George Mike Hepp The founder and CEO of MCA General Construction, Inc. with over 25 years in the construction trade. Mr. Hepp has gained the respect of his peers throughout the building and construction trade in Philadelphia, Montgomery County and Bucks County. In addition to his excellent skills in the trade, Mr. Hepp is also a problem solver in bringing complex facets of construction and concrete needs. Mr. Hepp’s talent is not limited to concrete and masonry work in and of itself. He also brings 25 years of experience to all phases of construction as he would put it, “from the ground up.” Mr. Hepp has also managed to establish an unprecidented team of subcontractors to maximize and strengthen the backbone of MCA Construction, Inc. I called for an estimate with MCA. To start with, they called and delayed the time of the estimate 10 minutes prior to show up by 1.5 hours! They still ended up 30 minutes late. He had the wrong address and when i gave him the correct address, he still went to the wrong house even though the houses on the block are all well numbered. He then quoted me a price that was over $1000 over the next highest competitor. The other estimates I got were between $2800-$3800. His was $4850! They also couldn't do stamped concrete at all and wouldn't offer any warranties, which other companies did. I would never use them or reccommend them even as an estimate source to anyone else.
Description of Work: I am looking to replace my cement paio in my Philadelphia rowhouse with either stamped or stained concrete. I also have some raised flower beds that the previous owners had cemented over that I want opened up again. Finally, I need some concrete patch work done in my basement when the 90 year old concrete is crumbled.
