Received an estimate and project details (with photos), excellent work. Plan to Fugarino roofing next year. --- The first roofer that explained details about "my" roof and solutions. It's clear the customer is priority one with his team.

Nick Fugarino was on time, communicated clearly, identified our roofing issues, and fixed our problem in a timely way that respected the pocketbook. Would definitely hire again.

Nick did a great job putting a new rubber roof for our rental property in South Philadelphia. I was very nervous as I never dealt with the roof situation. I decided to contact Nick because he already had a great review at Angie's list -- they were all correct -- he was very professional, flexible and an excellent communicator. After having an initial conversation, I had a detailed estimate with photographs within two days (in email) from Nick. Actual job was one day and the entire process took less than two weeks from start to finish. He emailed me before/after photographs so even I can understand what was done to the roof visually. This was far the best experience I ever had for a contracting project. Thank you so much Nick -- you are the best!

Nick did a water test and it pinpointed the leak. When the roof dries he will seal the effected area. So far we only paid for the test. You have to love a roofer that says he doesn’t think you need a new roof. We will go with the spot repair then should that not fix the problem we will definitely discuss a new roof wit this roofer

Nick did an amazing job. He showed up same day to look at the leak. He returned today to do the repair. He took off his shoes when entering the house as well. Would hire him again and recommend him to everyone. Thanks so much for your prompt and professional service!

Nick and his crew were outstanding! Skilled, efficient, friendly and professional. Besides doing the job amazingly, they were even thoughtful enough to keep checking to make sure my cats were locked away before they opened the front door to get supplies. Nick knows his stuff and my roof is not only fixed but 10 times better than it was before. Highly recommend!

Well done! I’ll know more after a few rains, but all seems to be in proper working order. The charge was almost half of other quotes, Nic was polite, professional and responsive. I had to wait a bit, but with all the rain lately, roofers are busy.

Previous roofer stopped at the posts and Nick noticed that after I asked about how to stop water leaking in ceiling below the deck. He explained the thorough way to do it, so I asked him to make it right. Nick is meticulous. His work is tight. He goes above and beyond and doesn't take shortcuts. He explained what he was going to do and why and how it will make the roof and posts guard against any water. He also added flashing to deck beams above the post to stop water from running down posts and better capping for stronger water proofing. I'm confident Nick's work will stop the leaking near/around the posts with his work. I recommend him for any job big or small based on the work he has done for me.

Great. A small job but Nick is thorough in all his work. No shortcuts. While that was being done, Nick answered my questions about ideas for how to increase the water/weather tightness for one part of my roof where the deck posts sit on the parapet (I have a small leak in the ceiling below it). Nick always listens to the customer, gives his professional opinion about how he could accomplish the task with the goal of the customer being happy AND the work done the right way. If you’re not sure about your roof, capping, siding, chimney, skylight or some other part of the top structure and think something could be addressed, call Nick for his opinion. He will be honest in his evaluation. Nick will tell you if you need something or if it’s fine the way it is. It’s always a challenge finding someone who knows what they’re doing, is fairly priced and also available. Nick is very busy for good reason but will get you in the schedule.

Smooth. Nick and his crew were polite, professional and efficient. Even a hive of bees under the old capping didn't deter them from getting the job done. New capping is longer and stronger to guard against weather. Nick understands the homeowner's perspective and has in mind what's best for the owner and the house. And Nick fixed a part of my rain gutter that didn't look right to him the last time he came by. Nick is coming back again to cap my chimney not in use to stop the cold winter air coming in. All around nice guy and solidly professional.

Smooth. Nick and his small crew set up a time and arrived ready to work. It was a small job but important because it fixed the leaking. (My neighbor was getting annoyed.) Nick is courteous and professional. Small example- any materials brought through the house were wrapped up so nothing falls in the house or gets anything dirty. Nice touch. One of Nick’s guys mentioned that Nick insists on this. After this small job, I had him look at another siding issue I need fixed, and he will come back for that. And now he will be the first I call for any roofing/siding issue. If you want a roofer who knows his work, is fairly priced, professional, knowledgeable, works hard, shares advice to provide the best solution needed, call Nick. You can save time by calling Nick and skip having five other roofers visit with estimates. He’s very busy, which is proof he does good work. He will call you back and make time to visit. And he was on site to do the work, so you’re getting Nick and crew and not another team you’ve never met.

They arrive when they said and went right to work. They were polite and courtesy. They cleaned up and and did not track any dirt in my house. They did a good job at a reasonable price.

Nick Fugarino repaired the roof on one of my rental properties and did a reasonable job with the actual work. He finished the jobs two weeks ago, and said it was fine to mail him a check for payment. I put a check in the mail the end of last week (just about 1 week after he finished the job) and while it was probably in his mailbox today, he must not have seen it yet, because he called me 6 times today within 30 minutes while I was at a meeting for work, telling me I hadn't paid in a month (the job was 2 weeks ago), and used extreme profanity and threatened me and my family physical harm if I didn't meet him right away for payment (even though I explained the check was probably in his mailbox as we were having the conversation). I have Verizon "voicemail to text" service, which sends me a text copy of any voicemails I get. Here's the voicemail he left me today... please excuse the language, it's not my language, it's Nick's (the owner's) language... It's also important to clarify that he's wrong on the timing, as of this review the job was completed exactly 2 weeks and 1 day ago. The check was mailed approximately 5-6 days ago. These calls and voicemails were from earlier today. Voice Mail to Text: Listen you little mother ******* you better call me asap. This is Nick Fugarino the roofer. Listen I've been waiting three weeks I've been patient. My patience is running out. If I don't get this <...> money by the end of this week. I'm going to come out to your house and beat you to <...> up and I'm gonna go to that house. I'm gonna rip that <...> roof off and move forward on the <...> ground you understand us you better call me the <...> past(?) position I don't get a call back from you. I'm going there and I'm gonna rip that <...> move forward on the ground and then I'm coming looking for you and I'm gonna <...> real <...> up and take my money out of your <...> pocket you little <...> fridge understanding. You better call me the <...> back as soon as you get this. I'm <...> telling you to see.... Clearly, this guy is unstable and frankly very out of line. Use him at your own risk. On top of all this, i've talked to a few other contractors to get an opinion on the price I was charged, and three different contractors said the job should have been $2300 to $3000. Nick charged me $6200. It was a 2-day job. So, on top of threatening me physical harm, he completely took advantage of me on price. If you like being double-charged, then physically threatened, Nick is your guy.

Nick called right away to set up an appointment. Nick and his team were on time and went straight to work . They checked the roof and made sure they looked at it from the front and the back of the house. Nick gave his quote and was honest and not trying to get me to fix stuff that didn’t need it . He told me that the roof was fine I may have to do some work in a couple of years . Nick could have told me anything just to get me to pay him to do work . Nick was honest and it felt great now A days folks are trying to get over . When it comes time to do roof repairs I will call Nick to do the work. If you want to hire a honest , fair roofer Nick and his team are it .

Nick and his crew are terrific. Very professional and courteous. Nick was very quick to come look at the job and was then quick to follow up with a date to do the work. No need to follow up with him even once. He and crew did exactly what they said they would do, and finished the work on the same day. In addition to roofing, his crew also did some brick pointing for a chimney. I would definitely recommend him.

I can’t say enough about Nick and his team. He was the only company that could provide same day service for an emergency situation. Came out same day and fixed issue in no time. I will most certainly use him and his company for all of my future roofing and gutter needs. Nice to know great customer service still exists!

Nick and his team are honest and professional. I first call them about a new third floor roof. I went up there myself and it was a mess, cracked tar, soft spots in the wood underneath. They fixed the problem in their first visit which was only a day, completely replacing the roof. Based on their performance on the first visit, I had them come back to replace two custom-sized skylights. He fixed this issue as well beautifully. After both visits they cleaned the job up so well you'd never know roofing contractors were ever there. No more leaks!!

Nick came out promptly when I called him about a leak in my roof. The roof was examined and some patching was made. Nick said we should wait until it rains again to see if the patching worked before we discuss payment. After it rained he said not to worry about paying as it was a small job. He also gave me an honest assessment of the roof with pictures and as much explanation as I needed. Super nice guy and he and his staff are very professional. Thank you Nick!

I thought I needed a roof replaced on my home but Nick took pictures and showed me that the roof was actually In good shape and I could get a few more years out of it if I wanted to wait. He was very honest about the assessment and explained it all in detail while other contractors were giving me estimates for an entire new roof that really did not have to be replaced. I appreciate Nick's honesty because I know little about home roofing. THANK YOU NICK!

Nick is the epitome of a professional. We communicated by text and phone. His estimate was competitive. He even came and did some work for a reasonable charge to tarp the leak and remove snow while we waited for insurance to inspect the damage. He even met with the insurance adjuster during his visit to help him understand the damage. My insurance company’s adjuster shared with me that Nick was a great help in assessing the damage. Once the work began, his team was clean and very polite. What was an upsetting roof disaster became a surprisingly easy process with Nick as our roofer.

Nick did a great job! He answered his phone when I called and came out in a timely manner and his price was very reasonable. I will definitely being using Nick again. Very happy!
