Mr. Reiter has now been paid in full and I am glad to say that my relationship with the company has ended. An addition to the above. It turns out that the work done by contractor did not fix our problem. Leak returned after several heavy rains. Finally, we had a new roof installed (by another contractor) for an additional $4,000.00.

I called to get assistance from Reiter on a mystery leak. Steve was responded the next day after initial contact. We chose a date and time for him to look at our room. Evan was 10 minutes early for the appointment. He was a complete professional and referred us to another Angie's List member to further assist us as our leak didn't seem to be coming from our roof. Thanks Evan & Steve for a great experience! Whenever I do need roof work, you will be the first one I call!

Do verify exaclty what is covered in the completion, such as caulking,and trim. I assumed the caulking was included but it was not llisted on the contract. I used this contractor on two different rental properties,

I live in a rowhome and needed a new flat main roof. It took a few phone calls but I got a very reasonable estimate for a bitumen rubber roof (about $1000 cheaper than one of the others I'd gotten) and they came out in a few weeks, as promised. Of course, I can't see the roof of my house from the ground; they did such a great job of cleaning up that I had to call them to be sure they'd done the work! Once I went up on the roof I saw some things I had questions about (I'd never had flat roof work before and wasn't sure of a few things). When I called them, they sent someone out within a day or two and he answered my questions patiently and thoroughly. The roof even comes with a 15-year, transferable warranty as long as you get it coated every 4 years. Not bad!

We were very satisfied with them. They were very good. The job was well done. They came and took care of everything. We haven't had a problem ever since. I don't know anything about the price because my wife handled everything. We were happy with their service. They took care of everything and there are no problems since.

We have had a lot of leaks this year. Reiter Roofing came and gave an estimate - the best estimate we had gotten. They were also very honest. Our leaks are mainly coming from back stucco at the back of the house, but the roof needed some work too. They arrived 15 minutes early for the repair (which was great!) were quick and efficient and they left the house clean. They did exactly what they said they would do and charged exactly what they quoted. My husband and I couldn't be happier! Though we aren't done with our repairs yet, we are a step closer!

They weren't very responsive at first. I think they were overwhelmed with the amount of work that they received from Angie's List. They had to come back out again due to it still leaking. When they found out that there was a problem, they came out immediately. They were very apologetic. The problem still isn't fixed. They said that the glue may not work due to it being cold. I have not called them again to let them know it is still leaking. They were really nice and tried to be fair.

I liked that they were responsive by both phone and email. They came out when they said they would, and if they were not going to be able to make it, they gave me notice. I am going to use them again in the future.

After locating Reiter Roofing on Angie's List, I contacted them since they have great ratings. I was emailed back right away! After discussing the issue, Evan (a nice guy) was scheduled to come out to examine the area of concern. He took the time to explain everything to me. The entire process was quick and easy! After receiving the estimate soon thereafter, the price was almost exactly the same as the one I obtained. The only reason I decided to go with another roofing company was because they were able to do the job a little sooner. Otherwise, I would definitely contact Reiter again if I need other work completed!

I wanted to have the roof looked at just to make sure everything was fine - the roof is about 4 years old and done before we bought the house. They sent someone out very quickly, the gentleman walked the roof and took pictures, there was one area that could use a fix and he showed us where the bricks along the roof line needed re-pointing. We told him to fix the area that needed fixing and to spiff everything else up. This company doesn't do the brick re-pointing, we has someone else do that. Several days later we received a contract in the mail detailing the work and the price. We were told that they were super busy and since this was not an emergency did we mind waiting. We didn't mind at all. They contacted us several times to let us know we were on the schedule. It took about 5 weeks from the date of the contract for them to come and do the work. The foreman was nice enough to also fix a gap along the roof line which should have been done by the original roofer. He provided us with the before pictures and will be emailing the after pictures. I like that approach very much because we can't actually inspect the work ourselves. I was very pleased with that. All in all, VERY pleased and impressed with this company. Their workers are pleasant and polite and absolute gentlemen. Their customer service was excellent. Providing before and after photos is brilliant. <b>ADDENDUM</b>: I never received the "after" pictures as I was promised. I emailed them several times and got no response. There are two email addresses listed for them, one on the invoice and one on the web site. I tried the second email address - twice. I also asked that they deposit my check. After 3 weeks and emails to several email addresses my check was finally deposited but I never received the "after" pictures. To their credit, we recently had our home inspected and the roof was deemed "perfect" So I guess they did what they said. But I wanted those "after" pictures!+

Very impressive--work crew arrived on time and went to work immediately--wasted no time at all. The crew was pleasant, courteous, and professional. I will definitely use them in the future to maintain the roof.

The over all experience was good had one issue and it was handled immediately have no complaints

I just purchased a townhouse where the roof was redone by Reiter Roofing in 2008. During the home inspection for the sale, the inspector said the roof was an "amateur" job and should be redone. This work was performed for the previous owner. I have the receipt and itemized proposal. This review is based on the home inspector's opinion. I have had no contact with Reiter Roofing.

Reiter Roofing was recommended by neighbors. They cleaned and sealed and made sure everything was tight on roof as well as coated 2 bays with aluminum reflective coating. My primary problem was a leak that could not be corrected because it was under the heating/cooling unit on the roof. We had a lot of rain and water this year and all the roofers are busy. Barry Reiter returned multiple times over the next few months to try to fix the leak. In the end he was honest and told me that the only thing left was to lift the unit which in the end I did as it was replaced. I would recommend Reiter Roofing.

In a word, "outstanding." Reaiter Roofing called me after I had requested a quote through Angie's list. They explained that due to the wet weather they would not be able to take a look at the job for several weeks if I was willing to wait, which I was. I received a call from Evan after he had been to the property and provided me with a detailed quote over the phone which was then followed up with a written estimate. It was clear to me that the inspection was thorough and they offered a guarantee on all of their work. I approved the quote and was immediately put on their schedule. They showed up to do the work and all work was done to my total satisfaction. They cleaned up after the job was done. The entire experience was very, very positive. Reiter Roofing Inc. is a trustworthy company that is easy to work with. Their work is of the highest quality and they are reasonably priced. I highly recommend their services based on my experience. The service from Reiter Roofing was outstanding (particularly in comparison with other roofers I've contacted). They were responsive by email and phone, very helpful and professional, and stayed in touch regarding scheduling despite a heavy back-up in jobs related to the very wet season. I waited a couple of weeks, after which they contacted me to schedule the work, arrived on time and explained everything clearly. The team who did the work were careful (always removed their shoes in the house), friendly, respectful, and easy to talk to. They began the job exactly when they said they would, finished in the predicted time, and cleaned up admirably. I contacted Reiter with some follow-up questions after the job, and they responded immediately with helpful answers. I would definitely use them again, and would recommend them to friends.

They were great. They were easy to get in touch with and schedule with. When I contacted them after flooding, they were clear about how long I would have to wait and they would contact me if I had a cancellation. They were familiar with how these houses work which was comforting. I would recommended to them.

From beginning to end, a very courteous, punctual, and efficient team. Chalie came out to take a look at the roof, and even invited me up to walk through all the issues with him (which I did). The quote came that week, and they let me know in advance that they were really busy, and it would be a few weeks until they could come back to do the work. They came out, did the work, and left. I would definitely recommend them to others.
