Amazing, they fixed the leak in the roof and put a new roof on the back garage. Very professional and clean.

Everything seemed fine, got the work done. paid $875 plus the cost of the skylight. About a month after the job was completed the roof leaked where it hadn't leaked before. I called Phillips and they sent someone out. That employee told me the leak was between two sheets of rubber they laid and they'd be back the next day to patch it up. Instead of coming out and patching the roof I got another invoice for $850 saying the leak was an issue the roof didn't have previously and that I could be placed "first on their list for work" I didn't feel right about that, I feel that they should have come out as I was told they would and patch the leak. Unfortunately, the next day we were getting another big Nor'easter and the ceiling in the room I was experiencing the leak totally caved in a few days later. It's a literal disaster.

The workers arrived on time ( I believe that they arrive before the 9:00 am appointment) which was a good. The workers were nice and they did not play around they did not stop to take breaks. The workers worked until the job was done.

The insurance claim adjuster said he found the estimate reasonable and followed it. A three person team took about eight days to do the job. It was clearly dangerous initially to walk on 70 year old slate but the roofers were obviously experienced at doing such work and there were no mishaps. The owner himself watched over the work. The mortgage company inspector immediately rated the work as 100% satisfactory. The presence of the roofing team was hardly noticed and never an aggravation. They fixed a couple of items free that were not in the contract.

I received a call from Marie about 830 informing me that the roofers were on their way . Ms. Marie also asked me to open side gate in order for the roofers to have access ! About 20 mins later they were at my home . Young man asked me where the leaks were . I let him know its was the back bedroom and kitchen! I am so sorry for forgetting your name ! I was exhausted and my brain was mush!!!! I was extremely glad they were able to come on Friday 2/9/2018 because its suppose to rain over the weekend. I will definitely call Phillips Home Improvement back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I must say that Phillips came out for the estimate as promised and I was very happy!!!!!!!!!!!! Sad to say I called several roofers and only two returned my phone call , Phillips being one of them. To Ms. Marie thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We purchased a "maintenance package" through an Angie's List deal that was actually just a really expensive estimate. On the day, it went fine. The man they sent showed up an hour earlier than the window they gave us, but that worked out okay. He said he located the two leaks and patched them and that the patches would last 3-4 months. We received photos of the roof and an estimate for further work the next day and decided to schedule that work with them for a few weeks later. Within a few days, we had a rainy day and the main leak reappeared. We called them, and they said that the "maintenance package" was more of an "inspection" package, that their work wasn't guaranteed (in spite of the "Angie's List 30 Day guarantee"), and that their employee should not have told us the patch would last 3-4 months. Needless to say, we canceled any future work with them and will never book them in future. I've never written a negative review on here before, but if you can't stand behind your work, we're not going to hire you or recommend you.

At this point I have no complaints. They arrived on time checked out the roof, showing me pictures of what had to be done and sent an estimate the same day.

I plan to work with John on multiple future projects.

We have not moved forward with the work as we are waiting for our HOA president to agree with us to use this contractor to replace roof.

John and Nelson did very professional work. The craftsmanship was high quality, they showed up on time, finished after a few days on site and cleaned everything up when the work was complete. The railing was built from scratch to look just like we wanted. They returned to make a requested modification without hesitation. In the end, it was pricey but we got what we paid for. We are planning to have them quote on additional work at the same home and at our main home.

John was great to work with. He was very quick to respond to the estimate request and provided helpful advice with the replacement of old wood siding. He was able to schedule the work to fit our schedule which included a delayed start. The work was completed in one day and looks great.

Phillips has done a lot of roof work for us over the years. Most recently they installed a drain box in September of 2015 that had a two year warranty on it. Something happened to it in May/June of this year that bent it out of shape and caused leakage inside the house, and no one was sure what it was. It seemed like a freak accident. Instead of trying to deny us coverage through our warranty, we were very impressed that Phillips agreed to replace it. We did pay a small fee but much less than what an entirely new drain box installation would have cost. We appreciate Phillips's honesty and hard work and will definitely be using them again in the future.

This is the third job they have done for me and I will continue to hire for all future jobs.

It went very smoothly. We had other work done by "Phillips home improvement" before at our rental properties. I mentioned what work had to be done and they stopped by, took a look and fixed it that week. I didn't even have to go to the property. They took pictures of the work completed and sent it over to me. Would definitely work with these guys again!
