It was terrible. Many times Mr. Bynum said he was coming to fix some issue, but often he didn't show up. Several times he did come, but he left before checking with me to be sure he had addressed my concerns properly. He wasted a lot of time trying to avoid consulting with me. Lots of "corners were cut" and circuits trip too often now. Mr. Bynum told me lots of things he thought I wanted to hear, knowing he had little intention of doing all of what I expected would be done. For instance, he knew I expected that new circuit breakers would be installed after the panel boxes were moved, but he apparently scrounged around for old spare parts he could find and reused many of the old breakers originally put in the panel boxes. I also was told a timer wasn't working so I had to replace it, but it does work and Mr. Bynum still has it wired into the electrical maze he started. Three panel boxes were relocated, and some wiring was "misdirected". Now 4 pool lights must be on in order for the outlets near the pool to be operational! That is a ridiculous situation Mr. Bynum caused. I foolishly gave Mr. Bynum a chance to rectify the errors he and his crew made on my project, but I have learned that he kept cutting corners. I even agreed to advance him part of his final payment on May 20, which he was not entitled to get until he was totally finished his work, but he chose to do little work that day; although he knew that I was having a gathering that very evening. I called him repeatedly and left messages, but he didn't get back to me. So, early the next week, I stopped payment on the advance (a check) I had given him. I have not seen him since May 20, but he once told me that he went on vacation once my check "bounced". When it seemed that Mr. Bynum was trying to be responsible in my home, I told him I wasn't going to sue him. However, since an electrician has been here since before 11pm and it is now 2:28am trying to get my pool pump working by correcting electrical problems created by Mr. Bynum, and a different electrician was trying much earlier in the day to create a solution to Bynum-caused electrical confusion, I will be looking into suing him. Check the pictures to see how he left his work at my house.
