Reiter Roofing

Project went very well. The crew arrived one time and made the necessary repairs. They were knowledgable and professional. We will definitely use them in the future. They presented us with realistic options to address the issues. We never felt like they were attempting to upswell us or create unnecessary work. For us that is key.

It went well. Reiter Roofer workers were on time and detailed about what work needed to be done which was a new roof and new skylight installed plus they were reasonably compare to other roofing companies. I will definitly used them again.

Most recently they came out again, my house was under warranty. The first time they did not do anything because it was all covered in snow but then they called back, i was expecting we were going to reschedule but they did it on their own. They came out and patched whatever hole and i was not charged for it. It felt good.

For the first time in 20 years, my flat roof (Philly 3 story row home) does not leak. And I have had many roofers come to my house for both new roofs and for patching. They were prompt, friendly, reasonably priced (this was a custom order 5 foot square sky light - shades and opening controlled).

They were fine. The young man was helpful.

Very reasonably priced. Barry came out himself and looked at the roof on a rainy day. Very easy to talk with and explained everything that needed to be done. The winter weather made scheduling difficult, but when there was a break in the snow, the guys came out on a very cold day and got the job done in just a few hours. They also didn't charge me for a temporary repair to the front downspout to hold me over until they could replace it. We're happy with the results.

They were excellent. They did the job the best and it got fixed well.

Barry Reiter examined the roof of our house that we are preparing to sell and offered his recommendation for what we should do in regards to contracting out roof work for repairs or replacement. Although Reiter Roofing is not local to us, he was recommended by a family member and traveled out to us to scope out the job. Barry thoroughly examined our existing roofing and provided his expertise in what we, as sellers, should do to make our house more attractive to potential buyers. We discussed some options and he presented a quote for a new roof. His quoted price was very reasonable and on the low side of the bids that we received and my opinion of Barry is very high and he is extremely knowledgeable and easy to deal with. However, we will most likely select a roofer that is closer to us due to logistics.

We called them for a leak. Because of such a stormy winter in our area it took some time for them to come out which was completely understandable. They said they would call before they came, which they did not. Only reason I knew they were there is when my tenants told me and I got the bill.

Got a few quotes on the job that were way too much. Chose Reiter because they had a good price and came right out when I called. They were prompt and thorough and got the job done quickly.

We paid for the repairs on behalf of an elderly friend who could not afford them. Reiter roofing worked with us to quickly repair the roof, and they maintained our anonymity as we requested. They also performed a little extra work at no charge. Someone always answered the phone when I called and their responsiveness was excellent. I have not been to the house, but our friend has not complained of leaks. I was extremely impressed by their work ethic and compassion, and apparently the work done was very good. I would call them for my own roof.

I have been dealing with a gutter problem that during rainy days and even melting snow have been leaving water dripping down the front of the brick facing on the front of my house for some time now. Reiter Roofing has been very professional, informative, and cooperative from the first time I called them. During the free estimate they came out in a timely manner and after viewing my roof, wrote up a detail description of the job they could perform. As I have had previous roofers attempt to fix the problem, Reiter roofing is the only company to give a 1-year repair guarantee. This means they will return 1 time if the problem occurs to do additional repairs at no cost, according to their written explanation. Although I originally called about 1/8/14, due to the wonderful winter we have been having and the work is weather dependent, I didn't expect to hear from them until Spring. Also, I was told at that time that they give a forty-eight hour in advance notice. Although this affects me with getting time off from work, It was explained that this is done because the work is weather dependent, understandable. For the actual day of the job that took place on 2/25/14, once again I was pleasantly surprised as I just knew they were going to cancel due to a very cold day with snow flurries, Corey and the rest of the Reiter crew arrived at the stated time that was quoted the day before and started work immediately. Corey was very courteous while going over the job details and patient enough to answer my questions. The job was completed very fast, but I will not know if the problem is resolved until the next rain. I can say that he did show me through pictures, which he also offered to email me copies, an area near the gutter that he and the crew repaired that have never been addressed with other roofers. Yet, I can see that this could be a contributing factor to the problem. In the end, if goodness forbid, I still find that the problem is occurring I would still call Reiter Roofing as their policies and actions seem to say they are willing to stand by their work. I will try to update if the problem was resolved if possible in the future.

They were excellent. They came out right away for an estimate. They did a good job while I was away and they waited to collect the money. They were excellent. They were friendly and professional.

They are very good. I've used them twice actually because I liked their service. Overall experiences was good. They were friendly and prompt. They gave prompt responses to my questions and they were reasonably priced.

They did a great job, they were professional, and clean. They knew exactly what they were doing and had the proper equipment to get the job done correctly and quickly. I would recommend them to anyone in the future.

He was on time and inspected my roof. He was going to charge me a small fee for the certification. After inspecting my roof he said it needed to be replaced and that there was no way he could certify it. I appreciated his honesty. He could have written something up and ran with the money but his reputation meant more than the money. He said that he would not change me for coming out since the roof could not be certified. He was a real standup guy.

I found Reiter Roofing on Angie's List and was very happy with the experience. Everyone I dealt with was very professional and courteous. Great communication, showed up when they said they would and completed the job timely. Would recommend to others.

Lied to me about repairs needed. Misrepresented who would make the repairs. Did not tell me that he did not repair shingle roofs. Would not recommend this person to anyone

When hurricane Sandy hit in 2012 I had a section of my roof blow off. I found Reiter Roofing through Angies' List. After going through the reviews for many roofers that were listed I came across one that had many more positive reviews than negative. I called Evan Oxenhorn at Reiter Roofing and told him of my problem. At first he told me that he would give me an estimate but could not guarantee that they could do the work immediatly since the hurricane caused so much damage that they were swamped with work for the forseeable future. I acknowledged that but went on to tell him that I had plaster ceilings in my home and was afraid that since the shingles and tar paper were ripped off that I would have a lot of interior damage to my home if it wasn't done soon. Several days later they called me at my business to tell me that they were at my home and were doing the repairs to the roof. It turned out great. To my surprise they were able to match the color of the then 15 year old shingles. In talking to Evan later I found out that his father had owned a company that had originally put the roof on the my home as well as at my busineess. When I got home to look at the job you could not even tell that they were there. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a roofer in the Philadelphia area. My only regret is that it took me a little over a year to write this review.

I didn't use them. I got the work done cheaper elsewhere. It's because of the price that I didn't use them. There was no problem with the estimate, it was just a little high for what needed to be done. Getting an estimate from them was pretty smooth. They gave me a quote for $3500 for a roof repair with patches and stuff. There wasn't any problem with getting the quote.

They just wanted to patch it, coat it and put another layer down. He was going to give me a quote but he never did. I just wasn't satisfied with that. They never got back to me. Everyone else said that the roof was fine until they saw the joists. I couldn't hold them responsible. When they came out, they came out right away. They were there on time for the appointment. He was fine when he was there. I would consider getting another quote from them in the future.

They arrived when scheduled, identified a potential problem with brickwork near the roof line, and performed the work as agreed.
