The job went very well, and I was very satisfied with every aspect of the job. I worked with Steve, and his team. Steve was honest, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I would have to say as a homeowner I've work with plenty of "handy man" type of contractors that say they can do any job, but at completion it's apparent they are not only dishonest, but learning how to do the job on my dime. I will absolutely use Steve and his team again, and have confidence that the job will get done right.

Great. This is my second experience with Mr. Contractor, and I will use them again. The work was done timely, done well and the workmen were pleasant to deal with.

My experience with Mr Contractor was great. After numerous other maintenance/repair companies put small bandaids on things only to have the problems reoccur (I've been dealing with leaks for about 4 years).. Mr Contractor came and finally finished what was needed. I was skeptical because their prices were a bit higher than others... but when you're spending small amounts again and again on companies who don't actually solve the problem, I was more than happy to pay up to have it finally fixed!! Well worth it. We've had a number of seriously heavy downpours since they came and I haven't seen even a drop of water. The sense of relief we finally have is really indescribable. Also.. the QUALITY of their work is A+ Next time I need anything I'm not wasting time on any other company again I would recommend them to anyone

We would like to give the highest rating to Mr. Contractor, Inc. and, in particular, to one of its owners, Barry Spector. We have done a number of home improvement/renovation projects over the years with a number of different general contractors and none can compare to the high quality of the services we received from Mr. Contractor, Inc. This project was especially challenging as it involved our need to substantially renovate a residential property that is over 160 years old while we are living over 1,000 miles away! Barry Spector was as constantly attentive to and focused on this project as if he were one of the owners of the property himself! He communicated with us on a very regular basis. We developed complete trust in his judgment and in the quality of the work he and his crew performed. We would recommend Barry Spector and his company without reservation—something we would not say with respect to any other general contractor we have ever worked with.

Very good. Had one unexpected, unanticipated problem that was promptly fixed. Happy about that. Would hire again.

I want to start out by saying the final product is exactly what I was looking for and the quality of the work very good. I've had multiple compliments on the new stairs and a beautiful new modern style railing installed. They were my third estimate and based on the others they were the middle price but having the photos on their website and lots of examples of their work in addition to other ratings here on AL helped sway me to them and so I decided at the time of the estimate to move forward immediately. There were some bumps in the process though around communication and setting better expectations with the customer. The day of the demo I wasn't clear as to what time they would arrive. Knowing they opened at 7am I assumed it would be shortly thereafter but had to call a few times to find out when they were arriving. They arrived after 9 am, went straight to work after confirming exactly what was needed. It was clear they were extremely knowledgeable. Off to work they went. At lunchtime they said they would be back in an hour (makes send) but 3 hours later they still didn't arrive back. I called and after a few conversations they were back after 3 1/2 hours because as I was told they needed to finish a different job from the previous day. This pushed back their end of day - but because it was concrete they had to keep working which meant they were there until 8:30 pm. Much later that I had anticipated - then I had to babysit it for 3 hours to ensure it dried without any messages written in it or and damage. About 2 weeks later (within the timeframe they initially relayed) the railing was installed and the project was completed. For that portion I didn't need to be home which was a great help to me. Based on the quality of their work I would hire them again... no doubt. I'd just be much more in touch with them and ensure and double/triple check every step of the way.

I was very pleased. Ken was great to work Given the appearance of the damage, I was expecting much more extensive construction. The project was done on time and on budget. The various crew members cleaned up at the end of each day and were very professional.

Second time I used Mr. Contractor and they were great again. Installed a new tub/shower and vanity and built a linen closet. Delayed 1 day to install tub b/c the shower drain didn't exactly match the faucet handle/shower head and they didn't want to install miss-matched parts! Good attention to detail. Worked with me to re-use the old tile around the new tub, since they don't make the old tile I had anymore. Diligent about ensuring the green marble fireplace tile had an appealing appearance given all the variations in the veining and tile color. Came on time each day and answered all of my questions during the job. Couldn't be happier.

The salesman came on time and gave a reasonable price. The workers did excellent work and stayed after the work was complete to make sure the concrete was dry before they left. I did have a question after about the concrete and the salesman came out and reviewed the materials and answered all of my questions. They were very professional and easy to work with!

Very well. The crew of three came on time and got to work very quickly. They did a very nice job on the windows both in terms of the seal and the appearance. We were very satisfied with that work and would call them again for other repairs.

Fantastic!! Highly professional company headed by Ken and what a great staff! All the work was done promptly and to high standards. I really worried about having a skylight replaced. As it turns out, right after it was done, we had a huge thunderstorm and the new skylight was leaking. I called them at 10:00 p.m. to leave a message. To my surprise, the Office Manager called me back within minutes to say they had received my message and in turn, I was contacted by Ken the same evening. Repair crew was on the scene the next day and no leaks.

Kenny and his team worked quickly and professionally and really took the time to understand my goals for the project. They took a very small and outdated kitchen and bathroom in a rental property of mine and made them bright, inviting and modern-looking, while keeping it simple and affordable enough for a rental property.

Ken and his team were very talented, punctual, personable and timely with repairs. Anytime we had questions or needed to contact Ken, he would always call back and show up with no hesitation. Our bathroom, the painting job, the drywall repairs, and other projects that were done came out great and we can't thank Mr. Contractor enough! I would highly recommend Mr. Contractor! I cannot praise these guys enough or thank Ken enough. First I have to give you my background. My wife was paralyzed in an accident July 2014 and was left a quadriplegic. Our house was inaccessible as it had steps for entry, had narrow doors, and no bathroom that was wheel chair accessible. Further, my wife had just come out of the ICU and expected 1 month of physical therapy before being sent home. We were desperate as our house would not accommodate her and every contractor told me they would need at least 2 months to get most of the work done which did not include the access ramp. I contacted Mr. Contractor, along with other contractors. Ken from Mr. Contractor was the first one that appeared when he promised. His quote was in line with the others but he promised me quality work that would make us happy. He also added some upgraded suggestions but kept his price close to what the others quoted. Shockingly, he promised to gut, remodel, and completely finish the work by the time she was discharged from the hospital. I selected Mr. Contractor but was worried as other families in the hospital told me how it took 3 months just to get their bathroom completed much less an entire first floor which included a kitchen. He also promised to move all the electric switches, widen the hallways and doors, and finally complete an access ramp. I'm happy to report they did everything they promised plus some extra things I requested like wiring for cable and other amenities. The ramp looks awesome and we get compliments from everyone that visits. My wife loves it and feels comfortable in the new house moving around in her wheelchair. I highly recommend these guys. Most important, we all make mistakes and when I pointed out theirs they never argued or made excuses. To quote Ken, "I'll get my guy over there by tomorrow and we'll make you happy." He always did!

It went great. Ken is the best communicater in the world. He is patient and caring and fun to work with. All of his workers are polite and responsible. They did great work and if there were any problems they were always taken care of in a prompt, timely fashion. I love my new apartment,

Ken Spector did our estimate and our main point of contact. Ken was professional, friendly and knowledgable. He responded promptly to phone calls (always within 24 hours, usually the same day). Ken was also on-time when he came for the estimate and follow-up. Additionally the work was completed ahead of the estimated schedule. The actual was completed by Joe and Allan. Both were very friendly, professional, and prompt. We highly recommend Mr. Contractor and will be using them in the future.

Most responsive contractor I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I called Tuesday morning and Wednesday morning before I went to work, Joe & Jim, the original guys who installed the siding came out. Mr. Contractor built a deck that far exceeded our expectations. The workmen were courteous and professional. Work was completed when anticipated. We are thrilled with the finished product, as are our friends.

The job went very well. The workers were able to start the work before the scheduled date which was great. They showed up on time everyday of the job. Al and Bill were professional and very conscious of their work. I had the same work done in 2013, and it looked like it did before the work was done, it was leaning towards the front yard, we thought it was supposed to be that way, so when the roof started to sag after a few wind and rain storms, we contacted several contractors, and decided to go with Mr. Contractor. I liked the fact that they have been in business for many years, and is family owned and run. The work that was previously done was poor and incomplete. The beam across the front step was patched together with 2x4's, the rafters over the porch rotted at the ends and weren't replaced as the people told me they were, thus the sagging roof. Mr. Contractor pointed this out and they fixed the problems, and now my moms roof and porch look brand new. Thank you Ken, Steve and the rest of the crew.

The three man crew arrived right on time and proceeded in an organized manner to remove the old trim, while cleaning up as they went along. The surface was prepared properly, and the new exterior trim which had been painted at the shop was cut and installed. The nail holes were filled and a second coat of paint applied. Clear silicone caulk was applied where the trim meets the stucco. Two hours start to finish. Very professional.

Kenny and everyone at Mr. Contractor were a pleasure to work with. From his secretary, Jennie, who was pleasant on the phone, to everyone that came into my home, I was beyond impressed. Kenny personally returned all of my phone calls in a timely manner, and evaluated all of the work that was done in my home. The first job was repairing the threshold of a stall shower and re-installing the shower door. He also did some drywall repair and painting in my house at the same time. The house was left in pristine condition, and the work is beautiful! When Ken said that someone would be at my house to start work at 7:30 am, they were ALWAYS prompt and polite. The second time I hired Mr. Contractor was for some flashing/siding work on the outside of my home. The work was done quickly, efficiently, and at a much lower cost than the other estimates I received. I will be moving to a new home shortly and would not hesitate to call Ken for future home repairs or remodeling projects. He is an honest contractor, who communicates well with his clients. I have been extremely pleased with all of the work that Mr. Contractor has done in my home.

Kenny and his team made the process of renovating the kitchen easy. He understood the scope of the project and provided an estimate on the spot instead of a week later. We met him at multiple supply houses to select cabinets, flooring and granite so that we knew exactly what we were getting. He gave the pros and cons and price differences for all of the selections that were required. The Mr Contractor quote was not the lowest but it was the best value as it included extra items including a new window, doors, baseboard and outlets. Everything was completed on time as promised and we were updated regularly.
