They came the day after the windows were put in. They came and worked very well, they came early, they arrived at 8:00 and were scheduled at 10:00. They did great job.

Never showed. I called later that day and was told someone would look into it. NEVER got a call back. Considering I lost half a day's work, they should owe me money

They made repairs without replacing my roof, and they were fantrastic!

I have been using the company for about 8 years. They are very straight forward. They are responsive and do their best. The staff is polite and the pricing is reasonable. I have had no problems with the company at all.

After first contact, they promptly scheduled a visit for the estimate and we received a written statement soon after. When we contacted them to do the work, we were scheduled in a timely manner. We are happy with the work that was done and will definitely call on them in the future.

They cut an opening and allowed the leaves to fall water through. Now water does not stay on the roof. They were very efficient!

Evan came out to look at an issue that I believed to be related to roofing problems. His conclusion was that I am actually having an issue with the house settling and recommended I get a bid from a mason. I am sure he could have taken me for a ride but he is honest and gave me his evaluation and recommendation at no cost! I will use him again.

Extremely responsive and punctual. Very courteous over the phone when scheduling the free estimate. Very happy with the quality of work and one year repair guarantee.

I called 4 roofers to get quotes. Reiter Roofing got back to me pretty much right away. Their estimate was the most comprehensive and within the range of the other 3 roofing companies. I changed the specs for the new roof couple of times adding more materials to the job and they worked with me to come up with the best solution. At the end of every workday they cleaned up after themselves and made sure the roof was in place before the rain started. I also received some pointers on maintaining my stucco and trim to make sure that the water doesn't get in another way. The new roof looks and feels solid. It rained a lot today and it was for the first time in a long time I felt confident that our roof will not let us down!

Someone called a week after I sent a message... Told them the were late to the game.... I gave the details of the job and they provided me with an estimate over the phone ... I said just give me a ball park since they were so late to respond..... They turned out to be 55% higher then the company I am going with...not even close. One thing to remember I did not use them so I can not say comment on the quality of work...

They told me they would be out on a Monday morning to look at my roof to give me a price to coat the roof. After not hearing from them I called them that Monday afternoon to see if they had been out. I was told someone would call me back. I never got a phone call back but after about a week I received a letter in the mail giving me a price to seal and repair my roof. There was nothing on there about coating my roof which was what I had asked for. I called once to tell them about the mix-up and never heard from them again.

Decided to take another route to repair roof. Did not use provider.

I had researched them and saw that they did a job for someone from out of town. I am from another state and was worried hiring someone remotely. It couldn't have gone better. They were terrific in every way. The price was fair they were easy to work with , very good communicators, work was done in a timely manner and they were very protective of me in the midst of dealing with the person who was buying my house. i was beyond pleased!!! They were just great!

I choose them because they had a lot of good reviews and also seen some of their local business. My experience with them went very well. It went off without a hitch, so that was really nice. He explained what he was going to do and then they didn't stop until they were finished.

Very reasonable estimate AND cleared an obstruction to my roof drainage. I received several estimates, and Reiter was VERY close to the low estimate. I went with another firm because of a relative. I will not hesitate to contact Reiter I the future, if need be. Thanks.

We called Reiter Roofing, along with a few other roofing companies, to give us an estimate on fixing our leaking roofs (3 story row house with 2nd floor and 3rd floor flat roofs). Reiter's estimate was the highest we received but after getting feedback from others familiar with the roofing industry in Philly, we decided to go with them, based on their strong reputation. It took a while because they were backed up (maybe a month from when we had our last estimate interaction), but they called on a Friday saying they had an opening and came the next day (Sat) and spent the entire day at our house, fully replacing the 2nd and 3rd story roof. It's been 2.5 months, with several torrential downpour storms and we have seen absolutely no leaking. We are very pleased and highly recommend Reiter Roofing-they won't be the cheapest but you pay for quality, professionalism and a guarantee of good work, done right the first time.

Reiter Roofing was the best subcontractor experience I have had in years, even since I first bought my building. It's very old and when worked on things usually go wrong. But Barry Reiter and his crew were prepared, proactive, and aware. The building is still very old but it seems finally sealed, and the roof and windows look great. They have since stopped by just to look at questions I had and to advise me on related issues. I am grateful. The A-frame roof is the oldest part. Reiter Roofers found leaks in the hatch and hidden paths of water that no one knew were there before. They sealed the leaks in a 100 year-old half crescent attic window others said would need to be removed. They fixed the drainage issues onto the large flat roof which they cleaned and sealed and came through on reengineering modern alternatives for failing internal drain pipes. And the skylights, it appears they are finally sealed after several others tried. I waited a while and finally after the most recent flash flood storm I'm ready to feel safe about my building being dry. The crew knew their stuff, Tim helped answer questions whenever I had them and they fixed unexpected issues not listed on the written estimate, without additional charges. They got it right and I'm grateful. I researched, contacted home remodelers, other contractors and Barry Reiter was the name that kept coming up as reliable, thorough and experienced in troubleshooting difficult jobs. They are busy, it took a few weeks to get on their schedule but again, I couldn't recommend them more.

Reiter Roofing did not provide a written estimate. He just came out and looked at the thing and just told me how much it would cost and I didn't like that. He should always provide a listen estimate, always say what you're going to do and that your work is guaranteed and all that stuff. His pricing was higher.

We hired this company several years ago for a job at a friend's house and everything went well. When I called a couple of months ago to schedule an inspection of our own house, I was told they were very busy because of the harsh winter and it would be several weeks until someone could come out. We understood this and were willing to wait. The inspection took place on June 19 and I was told a proposal for the maintenance work needed would be e-mailed to me. I have followed up twice since that time and still have not received a proposal. The person that inspected the roof seemed very knowledgeable and appeared to do a thorough job. We're quite disappointed that we have not at least received a call saying they are behind and will get to us in the near future.

The job went beautifully. The Reiter crew was on top of everything. They were punctual and highly efficient. Aside from the roofs, we had issues with two skylights which they were able to resolve. They went above and beyond to insure that our present leaks would no longer exist in those areas. The office was extremely courteous and responsive to our questions and concerns. On the day of the job, the team was split into two teams, one for each roof. This allowed the installation to proceed timely and was finished in one day. So often having work done by others is a real pain. Reiter Roofing made this job so pleasant for us. We had a good idea about what we needed done and Reiter Roofing knows the roofing business well. It was a great working relationship from beginning to end. We were very impressed with the completed job - the flashing of the junctures, vents, skylights and the application of the new roofing material. At the end of the job all debris was removed from our yard thoroughly. Since the job was completed we have had several rain storms with no leaks. Our job includes a warranty. Reiter Roofing has been in business since 1993. So many businesses are here today and gone tomorrow. We feel secure that Reiter Roofing will be around to honor our warranty if ever needed.

I had a bit of apprehension about looking for someone to replace my roof because of all the horror stories I've heard over the years. I had extensive water damage in my home over the winter so I knew I would probably need the roof replaced. I turned to Angie's list and contacted about 6 different Roofers over about a months time. After meeting with all of them, I chose Reiter roofing to do the job for a few reasons. Chalie was the person that came out to give me the estimate & I felt very comfortable with him and with what he told me. He showed me pictures of the roof and explained my options for the type of roof that could be installed. I settled on a white flat roof and of all the estimates I got, this was the the most competitive. All in all it was a positive experience, the work was done on time and I appreciated Chalie's professional & pleasant manner.

He was able to give the estimate for the roofing where it was needed but he was not able to do the other work. He was nice enough to give me a recommendation of someone that could do all of the work and that worked out very well. He was the very first roofer to come out and give an estimate as the ladies in the office were able to schedule him the date that I called.

I wanted to hire Reiter based on the many positive reviews I have seen here and elsewhere. My experience seems to be an anomaly, but I had very bad luck with their company. Part of my three-story downspout blew off in a winter storm and a subsequent rainstorm brought a lot of water into my house. I called Reiter to give me an estimate for replacing the whole downspout system. It was hard to get a live voice at their office and difficult to schedule the estimate as a result. They rescheduled my appointment at least twice. After they visited, I waited a few days for a quote to arrive in the mail. When nothing came a week and a half later, I called and left a message requesting the quote. When I received no response, I moved on to another company. Throughout this process, I continued to get water in my house with every rainstorm. I'm not sure if my job was too small, Reiter was too busy, or my file just got misplaced, but it wasn't worth my time to continue working with them.

It went fine. Due to the bad winter, I had a little bit of a wait but it was worth it. They came out and did the job. They were pleasant, and I would use them again.
