I felt that they were serious about solving my problem and making sure I was happy with the results. The work they did actually looks better as more time goes by. I notice more of the details that really improve on what we started with. They thought of improvements I had not even considered. I really got more than I bargained for. That is a rare thing. I highly recommend these guys.

My family had a vision to build a modern electric fireplace with mounted tv in our living room and basement. We called several contractors with no response back or not interested in our project. I stumbled upon Mr. Contractor in a google search around my neighborhood. I left a message and it was returned within 48 hours. Kenny talked briefly with me about what I was looking to accomplish, met me in person to discuss the details, and promptly provided a price with timeline. Mr. Contractor provided excellent communication throughout the process. His framing crew worked effectively and efficiently with respect to my home and family. Thank you to Rob, Alex, and the whole team. After framing was complete Nick and his team completed the electrical portion of the project within hours with the same care for my home, We chose to tile the framing and Isaac did a fantastic job. His patience and precision were notable. Rob, Alex, and the team came back to finish the mantel/TV mount, cleaned up my entire house, and left no loose ends. My expectations were far exceeded, my new fireplace and tv have become a focal point of the space, and I am completely satisfied. Mr. Contractor won’t be the cheapest or the most expensive in the market, but their value for craftsmanship, communication, respect, and personality is embedded in the company culture thus worth the price. I will certainly use them for more improvements and highly recommend their services.

As first-time home buyers tackling a major kitchen and bath remodel, we feel very lucky to have worked with Ken and his team. The entire Mr. Contractor crew was communicative, responsive, and professional. They had the know-how and practical experience to transform our vague taste and one single architectural sketch-up into a gorgeous, spa-like bathroom and functional, spacious kitchen. We love our home. Even better, they bought a lot of experience working in Philadelphia rowhomes. This meant that they knew how to respond—without blowing the budget!—when they ran into unexpected snags like an extra electric sub-panel or wood rot in the walls. Their subcontractors were also excellent. We are delighted with our new kitchen and bathroom, and know that we'll be enjoying the benefits of this investment for a long time.

It was a great experience working with the Mr. Contractor team on our bathroom renovation and the addition of a first floor half bath. The firm came highly recommended because a family member had used it for a renovation project. Barry communicated with us all the way, and the carpenters, tile setters, painters, and other folks all did an outstanding job. Everyone working for Mr. Contractor was courteous and friendly, and the quality of the work was solid. I'm very happy with the results.

I used Mr Contractor in 2017 for a back wall stucco nightmare and they went above and beyond, so I called them again when my sidewalk needed repair and they did not disappoint. They removed the old concrete, cleaned out the tree roots and debris (the cause of the issue) that an old contractor had left behind and poured the new sidewalk. They were thorough with great attention to detail. Beautiful work by their finisher. I highly recommend Mr Contractor.

When a big chimney collapsed on my house, my first call was to 911. One of the next was to Mr. Contractor. My house wouldn’t still be here if it wasn’t for his expertise, crew and persistence—roofing, floors, plumbing, structural engineering, carpenters, painters, masons, electrical, heating and more. Ken Spector was always in touch. He always returned phone calls and answered every concern. Absolutely outstanding service and work.

My job required many different kinds of work so it was necessary to go with a full service contracting company. I admit to being a little nervous working with a large company versus small but it worked out beautifully. Ken coordinated everything and keep me well informed. Everyone was kind, courteous, and left my home clean. All jobs were done well and completely to my satisfaction. Shortages of building supplies was a bit of an issue but everything got accomplished and in some instances better than my original plan. My complements and thanks to all those at Mr. Contractor who were involved with my project. I will recommend Mr. Contractor without hesitation.

Ken and his staff were very easy to work with, especially during COVID times. His staff was very professional and treated our home and renovation like it was their own. They took pride in their work and made sure WE were happy with their work. We are very particular people. Ken honored his word throughout the process and ultimately did everything he said he would do!!!! Ken helped us to upgrade and modernize our basement/family room, and we have received awesome compliments from others about it. We now have a beautiful room that works and flows together. The previously renovated room had a built in wall unit on one side of the room and a fireplace on another wall, and so your eyes were constantly moving in all directions. Ken helped to design and install beautiful porcelain tiles around the fireplace and hang a tv above it. We can we now relax to watch tv and enjoy a nice fire at the same time. In addition, Ken installed a new dry bar with beer/wine fridge so that our space can be used for entertaining family and friends. Ken also brought everything together by installing new dry wall and flooring. We have already recommended Ken and his crew to family members!!!

We are very happy. Ken Spector coordinated professional workers from Mr. Contractor with multiple trades, adjusted when we had to leave the key with a neighbor some days, and got it done in short time in a crowded workspace with someone in the adjacent room. The work is clean, the workers were always polite, and everyone cooperated with our unique concerns. They impressed us with their thoughtfulness and understanding of our needs. Ken was always available and rapidly addressed any questions. The people at Mr. Contractor are good because providing for a client is their reward.

I had contacted Mr Contractor to replace roughly 1,100 sf of siding and 12 windows. This is the biggest project we've undertaken and we wanted to make sure we were getting a fair price and the work would be of high quality. Steve Spector was very helpful at getting us a quote immediately, and he worked with us through numerous scope changes as we finalized the extent of the project. His crew- Eddie, Wayne and Dre were out here on 90 degree humid days working hard and paying great attention to detail. I'd recommend their services as they are great people to work with and care about the appearance of the project

It was a small rowhouse bathroom that hadn't been updated in 50 years. From demolition to the end result, the job took 2 weeks. The job required: carpenters, electrician, plumber, tile contractor, flooring installation and a painter. Debris removal was also included. Contractors typically worked from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. They cleaned up daily before leaving. All contractors were professional and friendly. I now have a bathroom that reflects my style and matches the rest of my home.

I plan to continue using Mr. Contractor for house repairs and improvements. They are extremely responsive and show up on time (or early). Their prices seem fair. Most recently, I needed a very large and heavy display cabinet hung on the wall, a smaller project than they would normally do. Mr. Contractor installed it for me for half their usual minimum price, because we have been a repeat customer. I was very relieved to be able to use a company that I trust. Past projects they have done for us include: adding capping outside around our bilco doors and below windows to stop water from leaking in; repairing a couple of walls that had been water damaged; sealing a leak in our roof and repairing the water damaged ceiling; cutting a hole in a 3rd floor interior wall and installing a door so that a bathroom is accessible directly from both the front and back bedrooms; removing old electric baseboards and installing new baseboard molding, patching the wall and floor where necessary. I just wish that they did painting, so that I only had to hire one company to do the project from beginning to end.
