Description of Work: Peters performed the spring check on the air conditioner and fall check on the heater. When Peters did the fall check on the heater (2 years in a row), I asked the technician to clean the humidifier both times. Both years in a row I asked the technician when he was done the service if he had done the humidifier. His answer was yes! Shame on me for not checking the work either time! I had a persistent cough during this two year period. In the fall of last year I was in my basement doing other work and opened the humidifier. What a shocker!! The inside casing of the humidifier and the filter were pitch black with mold! I hired an Angie's list heating and a/c company (Custom Aire) to fix this mess. It took them almost three hours, but when they were finished the humidifier was sparkling clean and with a new filter. My cough also disappeared after 4 or 5 days of mold free air. I also used Peters at my business. In the fall of 2011 we had no heat from our gas fired heater. Peters came out and looked at it. They said the system was shot and we would need a new one at a cost of $6400.00. The other company (Custom Aire) came in and told us they were pretty sure is was the gas meter, not the heater. We had PGW come in and they put in a new meter for free. The system has worked perfectly since them.
