Philly's Phinest Roofing

I had a highly disappointing experience with the owner, Eddie McGovern, and Philly's Phinest Roofing. He requested access to my roof to complete work on an attached property and provided written confirmation that they would replace my roof as part of the agreement. He ranted about the terrible condition of my roof. I didn't want a contractor on there if it was so terrible. He manipulated the situation, backtracked on their promise, and become completely unresponsive. His lack of integrity, dishonesty, and failure to follow through on a written commitment makes them a contractor to avoid. Be very cautious if you decide to work with them. A company that operates this way is unprofessional and unethical taking advantage of homeowners especially like me trying to help out my neighbors. They caused over $100,000 in damage to my house by failing to prepare for a rainstorm. They then proceeded to never show up on time. Their craftsmanship is rivaled only by that of a drunk toddler. I need to have my roof replaced less than two years after Philly's Phinest installed my roof. The new roofer was shocked and at a loss for words when I showed him my roof. He found it hard to believe that it was done by "professionals".

Do not hire. Did not finish the job. Once they got the money, never heard from them again.

I loved working with Philly’s Phinest. Eddie was very responsive, and was always available for questions. During the project he kept me updated on how it was going, which provided peace of mind. The price was great too! I would recommend Philly’s Phinest to anyone in need of roof work.
