I got there 15 minutes before my appointment and Charlie was already there doing a walk thru. He was great!! Very thorough and explained everything I had questions on (and explained things that I should know. He was great!

Description of Work: Gary from Pillar to Post did a house inspection for us prior to us buying a home. He was very thorough and we received our detail report with pictures that same day. He also gave us a handy binder with additional information about home buying and home maintenance which was really helpful. While we ended up not buying the house (in part because of the things revealed in the inspection report), we were very happy with Pillar to Post and would use them again.

Very professional... the engineer had our inspection report right on the spot... I didn't use them for the next inspection because we had a stucco specialist come out the next day and he indicated the entire house would have to be stripped and redone to the tune of a couple hundred thousand bucks within 5-10 minutes of being onsite... I thought the Pillar to Post guy could have at least given us a heads up... but after suffering through another inspection company and being on a tight timeline waiting for the report was disconcerting... so turns out Pillar to Post did a pretty good job for what they were contracted to do... I would use them next time, but probably would not pay extra for the thermal reading... it provided some value, just did not appear to me to be the value that it was charged...

Description of Work: complete home inspection. pointed out many areas where we got the homeowner to fix problems at their cost, not ours. however, the price for the home inspection was more expensive than other companies. everything went very well everything went well
