Description of Work: Bought two new tires and tires rotated, plus an oil change. Work was reasonably priced and completed in a timely manner. Very pleased. Recently moved so I'm happy to have found a new garage, family operated and honest.

Description of Work: I got my car inspected and oil changed. It went better than the last 2 times I was there. They seemed to give me an accurate time of how long it would take. They gave me options of types of oil (synthetic or conventional). They're expensive like everywhere else in CC. They're garage is not too dirty and seem to maintain it went well compared to other places have been. I would come here again because they're coveniently close to my house where I can walk home. Their hours are somewhat limited since they're closed on weekends.

+ -1 moreIt went very well. This wasn't a complicated job, but I appreciate that the company is pleasant and easy to deal with - both on the phone and in person. It was easy to make an appointment, I dropped the car off and they called a few hours later with the estimate as they said they would; they didn't give me any South Philly attitude or treat me like an idiot or try to tell me I needed lots of extra work. We agreed to the work and I picked the car up after work when it was done. It wasn't so extraordinary, UNLESS you have dealt with a lot of auto repair places like I have. It was simple and professional. I have some female friends who are always treated like morons by auto service guys -- I will definitely recommend Mina to them.
Description of Work: I got the 60K maintenance done on my SUV.

+ -1 moreOverall I had a great experience with Mina. They were professional, courteous and charged exactly what they quoted.
Description of Work: Mina Motors replaced front brake pads, rotors and shim kit which resolved the crunching sound I heard each time I used the brake. They also determined that a toxic smell was caused by a foreign object (likely a plastic bag) stuck on the muffler. They said that the smell would dissipate within a few days, and it has!

+ -1 moreIn short, my car, which had only ever been to the dealer's before, was better than it had been in years. And, we found out that the brake screeching was due to non-Volvo brake pads, put on by the Volvo dealer!! They also were able to tell me that the door with the awful noise was not a safety factor, just an irritation, and that my brakes, which I would have believed in need of replacement, were fine, just noisy. Mina Motors was professional, reasonably priced, in comparison to the dealer, and my car was returned cleaned both inside and out. I will use Mina for all of my future mechanic needs.
Description of Work: I had a flat tire, a dead battery, and a 98 Volvo v70 that had not been running well for the last 2 years. Mina Motors changed the tires, realigned them, charged the battery, did a GREAT tune-up and replaced a lot of little things.

When we explained that we just bought new windshield wipers a month ago and there was absolutely nothing wrong with the ones we have (and there isn't), he said he'd pass us on the inspection anyway. I found the incident a little curious.

Description of Work: Took car in for annual inspection. After an hour, owner called. Needed new front wheel. Not thrilled about paying for new tire, but, safety comes first. Mina Motors did inspection, rotated tires, changed oil, put on new tire.

+ 0 moreI had a flat tire and called to see if they did tires; they were very nice and said to bring it in and they would try to repair the tire before replacing it; they plugged it and also did an oil change. The oil change was $29.95 plus $5 for some fluids, plus $4 waste disposal. The tire plug and taking it on and off the car was $20. They did it within a few hours (I didn't need to wait for it) and were very nice about everything. A gentleman named ''Joe'' did the work.
