Billy from Prestigious Painting was forthright, professional, and did the job fast, well, and for a fair price. Excellent attention to detail and committed to making sure I was happy. Always left the worksite clean and tidy at the end of every work day, which I'm a stickler for. Great communication and courteous throughout, I'd happily use him again and recommend his painting services to my friends and family.

This was a small commercial project and Bill was great for our staff to work with. He was responsive, gave us ideas on how to save money, purchased needed material and matched colors and even did some additional work that was not in his proposal. He did the work on time and did a a good job of leaving the premises clean when he was finished.

Bill from Prestigious Painting is very friendly and courteous throughout the estimating and work execution process. Bill walked through the house and pointed out specific areas that he would repair during the estimation process and provided great painting advice. Bill was also very accommodating to our short-notice schedule and completed most of the work before we moved into our home. He perfectly color matched swatches we had from different paint manufacturers. Bill is very precise in his painting prep work and patched many defects that my wife and I had not even noticed until he pointed them out. The quality of his work is very high and my wife and I are impressed with the end result. We are pleased that he suggested painting the kick panels to the stairs as it breathed new life into our dated staircase and saved us money in our remodeling budget. Throughout the process Bill contacted us nightly if we didn't see him in-person at the house to provide updates on his progress and what his plan was for the next day. The work did take an extra day and a half to complete beyond Bill's original estimate, but the trade-off was completely worth it because Bill spent that time correctly preparing the surfaces instead of rushing to complete the job on time. He did communicate this schedule change to us when he realized the stairs and first floor ceilings were in rougher shape than originally thought. This meticulousness resulted in a superb paint job and we are thrilled with Prestigious Painting's services. We plan to use them for some exterior paint work in the future.

Bill was great to work with and I have already discussed the next painting project with him. I contacted him in the fall (Oct '13) and he told me it was too cold to paint the exterior, he would slot me in for the spring. This was different than several other reputable painters in the area who were willing to complete the job in November. I did some research and discovered that paint should have a min overnight temperature to properly cure. I appreciated his honesty and so we waited until spring. I found that all of Bill's advice was in the best interest of the project/finish. He is focused on delivering a quality outcome and he's quick to point out common short cuts common in the industry. I contacted him in the spring and we agreed on a date and a price. He was also very helpful in picking out colors, walking around the neighborhood with me to brainstorm ideas and showcase his previous work. We had wood rot that needed to be addressed before he could paint and Bill recommended a carpenter he works with regularly. Bill also helped schedule with the carpenter so that our job could kick off when we wanted it to. The two worked well together. The carpenter wanted to use a lift for the dormer repairs and Bill was able to bring one over from another job to help keep my costs down. The lift allowed him to work quickly and as an added bonus, he helped move a bulky piece of furniture through an upstairs window! Above and beyond :-) If you are concerned about the schedule, I would confirm Bill's working days ahead of time. He worked through the weekend, but then did not show up during the week on perfectly sunny days. I work from home, and I wasn't too concerned about the schedule so it worked OK for me. Also, its just Bill. Having met him in Oct, I presumed he was the sales guy and the crew would follow. He is the company. He says he uses another painter on bigger jobs, but I suspect he is a one man operation most of the time. The benefit is that he controls the quality and there is not a gaggle of guys in front of the house.

Bill and Anna were a pleasure to deal with. I knew it would be a relatively small job for them, but they were highly professional. I got one estimate that was just a little bit cheaper than Prestigious but went with them because of the positive vibe. In order to get the work scheduled as soon as possible, Bill asked if I could be flexible and let him do the work with just a few dfays notice. We tried for Labor Day weekend, but the weather didn't really cooperate. He showed up early the following Saturday and spent the day filling the nail holes, chaulking where needed, primering and doing several finish coats. It was getting late in the day and he said he'd come back the next day to touch up some small details and reinstall the hardware. He swung by for an hour Sunday afternoon (after calling) and got everything in order. I'm very happy and know that if I found any issues down the road, he'd be quick to take care of it.

Did nice job at reasonable price. Friendly and responsive to requests. House looks great. Would definitely use again.

The overall experience was exiting. The estimate was scheduled and completed in a very timely manner with an unexpected pair of Prestigious employees. One to tell us about the company while another walked through my house and did measurements. The estimate was given within 2 days. Another large obstacle is our family dog but fortunately they were very dog friendly. Work was mostly completed during my work hours but continued into the evening a few days. Daily cleanup was performed so that it didn't feel as though we were living in a construction zone. The results were stupendous. Imperfections in the walls were unexpectedly corrected. Lines between colors were perfectly straight and the finished product looked Great! I would and have recommend Prestigious Painting to friends. Thank you Prestigious for a job well done.

Bill from Prestigious Painting came to our house to look at the job. He was courteous and professional. He made suggestions when asked and had good ideas. He was knowledgeable regarding types of paint and colors in the context of the size and brightness of a room. He started the job on time and sanded every crack and crevice.The finished job makes the house look new.The wood work and trim look like they were newly installed. The windows now look new. The colors are great. Bill takes pride in his work and it shows. He got a huge job done very quickly and beautifully. We are very happy with Prestigious Painting and would hire them again.

Great experience. We needed someone to do the work right away and these guys delivered. Very communicative through the whole process and easy to work with. The quality of the work was excellent and they left no trace. I highly recommend.

We thought Bill had done a satisfactory job until we discovered our inside wooden window panes dented. It was not just one window pane but at least four of them. They actually have nicks in the pane and the paint has been chipped off. On top of this, Bill forgot to do one section of our dormer. When we complained about this, he said he would come out in the spring of 2012 to complete the dormer. He called us 1x during Easter weekend when we were away. Then he emailed us and asked if we had paint left over. We replied that we didn't have extra paint. We never heard from him after that. Finally I went to buy the paint even though I wasn't too sure of the color. I have emailed Bill twice and I have not received any response. I am now resorting to Angie's List to see if the company will at least respond to my complaint about their unfinished job.

Latest Update: Have successfully sued Bill/Prestigious Painting in Philadelphia Small Claims Court for failure to honor warranty and perform services in a satisfactory manner. Currently in process of seizing assets to recoup the damages. Don't be surprised if Bill doesn't appear on the job as his van is on the list. Have hired Nolan Painting to redo the shutters(so far so good). As they were removing some of the worst ones that previously bubbled and cracked within weeks of Bill finishing the job, I was shown the back of one shutter which again shows the poor quality and low performance standards of Bill and Prestigious Painting. This large hole was never brought to my attention and was not highlighted as a needed repair. Instead it was simply covered up and put back up hoping I would never notice. See attached photo. Absolutely terrible. Be very careful with Bill and strongly recommend you avoid but if you do use, check and double check everything before you pay him. Bill very good about pushing to be paid, but not good about quality workmanship and honoring guarantees of his work. ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: IT IS VERY INTERESTING THAT AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT BILL/PRESTIGIOUS PAINTING ABOUT THE PAINT BUBBLES WITHOUT GETTING ANY RESPONSE, I FINALLY LEARN THROUGH THIS FORUM THAT MY WARRANTY WAS DEEMED INVALID. I CHALLENGE HIM TO PROVIDE ANY DOCUMENT OR EMAIL THAT EITHER CONFIRMS HIS CLAIM THAT I WAS TOLD ABOUT MY WARRANTY BEING NO LONGER VALID OR THAT I ACCEPTED THAT CONDITION. ALL CARPENTRY WORK WAS ACCEPTED AS RECOMMENDED AT A COST OF SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS. THE SHUTTERS WERE TAKEN DOWN, REPAIRED, SANDED AND REPAINTED ENTIRELY BASED UPON HIS RECOMMENDATIONS AND STANDARDS. I ACCEPTED HIS RECOMMENDATIONS AS HE IS THE PAINT "PROFESSIONAL". YES I DIDN'T FEEL THAT EVERY SHUTTER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AND ONLY REPLACED ONE OF THEM WHILE SEVERAL OTHERS HAD THE ROTTING WOOD PANELS REPLACED. BOTH BILL AND THE CARPENTER ACCEPTED THAT PLAN OF ACTION AND AT NO POINT WAS I INFORMED THIS WOULD CHANGE THE STATUS OF THE WARRANTY. ALSO THE HARDWARE REFERRED BELOW WAS ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE WHICH WAS NOT REMOVED BY HIM BUT JUST PAINTED AROUND IT. IT IS CLEAR THAT BILL AND PRESTIGIOUS PAINTING ARE NOT RELIABLE NOR HONORABLE AND MORE CONCERNED ABOUT HOW THINGS APPEAR THAN DOING A GOOD JOB. PLEASE SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS FOR HOW THIS JOB TURNED OUT. Bill/Prestigious Painting was hired to paint my historical home in Society Hill. While it started out OK, it quickly deteriorated due to many other problems that were encountered with the paint job including wood and brick issues. While none of that was Bill's fault, how it was addressed and communicated to me became a big problem. Several more direct problems started to occur during the job such as changing the colors of the paint without my approval. The metal railing in the front of the house had to be painted three times, the last time by me, in order to have the right color applied. Bill spent a lot of time on the front of the house but tried to quickly finish the back of the house without adequate preparation. He didn't even bother to take the hardware off the back door before painting which I then had to refinish myself. The larger and more significant problems occurred at the end of the job when Bill refused to reinstall my shutters until the punch list was finalized. This is completely backwards. He then asked for additional payment to handle some of the punch list items including charging $65 for the delivery of extra paint. I ended up doing many of the final punch list items myself. When the shutters were eventually installed after several more weeks of delays, I noticed a few paint bubbles that I had asked to be fixed. He didn't respond. Within a few weeks, significant cracking and peeling of the paint on almost all of the shutters started to appear. Bill has still not responded after multiple attempts and I am likely to start legal proceedings against him and Prestigious Painting in order to enforce the supposed warranty. Bill talks a good game, but doesn't deliver and seemed more concerned with getting paid then doing a good job. BIll/Prestigious Painting is not a good painter and has now demonstrated that he is unreliable and not willing to honor his commitment and warranty. I would NOT recommend using Bill or this company.

My experience with Bill, Anna and his team of professional, skilled painters was fantastic from start to finish. They are very knowledgable about historic properties, and we trusted them to paint nearly every room in our 4000sq ft historic row house. They are great communicators and took the time to explain their process and make recommendations about repairs and color selections. They were very flexible with our tight schedule, and got the job done on budget and on time. In the middle of the project we asked them to paint the wood floors in our bedroom, and a few other extra requests. They quickly gave us an estimate on cost, and still managed to finish the job before we moved into our new home. We plan to use Bill and his team again next year when we paint the exterior of our home, as well as some color changes to our interior spaces.

Bill and Anna responded promptly to my request for an estimate and subsequently gave an equally prompt and fair price. My house was in dire need of painting, and Bill did a wonderful job. He had to do a lot of scraping and caulking of one of the door frames as it was the original frame, about 130 years old. He arrived when he said he would and worked long days. The weather was horribly hot and humid but Bill never lost his cheerful disposition. He did a beautiful job and I'm delighted with the result. Did I mention that Bill is very neat? Definitely a plus in a painter! I repeat what many of his previous reviewers said: HIRE HIM! You'll be pleased.

There was some miscommunication with contact information, once everything was straightened out the quote come through instantly and the team called immediately to apologize. Everything was resolved in a professional manner.

Bill and Anna strike again with a great job. I used them last year and called them back for a larger job. I have an older home with original trim (almost 100 yrs old). Bill does a great job trying to restore it to its former glory with sanding and caulking before he painted. The interior was amazing. Bill also painted the front exterior of my home and that also has the "wow" factor. My neighbors and family cannot believe how great it looks. He was very helpful, and connected me with someone who could help repair a damaged piece of my cornice before the paint was applied. Overall great job, my home looks new both inside and out. I am definitely happy I called them back.

Bill did a great job on our house! He helped us pick out a great color for the kitchen and gave us tips on how to clean or touch up any scratches we might make while moving furniture around. At first, we just hired him to paint the ceilings, but after we saw what a great job he did (and how quick it was), we decided to forget the idea of painting on our own. We hired him to paint the whole downstairs and he did a great job! I really appreciated that he took the time to sand the walls and cover everything to make sure no paint got on our new cabinets or hardwood floors. We asked him about yellow spots on our window sills and he offered to smooth them out and touch them up with some kind of spray. He did all the window sills around the house - not just the rooms we hired him to paint. He went back and touched up the trim and doors too. Whole job took about a week I think. And it probably would have been quicker, but he was actually just fitting us in between 2 other jobs he was doing. Bill contacted us at least once every day to let us know his progress and it was easy to get in touch with either him or Anna when we had questions. We had no problems trusting him in the house while we were gone either. Only little tiny issue was that he left a big contractors bag of trash in the back yard. Wish he would have gotten rid of that, but maybe that's typical protocol. Other than that, Bill was great! I would definitely recommend him and will call him again in the future if we need any more painting done.

I own a historical home. The plaster walls and trim required a lot of work . Bill and team were so great from the day they delivered the estimate until I got to see my brand new rooms and door. I've had bad experiences before as I am going through a home renovation and I am happy to say it was such a pleasure to work with Bill and his team - they are true professionals! I had several painters come to the house to provide me estimates. Bill and Anna stood out right away. They were prepared and organized. They listened to what I wanted and provided immediate feedback and suggestions. I could tell they take pride and truly love what they do. Bill also walked me though step by step how we would accomplish the job, which made me feel at ease. In addition to the impression they made the price was competitive. Bill was offering much more service and was competitively priced. The choice was simple. Bill's team made my two rooms look like new! They corrected many imperfections in the walls and trim and completed a very professional paint job. The two rooms he painted and my front door look like new. Everything was completed in a reasonable time frame and Bill kept a good line of communication with me so I knew what to expect in terms of the work and time. My home was left cleaned after the work performed. Bill also kindly gave me some advice on my home renovation. I could not be more satisfied and will use Bill for any of my painting needs in the future. I strongly recommend Prestigious Painting!

Bill and Anna came out and gave the job a careful inspection, returning an estimate in a timely fashion. Bill was able to start almost immediately thanks to an opening in his schedule. His preparation was expert and meticulous. He brought in new drop cloths for the job. ("I don't like to bring other people's dirt into my clients' home.") He worked quickly and quietly in a thoroughly professional manner, finishing the job exactly when he said he would. He is a very pleasant person and his work is superb. He was especially careful to make clean edges and corners even when access to the areas wasn't exactly easy. We will certainly ask Bill to come back the next time we have a painting job to do. We have complete confidence in him.

This is the second time we've hired Bill from Prestigious. He's shown up when promised and has performed excellent work. The exterior of our house presented some challenges which he tackled with true professionalism. Two of our exterior windows have security shutters which required extra care and attention. One window has an iron grating which was painted, primed and then spray painted. The grate covering the exhaust vent was painted without my asking. All the windows were caulked, primed and painted in a workmanlike fashion as was the cornice, basement door and front door. The concrete skirting around the house was also painted. He also applied rust inhibitor to the interior of the basement bulkhead door. He uses high quality materials - customer purchased - and left the excess with us. The job site was left clean and tidy.

I called Prestigious Painting and Bill and Anna were extremely professional from the very first contact. They both came to my house to give an estimate and offered to fix problems that I had not noticed (like uneven plastering where the walls met the base boards). They left a suitcase of paint chips for me to go through at my leisure to make sure I'd be comfortable with my color choices, even before I had committed to using them. I had two more visits from them before going ahead with the work, just to consult on colors and go over everything that I needed to do to prepare for their visit. Bill earned my trust very early on, so much so that I let the painters come in and paint while I was on vacation. Their deadline to get things done was very tight, but they were ready for my return with just a few touch ups to do afterwards. The work was immaculate and made me realize that the previous paint job had not been as professionally done. Bill was very eager to please and addressed any questions or concerns I had as soon as I arrived home after being away. He even gave me a lesson on how to clean marks off the new walls or touch up scratches and left me with supplies to do so. The walls look great (smoothed out and beautifully painted) and have given the house a new fresh appearance. I would definitely use Prestigious Painting again and recommend them highly.

We found Prestigious painting's work to be an extremely professional. Estimates we quick and easy. The quality of the work is second to none in coparison to rooms i tried to paint myself. Not the cheapest price but as i have learned you have to pay for quality. Thank you to Bill and his team for making my halways and bathrooms look great!
