A representative came out till my home. He was on time and very thoRough in his explanation.

Estimate date had to be changed several times because of weather. I received a phone call each time alerting me to that fact. - Professionalism beyond reproach. When weather finally cleared, service man called me at work to meet him (he was at house before I was). Explained in "layman's" terms what was wrong and what had to be done. Very friendly and extremely polite. Work was delayed a couple of days - I was alerted - again because of weather. When complete, I was told exactly what was done and what I should do to keep roof in good repair. I would definitely use them again.! The date and cost are not accurate as I am doing this from my place of employment and not from home. If I will be able to come back and put the correct information in I will.

Barry Reiter is an exceptional roofing contractor. What's great about him is that he calls you back almost immediately - even on a Sunday! HIs price is very reasonable and he comes when he says he is. He made an extra trip to my house to show roofing samples that I had not seen earlier. He's down to earth and dedicated to pleasing the customer. I WISH ALL CONTRACTORS WERE LIKE BARRY! There were a few minor issues at the end of the job (I am what you might call "picky") and he took care of them the next day. He is awesome. Don't hesitate to use this guy.

They were pretty good. I was happy with the work he did. It was a good experience 'cause I had a leak coming in from my second floor that I can't figure out where it was coming from and I told them about it and they figured out it was coming from the side of the chimney and I haven't had a leak since. They did a good job and they were quick. I was pleased with his work because he made good on showing up when he was supposed to be there and he took care of his business and he did a good job and he took care of the leak. It was done well. The quality was great. The price kind of changed a little. They were punctual. I would use them again.

He came out, he examined. He couldn't give me a price. said that he would email me a price. When he emailed the price he said it would be about $2000. It looked like he had padded the price. He wouldn't talk to me after he emailed it to me.

They were courteous and professional. The only flaw was that they're a victim of their own success. They had lots of roofs to fix, and it took a couple of weeks before they were able to work on mine. But it was worth the wait.

He came out on time and gave me a quote. I have not used his services yet. So, far everything is going good. I would use them again.

Reiter Roofing was one of the contractors that I called for an estimate on a new roof. They came out promptly and then called with a verbal estimate. All of the estimates that I received were in the same $$ range, but the others were more detailed, written estimates so I chose one of them. I have no doubt that Reiter would have submitted a formal proposal if I had asked for one, but in the interest of time I chose another since there was very little difference in price and all had top ratings on AL. Based on other AL reviews I am sure Reiter would have done a good job.

He was fine to work with. They were able to schedule my appointment within a few days of my call. I was impressed with how he arrived on time.

The repairmen came and did their thing. It did not take long to repair the roof. Their was leakage on the entire back wall of my house from the upstairs bedroom to my dining room. They came, cleaned the drain out, installed the rubber and I haven't had any moisture since. I plan to get a rubber roof and new skylight in 2014 and will only be using Reiter.

A guy named Chaley came by to give me an estimate to replace my roof and install sky lights. He was on time, professional, and friendly. I called their office a week later to see if they had my estimate ready and was told that Chaley was on the phone and would call me back. He did not. I tried to get them to give me a quote for a few weeks and called five or six times. Each time I was told that Chaley was on another call or was out of the office. eventually I gave up and called another roofer.

So far so good -- haven't had a leak since They cleaned up after themselves to the point I didn't realize they had even completed the work. Very punctual and professional

This roof leaked during all the downpours this rainy summer of 2013. Since it had been installed six or seven years ago by City-wide we called them first. They never came out, even after repeated calls. Then we turned to Reiter.. what a difference! Phone conversations were professional and quick, Chalie came out and estimated the job in just a few days. I live out of state, so all communications were handled over the phone and email. The whole thing was done, billed, and paid for in a week or so and hasn't leaked since. This roofing job comprised repair and resealing of flashing that had pulled away from the parapet wall and a deteriorating chimney. Chalie explained the complications and assured me he had a newer product for sealing chimneys that would do the job. So far, so good, and this saved me calling in a mason to repoint the chimney. When you have tenants complaining of leaking roofs, wet wiring, and collapsing ceilings you go nuts waiting for somebody to return your calls and get things moving. Reiter seems to understand that and does the job.

They came out and gave me a price which was high. So I did not use them.

I called Reiter to certify a roof that I knew (based on the buyer's home inspection had some issues)/ The roof was very high (4 stories in some places) and Evan didn't have a ladder tall enough. He was a pro though and crawled out a 3rd story window to take a look. Not only did he give me a report of findings, but photographs that I was able to send to my sellers(in Colorado) so they could see first hand what we were talking about. He submitted his proposal the next day and it took me a couple of days to get the ok from the sellers to do it. Once it was ok'd, it was about 10 days before the roof was completed.

A complete disaster. We had to have 5 calls to get them on site. They came late, they did not have the right address and when i complained about the fact that they were late they gave attitude and just left saying there was no point. They do not know where their people are when and they do not know how to manage their schedule. It was the customer's fault because they had the wrong address. Never again

The appointment went very smoothly. The crew arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently. They replaced my entire entire roof in a only a few hours. I would definitely use them again.

I found Reiter roofing through Angie's list and decided to call them since they had really good reviews. I must say I was not disappointed at all! As many reviewers mentioned, it takes time for Evan to call back but that is because Evan is extremely busy giving estimates and checking out roofs all day! Initially, I called them to get an estimate to replace the roof on my new home since the previous owners had not replaced the roof in a while. I already got two other estimates while I waited for Evan to check out the roof. When Evan finally got to check out my roof he called back to let me know that my roof was not in need of immediate replacement and I may actually only needed a repair that should be able to postpone my roof replacement for 2-3 years. His quote was very reasonable and he explained me exactly what needed to be done. As a new home owner I had very little cash on hand, so I went with the repair instead. The repair was scheduled seamlessly and two people showed up on the designated day and time. They were very professional and absolute gentlemen. I was made aware of all the work that was being done throughout the process and it took them about an hour to get everything done. I even paid my bill after all the work was done. My only complain - Barry should cash the check sooner :). In conclusion, I will recommend Reiter roofing to anyone and everyone I know.

Everything went well. The price was fair. I had a lower bid from another company that would have done less work and I had a higher bid from another company to do more (replacing rather than repairing). The company with the higher bid did offer to do the same work as Reiter at a fairly comparable price, but without a guarantee. So I chose Reiter. My roof hasn't leaked and I am very happy with the work that was done.

auChalie could have been a magician in a former life because he appeared when promised, took a long look at the evidence of the leak inside, then at the outside walls and flashing. He found what appears to be the source of the trouble: a small section under the sliding door threshold where the rubber roof was not overlapped and torched correctly. An easy fix for us but one that two previous pros couldn't locate. When a larger project comes up that requires expertise and craftsmanship, I won't hesitate to call Reiter again.

it went great. they were quick, responsive to my questions, and did a great job.

The roof leaked after they made their repairs. They came back and fixed the leak, but I would not use them again. I felf their crews were very unprofessional. They would say they were coming out and then not come out, when they did come out he didn't have the right equipment so he had to come back. He tells me after the fact that he only has imitation slate, not real slate that he's going to use to make the fixes. The guys were spitting and smoking and littering all over the property. They were there several times, but it was never the same group of roofers. I didn't feel like it was a good value. I used them b/c they were well rated on Angie's list, but I will definitely take my chances with someone else next time.

I called early in the week, and they said they?d get back to me later in the week to set up an appointment. They called, and we set it up for Friday. The roofer came, assessed the problem and said he?d get back to me with a quote. A week went by, and I heard nothing so I called him directly. His voicemail said that he?s not good with voicemail and not to leave a message. It?s now been a week and a half. I?m moving on.

I'm a very happy customer!! We found Reiter Roofing here on Angies List. We had a leak over our garage.. the wood had rotted out & we knew we needed a new (flat) garage roof. I did my homework and got 3 different estimates.. Reiter Roofing was about in the middle. These guys were great - they were prompt, courteous and professional. I was very pleased with them and their work.. They cleaned up after themselves.. they even swept out the garage floor. 2 days after the job we had alot of rain.. but no water in our garage! Thank you Reiter Roofing! I am very happy with your services and would definitely call you again. In fact, I just recommended you to a friend.

Being both in the construction business and property investment for nearly 30 years, I know how difficult it is to find competence, quality service, and good value when dealing with contractors, ESPECIALLY in the Philadephia city limits. No doubt that Reiter Roofing meets the grade. Charlie and Evan are highly qualified and timely, and the office personnel are very professional. Service: Completed a property build-out where the general contractor was an idiot who hired unqualified roofing subcontractor (Sept. 2011). Reiter stepped in, repaired / finished two flat rubber roofs properly, inspected and certified, at a very reasonable fee. Considering this was a repair / completion service for previously inadequate installation by "non-qualified" subcontractor, it is very difficult to find a contractor to pick up the ball and complete a project with diligence, fairness, and professionalism. Recent roof inspection for cleaning was timely, and as expected, very professional (August 2013). Highly recommend.
