Marshall Home Inspection

Description of Work: I called Marshall Home Inspection mainly because it was the closest location to my home--there were no previous ratings on Angie's List. I was looking for someone to inspect my roof prior to getting it repaired. I thought it was a good idea to get an objective evaluation before hiring a roofer. The person I reached on the phone apologized for the noise, as he was in a Home Depot store at the time. We agreed he'd call me back after he left the store. He did so, and after a brief discussion of what I was looking for, we agreed on a price ($249) for a "partial" inspection, appt. for that Friday, 8/19.at 3PM. On Friday morning, I called him and asked if we could change appt. and we agreed on the following Monday at 3pm. On Monday, he didn't show and didn't call. I went to address of company on Angie's list, and didn't see name of company on building directory there. After all this, I decided to go ahead and contact roofers directly and get estimates from them, instead of paying for inspection.
