Description of Work: Needed latch on dishwasher fixed.Maytag manual listed a company in the Philadelphia area, Quaker city.It is a $105.00 charge just to come out and give an estimate. The service man arrived said we needed a new latch and he would order it.When asked if it would be better to just order a new dishwasher we were told our dishwasher was in good shape and it would be better to just repair it. It would cost in total $275, that included the high estimate charge.A week later the latch was replaced,when we ran a load all the water poured onto the kitchen floor.We called and were told the same seviceman would call in a day. He called and said he'd be out the next day.He gave us a time frame, showed up 2 hrs late,looked at it for 5 minutes , and told us he'd call the next morning.When he called he said "Bad news!" , now we needed a new door and hinges , all for another charge of $375... This company is untrustworthy, unreliable and a waste of money. Do NOT use this company, we should have bought a new dishwasher and they should back up their previous estimate...I

+ -1 moreThey were quick to make an appointment to fix the dishwasher, and the guy was here for a 1/2 hour and had it fixed. However, I felt the price was expensive. I had an estimate from someone else who wasn't available as quickly as being around $67, $190 was about 1/2 the cost of the dishwasher itself, which I bought almost 2 years ago.
Description of Work: Replaced fill valve in dishwasher to stop it from leaking. I found this company as someone who was licensed to service Whirlpool dishwashers.
