From the beginning the cooperation and response from Mr Contractor was outstanding. We are a business in center city and needed a company that could do numerous things. Our contract was detailed and followed. Even when I questioned the color of a stain, the response and correction was immediate and done perfectly without any issues. I would use them again not only for commercial renovations but for personal as well. Thanks guys, great job!!!

Excellent. Barry Spector was pleasant, calm, and reasonable to deal with. He was responsive to calls and texts. The workers were clean, quiet (to the extent possible when doing demo and carpentry), and respectful. The new stairs and railings look gorgeous. I had received other quotes that were several thousand dollars more and didn't include the demo and trash removal. I did have to get the stain and finishing from another vendor that he recommended.

Mr Contractor built a 30x16 wood deck out back of our house. After our initial estimate meeting, Ken gave us a start date of 3 weeks which was great! The crew was very professional and punctual.. they were there to get the job done. They cleaned up each day and finished on time if not earlier then expected. Ken called us the next day to make sure we were happy! We love our deck! Will definitely use Mr Contractor again for our home improvement needs!!

Wonderful!!!!! The guys were always on time, sometimes a little early (8am)...THey worked all day, cleaned up, and took their trash with them...Each day, after they left you couldn't tell that they were threre...It was cleaner than before they started...The work was beautiful!!! I never saw a deck as nice as this...I really can't say enough how pleased we are...We definitely will use Mr. Contractor again

They executed the work in a friendly, quick and professional manner that made me feel reassured and very happy with their work. Their suggestions did not come with pressure, and I could really trust them. Terrible. Mr. Contractor of philadelphia has not acknowledged the horrible work they did on the install of 2 glassblock windows on 10/30/19. The BBB sent them my complaint with 16 pictures showing their unprofessional work. All that Ken in his attempts to rebut, says is that he is licensed. This was cleared up in my previous reviews and I fully acknowledged my misunderstanding. I only wish Ken could be as truthful as I am. Steve (Ken's son) wrote the 9/9/19 contract. Later on 9/12/19 he suggested to replace it with 9/12/19 contract. Both contracts had start and finish dates between 10/12/19 to 10/24/19 (which they did not honor.) On 10/21/19 I asked Ken to honor the start and finish date of the contract and to return the 9/9/19 contract. He told me it will be in the mail. He later said it had been shredded ( it was my evidence to keep.) The 9/12/19 contract did not describe the job done. I paid 2,400.00 for work done according to 9/9/19 contract which was supposed to cost 1,600.00. There was some brick work to be done as written in the shredded contract. The original windows were framed with cement and looked beautiful. After this install the windows looked and we're unfinished. Without the cover of cement the rusted steel lintels will be damaged by rain, snow and etc. I asked the installers to at least paint the lintels with rust proof paint. I was told that it was not in the contract. I'm a senior citizen, I was overwhelmned. Steve, why did you ask me if I had outside pictures of the original windows? You took a picture of both windows, that would show how beautiful my windows had looked before you messed with them. I have to hire a professional to correct this. I don't even know how the outside is. Ken says "3 coats" of rustoleum paint was applied to seal the rusted lintels and that the cost would have been an additional $800.00. How unethical of them. You said I was happy with the job because I paid the full $2,400.00. Of course I did. It was raining . I was at a disadvantage because of how late the job was done 10/30/19. Would you have come on 11/1/19 with your employee of 30 years to correct the caulk that you yourself admitted was sloppy and needed to be corrected and to have the rusted lintels painted with rustoleum? Where would I find someone on such short notice to correct this? I can't even go into detail of everything that shouldn't have gone wrong went wrong with this install. I just don't have the space. From cleaning up after your employees, yellow splatter all over the bathroom door and toilet, caulk that's coming apart and not properly applied in the first place, as I Had written in my previous reviews and letters to the BBB and Angies list. Ken look up the words ethical, honesty, Integrity and truth. Please do the right thing.

Mr. Contractor is always reliable and responsive. They meet their budget and schedule. I'm always satisfied with the finished project and they're the first contractor I think of calling when I need more work.

I have used Mr. Contractor in the past for a kitchen and bath reno, but this was by far my biggest reno. As always, Ken and team were detail oriented, extremely responsive, and patient (I can be a bit OCD at times). They took walls down, put new flooring, designed a kitchen and gutted the bathroom. The space looks amazing and I couldn't be happier. The entire crew were kind and helpful. I would without a doubt recommend Mr. Contractor. They even finished the job in the 7 weeks that they said they would. The before and after photos are amazing.

I had my kitchen remodeled about 4 months before the start of the pandemic. Working with Mr. Contractor was a wonderful experience. They were very responsive to my questions and attentive to my requests. Of course there are bumps in the road that happen along the way, especially when you are doing any demolition and remodeling because you can't predict what you are going to find, but the group at Mr. Contractor was very easy to work with. They are not the cheapest option out there, but for me, I need to be able to trust that the work will be done in a quality fashion, by people who are fully insured, and I can trust to be in my house when I am not there. For that reason, it's worth the money to me so that I can have peace of mind and my dream kitchen in the end!

It went very well. I dealt with Barry from Mr Contractor. He was thorough and honest from the start. My job required many different services that there was no way I could coordinate myself. He absolutely made it look easy. The work was all scheduled in advance, the people all showed up when I was expecting them, They worked at a good pace and got the job done pretty quickly. Everyone who came into my home was very respectful of the noise factor, especially since I work night shift and needed to sleep when they were working. On top of that, they did more than I was expecting without charging extra. They also did more than other people who gave me estimates for and at a lower price. The quality of work that I got for the price I paid was spot on. I will be calling Barry for all of my future home repair needs.

I am incredibly pleased with Mr.Contractor on all levels. I contacted them to remove old shelving in our bedroom closets and patch and repair walls as needed. They were very prompt with scheduling a visit to evaluate the work, in providing an estimate, and scheduling the work. Their pricing was very reasonable based on the extensive work that needed to be done. They were highly communicative in letting me know of additional work that needed to be done and actively sought my approval before any additional work began. Overall, they were very thorough and professional with the work performed. Even came back to address concerns after the initial work was performed!! Will definitely call Mr.Contractor again and highly recommend them!!!!

Mr. Contractor was excellent to work with. He was very responsive to all questions, he stayed on the job, and handled all permitting and zoning requirements. His price was reasonable and competitive. The workers on the job were very friendly and respectful. They did a great job explaining the work they were doing and minimizing their impact on the rest of the house. You often hear horror stories about contractors starting jobs and not finishing them or not calling you back when you have questions, but these stories do not apply to Mr. Contractor. He always took my call. If he didn't know the answer right away, he got back to me the same day. It was a real pleasure working with him and his team.

Mr. Contractor was amazing to work with. They responded the day I called and Steve provided an estimate two days later. The work was completed the following week The team, which was led by Alan, did extremely high quality work and were very efficient. They also worked with me to ensure the cost met my budget. I would definitely recommend them and will hire them again.

I was very disappointed that their estimate was not transparent and also did not include materials needed to complete the job. I assume when you get an estimate that they write down what you need done and then give an estimate. Not the case by two separate people from this company. Huge disappointment since I planned on hiring them but will go somewhere else. Big waste of my time
